Transmigrated as The Best Female Character of the Year

Suddenly, people noticed that hordes of trolls were coming to start a flame war.

The news quickly reached the admins of her official fan club.

A flood of insulting comments appeared on the social media pages for Melody Monroe’s studio and her official fan club.

The fan group chat exploded into chaos.

”@MegaAdmin, is the stuff being posted in the comments true? You need to come out and say something! They have pictures and videos, and they’re acting so certain. We don’t have any evidence, so we can’t just go fight them head-on!”

”Yeah, Admin, just give us the word. We’re not going to take this lying down.”

”This is because of the Best Supporting Actress award, isn’t it? They’re resorting to tactics like this. See? There’s no other negative news about her online, so they have to invent it! They’re just trying to start a flame war!”

”Who the hell needs evidence? This is obviously just hating for the sake of it. Let’s just flame them! Who are we afraid of?!”

”This has to be a trick from the other side, right? They’re trying to distract us so they can win.”

”Um, just saying... has anyone else noticed how adorable the kid in the pictures and videos is?”

”I noticed too! He’s so cute I could just die.”

”We’re getting off-topic, guys. So, are we going to battle or not?”

MegaAdmin: ”I’ve seen the posts online. I’m confirming with her manager right now. Everyone, don’t fall for the other side’s trap. Don’t go engage in a flame war. Just focus on voting.”

”It can’t be true, can it? Does our Melody really have a son?”

”Then who’s the father?”

MegaAdmin: ”Everyone, let’s not jump to conclusions. If... if it really is Melody’s child, I’m sure she’ll give us an explanation. I believe that our love for Melody means we have enough love and acceptance to see her through this.”

”Let’s all just focus on voting for now. A lot of what they’re posting are just rumors. For instance, the claim about her turning on her own fans? Those people were stalker fans with ill intentions. That’s already been cleared up. These people are just trying to bait us into making a scene.”

”I really don’t get what everyone’s so worked up about. All we ever see is them attacking Melody; when have we ever started a fight with anyone else? And what does the Aya Winters incident have to do with Melody? She chose to be a homewrecker and even flaunted it in front of the guy’s wife. She had it coming.”

”I second that.”

”Haven’t you all noticed? All those other fandoms have ganged up to attack Melody. And why? Because Melody is so exceptional that she scares them.”

Keith Coleman had been in the group chat the whole time, watching the fans’ reactions.

Seeing this, he was completely relieved.

The relationship between fans and a star is like that of the water and a boat: it can keep you afloat, but it can also capsize you.

In just one short hour, the situation online had already spun out of control.

’So they’ve gotten smarter this time?’

’They couldn’t use the media, so now they’re trying to weaponize the fans?’

They could control the media’s power, but the fans’ power was a different story.

So by the time Keith Coleman told Melody Monroe what was going on, the online sentiment had already escalated to calls of ”#MelodyMonroeGetOutOfShowbiz.”

Melody Monroe looked at the news online. The moment she saw that photo of Ian from Lana Sheffield’s baby’s one-month celebration, she knew things wouldn’t be simple.

”Do they just tell people to get out of showbiz for any little thing?” Melody Monroe said with a small smile.

”You can’t hide your relationship with Ian anymore,” Keith said. ”Why not just take this chance to go public with it?”

”No.” Melody Monroe shook her head. ”The issue with Jedediah Scott is unavoidable. I can afford the scandal, but Evan Fairchild can’t, and the Fairchild Family can’t. Besides, his parents are in poor health; they’re still in the hospital.”
