The 99th Divorce

Just in the place where Su Qianci could not see, his old eyes flashed calculating light. The old man sighed and said, “I asked him to meet at noon tomorrow, in this place.” He took a note from under the pillow.

Su Qianci took it and found the address to be a western restaurant. The seat number and time were written on it. 12:30 pm. After she promised the old man, she went back to her bedroom and set an alarm clock at 12 noon as a reminder. However, when she was showering, she felt that she was confused. This scene seemed to be similar. Just, when had she experienced this? There seemed to be a familiar picture flashing in Su Qianci’s mind, but she could not lock it down.

After showering, she dried her hair and fell asleep. The next day, she was busy all morning and thought of this matter only when the alarm went off. Stretching, Su Qianci asked the secretary to wrap the pocket watch up, took the opportunity to go to the bathroom, used her BB cream to cover the mark on her neck up, let her hair down, and went to the agreed spot with the pocket watch to meet the grandson of the old comrade.

The distance was closer than expected, and Su Qianci was ten minutes early. When she got to the seat, she ordered herself a glass of juice and sat down. About seven or eight minutes later, when she was bored and drinking juice, she saw a blue figure coming over. This figure looked tall and a little thin. Fair skin, rimless glasses, blue checked suit. Looking handsome, he was talking to the waiter.

Su Qianci saw this figure and felt a little surprised. Lu Yihan? How was he here? Lu Yihan seemed to feel her gaze too. He turned around and Su Qianci immediately covered her face with the menu, feeling bitter.

Dammit… was her luck so bad? How could she meet Lu Yihan like this? What was even more unexpected was that Lu Yihan was led by the waiter in the direction of Su Qianci.

“This is the A2 seat, please sit down.”

“Thank you.” Lu Yihan sat down and politely smiled at the waiter.

Su Qianci put down the manu and was annoyed. She asked, “How are you here?”

Lu Yihan was a little surprised and said, “Grandpa said that you have something to give to me, so that I must come. Didn’t you ask me out?”

Su Qianci said nothing, staring at him. Geez, she was tricked by Grandpa again! She leaned against the back of the chair helplessly, throwing the menu away and touching her forehead.

Lu Yihan saw her reaction and guessed it. Unconsciously licking his lips, Lu Yihan took the menu and asked, “Shall I order for you?”

Su Qianci took a deep breath, “Yihan…”

“We’ll have two vegetable salad, two sirloin steak, and two black truffle mushroom soup. oh, and a strawberry ice cream.”

“Excellent, sir.”

“Is there anything else to add?” Lu Yihan looked at her and asked.

Su Qianci took a sip of juice and shook her head.
