Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 266: Chapter 152: Special Equipment, Shadow Cloak!_3 Chapter 266: Chapter 152: Special Equipment, Shadow Cloak!_3 Next, it wouldn’t take long for her blood volume to be fully restored.

Sarah, with a face full of apology, said, “Sorry, my lord, I accidentally stepped on those hunters’ traps.”

Cao Xing shook his head, not blaming Sarah.

As an assassin not skilled in frontal combat, single-handedly holding off dozens of hunters for so long was already impressive.

Sarah, having recovered, took a deep breath and once again leapt out like a fierce tiger.

Swish!

This time, she directly targeted the Black Robed Priest.

The Shadow Blade in her hand kept striking down.

The Black Robed Priest raised his longsword, struggling to defend.

Ding! Ding ding ding!

The sound of the short knife and longsword clashing echoed.

The Black Robed Priest kept retreating, being suppressed by Sarah.

The situation on the other battlefield was similar.

Even if the enemies outnumbered Assam and his group several times over, it didn’t matter.

The group of hunters could only watch as the number of their teammates dwindled.

Moments later, while defending against Sarah’s attacks, the Black Robed Priest cursed, “Damn it! If the High Priest hadn’t gone out, none of you would get away!”

Cao Xing, speechless, replied, “Then just have him come back.”

After speaking, he directly entered the [Demon Transformation] state.

Andrew also entered the [Owl Beast Form].

The two of them transformed into long-range bombers.

Evil Thought Fire, Moonfire Skill, and Starfire Technique bombarded continuously.

Boom! Boom boom!

[-754]

[-781]

[-802]

[-653]

[-542]

Andrew’s damage was a notch higher than Cao Xing’s.

This druid’s level had also risen to the full level of 20.

The damage had qualitatively improved compared to in the Ascalon Tomb.

As the two exerted their strength,

the speed of the hunters’ deaths increased.

Three minutes later,

only the Hunter Priest and two Elite Killers remained struggling to hold on.

However, their blood volume had reached a dangerous level.

As Renice’s arrow shot out, one of the Elite Killers died instantly.

Then, the other Elite Killer also succumbed to death by Hilda’s Blood Poison.

A group of people slowly walked over, completely surrounding the Black Robed Priest.

He knew he had no chance left.

“You guys, when the High Priest returns, he won’t let you off!”

Cao Xing couldn’t be bothered with him.

He directly let Sarah end the opponent’s life with a single slash.

[Your territory member: Sarah successfully killed a lv30 Hunter Black Robed Priest, a third-tier boss level creature, and gained experience value: 3000]

[Combat personnel gained experience value: 1500]

[You destroyed a hunter’s hidden camp, reputation value +500]

…

“Not bad, not bad, a 500 reputation point reward as well.”

Cao Xing clapped his hands and said, “Clean up the battlefield, then follow me into the village.”

After hearing this, everyone moved into action.

A few minutes later, Assam and others collected everything on the ground and handed it over to Cao Xing.

First was a wave of equipment.

[Obtained: Martial Artist Short Sword (Purple)]

[Obtained: Hunter Priest Mask (Purple)]

[Obtained: Intermediate Power Heart*2]

[Obtained: Basic Power Heart*5]

[Obtained: Hunter Elite Soul*3]

[Obtained: Silk Inscription Backpack (Blue)*1]

[Obtained: Sly Short Knife (Blue)*5]

[Obtained: Black Rock Greatsword (Blue)*2]

[Obtained: Standard Soldier Longbow (Green)*7]

[Obtained: Arrows (White)*372]

[Obtained: Shadow Cloak (Special Equipment)*47]

[Obtained: Coins*5317]

…

In addition to these, there were seven or eight small and medium attribute books.

Cao Xing nodded, “Not bad, all the equipment on these guys exploded out, aside from a blue backpack, there’s also two Intermediate Power Hearts.”

“But it’s a pity that the Black Robed Priest didn’t drop a soul.”

But it’s nothing, the things dropped by these hunters were quite nice.

After all, just the two Intermediate Power Hearts could allow at least two full-level creatures under his command to break through to third-tier, significantly boosting their strength.

After pondering for a moment, Cao Xing gave these two Intermediate Power Hearts to Andrew and Assam.

They were Cao Xing’s first batch of summoned creatures, and they had both reached the level of Deadly Loyalty.

The two solemnly accepted the palm-sized Power Hearts and expressed their gratitude to Cao Xing.

Then, they crushed the Power Hearts.

A powerful force surged into their bodies.

The transformation from second-tier to third-tier was not as swift as from first-tier to second-tier, so they needed a little time.

Taking advantage of this time, Cao Xing checked the attributes of that piece of purple equipment obtained.

[Martial Artist Short Sword lv20 (Purple)]

[Quality: Rare]

[Attack Power: 273~298]

[Attached Effect ①: Power +10, Agility +10]

[Attached Effect ②: Combat Stance (Increase blocking chance by 20% when entering battle)]

[Attached Effect ③: Martial Artist (When engaging in weapon combat, there’s a 30% chance to disarm the enemy.)]

(Equipment Introduction: Aim for the opportunity to knock away the enemy’s weapon, then pierce his heart—Martial Artist: Willie Bachman)

…

Cao Xing thought to himself, “This weapon is more suitable for combat-type melee professions, but Assam already has the Ancient Rapier.”

After some thought, Cao Xing gave this weapon to Liu Muxue.

Although the attributes weren’t quite suitable for her, it was much stronger than her current lv10 [Ice Crystal Sword (Blue)].

Then, Cao Xing looked at the attributes of that blue backpack.

In this world, space items were relatively rare, generally only obtainable from treasure boxes, and the chance was very low.

Up to now, Cao Xing had only exploded one [Noble Backpack], with a capacity of 40 slots.

[Silk Inscription Backpack (Blue)]

[Backpack Capacity: 80 slots]

[Attached Effect: Power +5, Agility +5]

(Equipment Introduction: A backpack inscribed with magic runes, with a luxurious appearance and weak attribute boost.)

…

“It actually has an 80-slot capacity!”

Cao Xing was delighted.

Although his backpack capacity was almost sufficient, who would complain about having too much space?

So, he equipped it directly.

Since each Survivors Lord could only equip one backpack, he gave the discarded [Noble Backpack] to Liu Muxue.

Cao Xing nodded in satisfaction.

As for the other equipment, like [Sly Short Knife] and [Black Rock Greatsword]

they were some blue equipment, so it wasn’t necessary to look at them.

No one under Cao Xing could use these weapons.

As for the green quality standard short swords and longbows, they were level 15~20 equipment. Later, when those Ascalon soldiers leveled up, they could be equipped with them.

At this time, Cao Xing noticed a new piece of equipment, the Shadow Cloak.

In the system notes, it was marked as special equipment.

He checked the attributes of this item.

[Shadow Cloak (Special Equipment)]

[Quality: None]

[Attribute: None]

[Equipment Effect: After equipping, you can conceal your breath, making it impossible for non-friendly units to detect your strength. The effect disappears once attacked and is invalid against entities 10 levels higher than yourself.]

(Equipment Introduction: A cloak developed by the Light Church for hiding identities, imbued with the faint power of the Red Robed Bishop.)
