Chapter 2840: True Buddhist Aura And Tune Of The Buddhist Dao!

The Abbot couldnʼt tell if what he was seeing was reality or a fleeting dream.

But there was no doubt about what he felt—True Buddhist Aura.

ʼHow does he have it?ʼ the Abbot thought, bewildered.

It wasnʼt that he doubted Lin Muʼs potential. No, Lin Muʼs profound Buddhist affinity was evident to anyone who observed him. But the appearance of True Buddhist Aura was simply too soon, too sudden.

Even within the sacred walls of the Green Lotus Temple, only the Abbot himself, Monk Hushu, and a few select elders had reached such a realm of attainment. And Monk Hushu had only stepped into it after decades of meditation and service.

Yet here Lin Mu sat, unmoving and unaware, wrapped in an aura most monks would never hope to attain in a lifetime.

HUALA!

The aura swelled once more, flowing like a tide released from some divine ocean.

The Abbotʼs awe deepened. He wasnʼt the only one who felt it now. The sheer pressure of Lin Muʼs aura pressed upon the room like sacred incense smoke—gentle, but impossible to ignore.

Soon, the sensation grew so potent that even the other elders stirred, their meditation broken.

But they said nothing. They simply turned their heads and looked.

HUMM… HUMM… HUMMM…

And then they heard it—the same chant the Abbot had heard earlier. It resonated not in their ears, but in their hearts. In their souls.

Their eyes widened as they turned to the Abbot, uncertain.

Were they to intervene? Was this some sign of danger or divine revelation?

The Abbot simply raised his hand, calm yet firm. Do not disturb him.

He needed to see where this would go. He had a feeling that even he could not predict how this would end.

Minute after minute passed.

The aura surged again, growing stronger and more profound, until even the senior monks—those with decades of training—began to stir. Their senses, sharpened through endless meditation, detected the shift in spiritual air.

At first, they assumed it must be the Abbot or one of the venerable elders at the source. But when they opened their eyes, they were met with an unexpected sight.

Lin Mu.

The serene youth at the side of the Abbot.

And just like that, a wave of murmurs passed through the hearts of all ranks.

They heard the same chant—the same melodic, obscure verses—emanating from him. And yet… Lin Muʼs lips never moved.

ʼWhat school of thought is this from?ʼ

ʼWhat Buddhist temple did he study under?ʼ

ʼIs this… a lost scripture? One from the ancient era?ʼ

Try as they might, none could recognize it.

But then, through the veil of mystery, clarity bloomed like a lotus in a still pond.

They finally heard it—words clear and solemn, each syllable echoing through the very fabric of their beings.

”Let thy heart be as the moonlit pond—unmoving, clear, and deep. Release all suffering, and awaken to the boundless stillness beyond form. Behold, the Calming Heart Sutra!”

HONGLONG!

Suddenly, all the bells of the Green Lotus Temple—whether small handbells or great ceremonial gongs—began to ring out in unison!

Prayer wheels spun of their own accord, chimes shuddered and clinked with divine harmony, and even the stone statues of the Buddhas began to vibrate and emit faint hums.

GONG! GONG! GONG!

The tranquil temple, known for its unshakable stillness, erupted in a rapturous uproar of divine resonance.

”This…” the Abbot finally whispered, his breath caught in his throat.

”The call of the bells…”

”The dance of the prayer wheels…”

”The resonance of the Buddhas…”

All of it had happened before—but never on this scale. Not even during the Abbotʼs own moment of awakening.

CHIME

Then, amidst the majestic cacophony, a calming tune began to rise.

It was a melody so tranquil, so divine, that all turmoil vanished. Like snow melting under springʼs warmth, doubt and sorrow lifted from every soul.

Even the weight that hours of meditation had failed to shift began to evaporate.

The melody wasnʼt foreign. The Abbot and the elders recognized it at once. So too did several senior monks, and even a few of the juniors.

”Isnʼt this…”

A golden radiance erupted from Lin Muʼs body, lighting the hall in a soft, divine glow. His aura now visible, it swirled like celestial winds, dancing to the tune that played as if summoned by Heaven itself.

”The Tune of the Buddhist Dao!” the Abbot declared, voice rich with awe.

Every eye in the temple widened in reverent disbelief.

This was not merely a breakthrough.

It was an epiphany that engulfed the entire temple.

One by one, the monks—elders, seniors, and juniors—fell into a deep trance. Even the seasoned elders found it difficult to resist as their thoughts were lulled into stillness.

The Abbot alone held out for several more minutes. But even he, eventually, gave in.

ʼSuch an opportunity may never come again…ʼ he thought, surrendering himself to the flow.

In their trance, each monk was blessed with a unique experience. A personal revelation.

”Silence thy heart, cast aside illusion, and walk the path of wisdom toward the undying peace of Nirvana.”

An elder heard this voice echo through his soul.

”Breathe with the world, still the ripples of thought, and let the quiet truth guide you to everlasting tranquility.”

A junior monk, fresh to the temple, received this revelation.

”Temper thy spirit in stillness, for not all battles are fought with blades. Master the storm within, and none shall shake thee.”

A reformed warrior-turned-monk heard this sacred guidance.

”In stillness lies clarity; in clarity, truth. Free thy heart from desire, and the world shall cease its sorrow.”

This was whispered to a senior monk who had lost everything dear.

”Still your heart, let go of pain, and find peace in every breath.”

This was heard by Monk Hushu, seated not far from Lin Mu.

Even the Abbot heard a voice—a timeless one, carrying the weight of eons.

”When the heart is unmoved, the world ceases to stir. Thus shall the practitioner step beyond illusion and dwell in the eternal void of peace.”

Each voice, whether known or unknown, held sacred guidance.

And all of it came from one source—the epicenter of this spiritual phenomenon:

Lin Mu.

Still and silent.

Unaware of the cataclysmic miracle he had triggered.

Within him, the Calming Heart Sutra was progressing.

No longer at the Third Stage of Internal Resonance…

It had ascended.

The Fourth Stage: True Internal Resonance.
