Villain Seduces to Rise in Status

Chapter 11: 11 - Death? Again

An hour had passed and Cale got up from his fake sleep, acting like he’d just woken.

”Is no one coming?”

He stared at Fiora lying on the bed, completely unconscious and vulnerable in a way that made him think about things he shouldn’t be thinking about.

Must be good to be carefree and let nature take its fall. Not all rich family kids have happy lives.

In his past life, some guards had stumbled across a few maids who’d heard him fighting with an assassin and the princess, but now no one had come. He thought hard about what that meant.

Fuck. Was it the maids? The ones I said to not work? Did I change my life’s plot somehow? Shit, shit.

No wait—isn’t this for the better? She doesn’t get killed, I don’t get exiled.

”Hm. Is this cold qi I’m sensing?”

He looked back at the bed.

It was Fiora—awake, staring at him like a beast, and very, very angry. Her eyes were blazing with fury.

She smashed the bed with her fist and pounced on his body with killing intent.

”Your majesty, no! Sorry, forgive me! I’ll even lick your boots! Hell, I’ll be your dog—”

Then she pulled him close, her hands gripping his shoulders.

”It’s... hot... remove my clothes,” she breathed out, her voice different now—desperate

Huff... she won’t kill me... no wait, fuck, this is more serious. She’s feeling that aphrodisiac now.

”Wait, wait... I’ll go call a doctor now,” he said, trying to get away.

She grabbed his neck right when he was getting up, and a wave of cold qi filled the entire room. His body trembled at the sheer power of it.

”Your body... isn’t hot...”

And then it happened.

A kiss—forced but just the way he liked it, probably her first real kiss. She kissed the hell out of him, sucking his tongue, and he was actually being led by her desperation.

”Ughmm~” he groaned into the kiss.

”Hmm~”

His body reacted as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, his cock bulging hard in his underwear. At least she didn’t notice it yet.

A noble walking outside, maybe slightly proficient in qi, noticed the disturbance in the air. He went near the room, suspicious.

”What’s happening inside? Isn’t young lord in?”

Serene—the maid he’d helped before—came to save the day, appearing at exactly the right moment.

”The young master... yes, he’s teaching the princess to brew tea. He is good. Totally good,”

”Ooh, both of them are in. Then it’s fine,”

Serene sighed in relief and slipped away.

While all that was happening outside, Cale was trying to resist the urge to pounce on the virgin pussy that was practically begging for him. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to—it was that she was releasing ice qi like crazy, and that would make his family jewels a one-time thing forever.

He pushed her with all his might and her body slammed hard against the wall with a sickening thud.

”Ugh, god. This... I’m never buying that again. The system seems to be my only friend now,”

She woke up this time, fully conscious, and stood up while releasing qi that made the temperature in the room drop to freezing.

Cale didn’t know that she was finally in her full senses, awake and aware.

”Come on now. How much does your body want to fuck me?” he said carelessly, not thinking.

She kicked him hard enough to send him flying across the room.

”Ughh!”

She made a thin sword-like rod out of pure ice with a gesture.

”Speak, peasant. Your last words before you die,”

”Fucked, aren’t I? For real this time,”

”So these are your last words?”

She swung the ice sword and a slash of cold qi cut through the air and the ground itself, leaving a visible mark.

He dragged his body back desperately, still hard in those underwear despite the mortal danger.

”Wait... wait a minute. Let... let me think,” he begged, scrambling backward.

What is Serene doing outside? I thought she’d save me but she lied and left. If I don’t calm this monster, leave my dick alone, I’ll be put on the guillotine. What do I do now? Oh, didn’t she say... well, others say that she somehow liked me. I don’t know if another regression will ever happen, but let’s bet on this.

He spoke sweetly, desperately trying to charm his way out of this.

”I only see this beauty and—”

Slash!

She put the sword right between his legs, close enough that he could feel the cold radiating off it.

”Disgusting. All men are the same. I thought you’d be something different,”

”I am different. Not that I can show you right now... I was trying to convey my sincerity,”

Fiora smirked coldly.

”Sincerity? You drugged me and were going to... ra... shit. How did I even trust you? I should’ve known by those talks between girls,”

”No, wait. There’s a reason for that. Your life—”

”Shut up and get ready to die,” she cut him off, raising the sword again.

Fuck. I try to save my ass once and this happens. My clumsiness is to blame for this. It would’ve been better if I’d forced myself on her. At least I could explain that. How do I explain that I know she’s going to die?

A knock came at the door suddenly.

”Shit. If anyone sees us now,”

She put the sword on his neck, pressing cold against his skin.

”Tell them everything’s fine,” Fiora commanded.

