Hogwarts: Even Voldemort Can't Stop Me From Studying

Vid’s gaze slightly lowered, his fingertips gently stroking the edge of the cup, thinking of such a scene, a smile appeared in his eyes:

”He would probably say... ’The children chose the path of bravery themselves,’ right?”

”Hahahaha...”

Ms. Picquery laughed heartily: ”Exactly, exactly, that’s what he would say! Vid, you really know him!”

At that moment, there was a gentle knock on the study door, and the butler quickly walked towards the entrance.

At that moment, Vid noticed Ms. Picquery’s brows slightly furrowed, her expression faintly showing some displeasure.

Vid looked towards the door, only to see a maid standing there with a few exquisite snacks, and the butler received them. Just as he turned around, a corner of a black robe appeared at the edge of the door, with particularly impressive silver buttons.

That style and pattern...

Vid also furrowed his brows.

He remembered the two people who were constantly lingering around Ms. Picquery during the Alchemy Competition.

Vid looked at Ms. Picquery with inquiry in his eyes. But Ms. Picquery slightly shook her head, indicating that he should not ask more.

When the butler put down the snacks, Ms. Picquery patted the book in her hand and said: ”Regarding your book... Oh, yes, the teaching methods you provide to those students, I also have a few questions to ask...”

She looked at Vid’s expression, smiled, and changed her wording, then opened a page with a bookmark and said:

”For example, the concept of an emotional anchor point... It’s very ingenious. It’s just like how you use the equivalent exchange in Alchemy to explain Transfiguration Technique; it’s very enlightening for students who are just exposed to Magic and can guide them to get into the state faster.”

”But if the anchor point itself is destroyed or the connection is distorted, will it affect the spellcaster in reverse? You know, many Dark Wizards were not born evil; it’s just that they placed their emotions on some wrong targets, leading them astray step by step...”

Vid had naturally considered similar issues, and he calmly said:

”So, when there’s no emotional anchor point established, will a Dark Wizard not emerge? On the contrary, people often get lost because they forget the way they came.”

”Therefore, establishing this anchor point at a young age is more advantageous because young people’s thoughts are purer and simpler...”

The two discussed the content in the book, and Ms. Picquery guided Vid layer by layer to elaborate and organize his own theories, patching up the loopholes within;

While Vid quickly immersed himself in it, focused on pondering, earnestly responding to every question, continuously correcting some things he had casually said in the past, combining the way of learning magic spells with the essential nature of Magic.

In the thick learning atmosphere, the two’s interest in talking grew stronger, and the topics became more profound.

The butler standing aside listened to their conversation, the sharpness in his eyes gradually filled with a kind of clear stupidity and bewilderment; while the two guards outside the door seemed to be listening to a lullaby, couldn’t help but yawn again and again, then used the back of their hands to wipe away the tears that involuntarily emerged from the corners of their eyes.

”Ahhhh——!!!”

Suddenly, a shrill, ear-piercing scream broke the atmosphere in the room, and the few people inside and outside the door seemed to awaken from a dream instantly, while Ms. Picquery’s face changed dramatically.

She hurriedly stood up, almost forgetting that she could use Magic, stumbling towards the door:

”Stella! Stella! What’s wrong?!”

Immediately after, a black-haired girl burst through the door, diving into Ms. Picquery’s embrace, her right hand tightly clutching her left arm, glaring red blood seeping through her fingers, dripping a trail on the carpet.

”Bad dog! Amy is a bad dog!” she screamed with a crying tone: ”That heartless beast! It bit open the cage and scratched me! Aunt Seraphina, you have to avenge me!”

——Aunt?

Vid looked at the black-haired girl in some surprise, a bit astonished at the huge age difference between her father and Ms. Picquery... Of course, perhaps there was a big age difference between the girl and her father...

Hearing it was just a dog scratch, Ms. Picquery breathed a sigh of relief, holding her arm and looking at it carefully, then furrowing her brow.

”The wound is too deep, it can easily leave a scar, you must remember to apply Scar Remover in the coming weeks.”

She drew out her Magic Wand, pointed at the girl’s arm wound, and chanted a Healing Spell softly. The long wound began to heal at a visible pace, but a bright red, ghastly scar could still be seen on her skin.

The black-haired girl Stella sobbed, feeling both pain and anger, her body trembling slightly.

Seeing the butler and the others were just watching the two of them, without any extra actions, she instantly pointed at them, shouting:

”What are you standing there for?! Go find it for me! Send everyone out, find Amy immediately! If you can’t find Amy, then don’t come back at all! I’ll have Uncle Ezra kick you all out!”

Her finger almost pointed at the butler’s nose, her unreasonable and rude manner caused the few people to frown slightly.

But facing a little girl who seemed to have lost her composure after being injured, the few could only silently curse their bad luck.

They exchanged looks with each other, then glanced at Ms. Picquery, who was focused on healing. Under Stella’s fierce gaze and urging voice, they quickly dispersed, starting to search within the mansion.

An aggressive magical creature out of control is indeed an urgent matter that needs to be dealt with immediately.