”No, wait. The room is soundproof. They can’t hear anything,”

”Tsk. I’d kill you now, but I shouldn’t make a scene when this many nobles could use it as leverage,”

What leverage? This kingdom is a goner in the next 50 years anyway.

”Dress up and act normal, or you won’t believe what happens in front of the duke,” Fiora threatened coldly.

He nodded frantically and started getting dressed.

There goes my harem. Can’t I even save my life? This woman... let me get strong. I’ll pull you out of that damn castle myself. I’ve seen and even bought way bigger castles like that just by sweeping floors in sects. Their thrown-away trash like beads and spirit stones sell like diamonds here.

He dressed and went to the door, already thinking about what to say.

Either get killed by her, or the king, or die at Rexa’s hands like the dream said. Maybe it could come true.

He opened the door.

A maid he’d never seen before stood there with a tray of tea and biscuits.

”What?”

”The madam thought you had been talking a bit long with the princess, so she sent some tea and biscuits,” the maid said, smiling sweetly.

She came in even without his permission and whispered to him quietly.

”She wanted to check how much you’ve progressed.”

”Ugh. That mother of mine,”

”But I don’t remember you,” he said, studying her face.

”I’m one of those who was recently hired,”

”Oh, the ones I said to hire,”

She threw the tray directly at him and ran toward Fiora with a blade drawn.

”No! Fuck! It’s the assassin!” he shouted, finally understanding.

Was it some maid union or something?

To his surprise, Fiora blocked the sudden attack with her ice sword, her reflexes sharp even after being unconscious moments before.

”Did one of my brothers send you?” Fiora demanded, already in combat mode.

”Can’t disclose the contractor’s identity,”

The two of them clashed—Fiora’s ice sword against the maid’s poisoned blades. The maid was fast, incredibly fast, with movements that spoke of serious training. But Fiora had raw power and cultivation that far exceeded the maid’s level.

Fiora created ice barriers that the maid had to slash through. The maid moved like liquid, flowing around each attack. Their battle was intense—two women fighting with lethal intent while Cale watched in shock.

Dammit. The immortals fight while the mortals suffer. If this goes on, I won’t even need to know why I’ll be exiled.

He ran toward the door, letting the big people do their work. But the door was jammed from the outside.

”Shit. Was it that assassin?” he muttered, pulling at the handle.

”I only asked to add more staff yesterday,”

He hid behind a lamp, completely aware that it would do absolutely nothing if either of them came for him.

Is Fiora winning? Wait, even if Fiora wins, she’ll kill me. And if the maid wins, she’ll silence me. Even if both of them kill themselves, the first person who comes in will pin it on me. Aren’t I fucked here?

Daggers started floating in the air—pure qi manipulation. The maid used them to continuously cut Fiora’s body, leaving thin lines of blood. Each cut was calculated, meant to weaken her.

Fiora couldn’t even hold her sword anymore, let alone form coherent qi attacks. The maid kicked her, sending her crashing backward.

”You’re only a lamb left to slaughter,” the maid said coldly.

Only one last move was left for Fiora, and the maid knew it. The maid took out a poisoned shortsword—the real weapon—and thrust it forward with killing intent.

Stab—

Cale moved without thinking. He threw himself in front of the blade, taking it directly in his chest. Blood erupted from the wound, mixing with the poison already on the blade.

”... you... you...” the maid groaned, her eyes wide with shock.

Cale coughed blood, his mouth crimson.

Well. This seems to be the only way. Either die, or live and get a +1 in harem.

He smiled despite the pain, blood dripping from his lips.

”Well... can’t let you die a second time now, can I?” he said, hinting her to the maid with one bloody hand.

She didn’t wait. Fiora slashed the maid once, twice, multiple times over as if taking out her rage and confusion and everything else in one violent burst. The maid fell, dead before she hit the ground.

”So you didn’t hire them,” Fiora said, staring at him lying on the ground with a half-sword in his chest.

Cale was struggling to breathe, blood pooling beneath him.

”You could’ve run. Why did you come ahead?”

”You did... say... to ask... you out openly...” he managed to say, each word difficult.

She stared at him without speaking.

”So... am I... looking more like... a man rather than... some slave?”

Fiora trembled, her hands shaking.

”You idiot. You’re going to die in some time. At least say something meaningful,”

”Meaningful... huh?” He lifted his hand slowly and cupped her face, his bloody hand staining her cheek.

”This... so-called... slave... seems to have been liking... someone he never knew,” he whispered.

She stared at him, trembling, unable to speak.

His hand fell slowly, his breath going silent.

His eyes opened to darkness once again.

Just darkness.
