Hogwarts: Even Voldemort Can't Stop Me From Studying

Chapter 460: Chapter 132: Abigail of Cheetah House (Part 2)

After listening to him, Professor Abigail paused for a moment, then smiled and said: ”Happy holidays, Vid.”

”Happy holidays to you too, Professor.”

...

The train slowly arrived at King’s Cross Station, which was already crowded.

Even though the parents had been informed through the Friendship Book that the train had turned danger to safety, they still rushed to the station, anxiously waiting.

”Anthony, darling, are you okay?”

”Miles... Miles... Has anyone seen Miles Bletchley?”

”Ginny, my baby, let me see how you are?”

The train hadn’t come to a complete stop, but the parents on the platform were already calling out, desperately trying to find their children in the crowd.

As soon as the train doors opened, the students rushed out, running towards their respective parents, and some buried themselves in their mother’s arms, crying loudly.

Vid also spotted his father in the crowd, standing close to the tracks, tiptoeing and eagerly looking into the train.

Suddenly, he saw Vid walking over, dragging his suitcase, and his gaze frozen.

The man’s lips trembled slightly, wanting to call his name but unable to make a sound. He took two steps forward, his knees buckling, almost falling.

Vid instinctively swayed and was already in front of his father, opening his arms and hugging him.

”Dad, don’t worry, I’m fine.”

Vid said steadily.

He felt his father’s body trembling slightly, then forcefully hugged him back, the strength as if afraid he would fly away from his spot.

Behind him, Harry, dragging his suitcase slower by two steps, watched envyingly at the father and son, while Michael squinted.

If it wasn’t his illusion... Did Vid just Apparate?

——When did this guy learn such difficult magic?

Michael immediately looked around nervously, afraid someone would see this moment, since Apparating without permission was illegal.

Of course, the punishment for such behavior wasn’t severe, usually just a fine.

Fortunately, everyone around was immersed in joy and fear, with no shortage of crying students and angrily shouting parents, and no one noticed Vid’s Apparition, not even the explosive sound drew attention.

Because quite a few parents directly Apparated away from the station with their children, and some senior students bragged about using this method to go home.

”As long as you’re okay... Thank goodness you’re okay... I only heard about the train being attacked after I arrived at the station...”

Ferdinand’s voice said hoarsely.

”It was just a group of hungry Dementors,” Vid deliberately understated, ”They are under the Ministry of Magic’s control, dare not do anything to us, at most just suck away some happy emotions.”

Ferdinand shook his head, his heart lingering in fear.

He wasn’t the type of Muggle parent who knew nothing about the Magic World, aware of how dangerous and uncontrollable Dementors can be.

Not far away, the Grangers were quickly calmed by Hermione, reassuringly laughing and saying: ”Haha, so that’s it... Your mom and I thought you were in trouble!”

”Even the Ministry of Magic’s employees can’t casually intercept students’ trains!” Mrs. Granger complained, ”Such behavior is too barbaric!”

”Alright, alright, I said it’s fine!” Hermione held onto her parents’ arms and walked them out of the station: ”Let’s go quickly, I’m starving!”

She walked a few steps, turned back and waved to her friends.

The sound over there made Vid and his father silent for a while. Subsequently, Vid stepped aside and introduced the two behind him to his father:

”Dad, these are my friends—Harry Potter, Michael Corner. Harry, Michael, this is my dad.”

”Hello, kids.” Ferdinand finally smiled, reached out his hand, and said: ”I’m Ferdinand Gray.”

”Hello, Mr. Gray!”

Harry nervously shook his hand, finding the opposite person’s fingers cold as ice.

He couldn’t help but glance at Vid again, very envious of this feeling of being cared for and worried by one’s parents.

Michael followed suit, shaking hands and smilingly saying: ”Hello, Mr. Gray, thank you very much for your invitation. By the way—this coat looks amazing!”

”Thank you, Michael, and Harry, Vid has mentioned you both to me many times.” Ferdinand said with a smile.

”Excuse me, everyone, would you mind if I do a quick interview?”

A suddenly enthusiastic to the point of flamboyant voice came from the side, Vid turned his head, finding a journalist.

He was wearing glasses and looked very young, dressed in a dark gray vest with many pockets, seemingly carrying quite a bit of gear with him, with the vest adorned with the large uppercase letters FMC.

Vid knew that FMC was a news media company founded by Machioni, called ”Flowing Mirror Corporation,” which Machioni had mentioned several times in his letters, saying it was developing very well.

Of course, since Vid was always engaged in Hogwarts’s closed-off teaching, he didn’t have a real sense of this development.

At this moment, he noticed this journalist’s attire was almost indistinguishable from Muggle journalists, with dark circles on his face, the only difference being that he didn’t carry a camera, just had a small blue bird perched on his shoulder.

This little bird was the Mother Mirror of Flow Mirror, which was the Ministry of Magic’s camera.

The journalist spotted Harry Potter, his eyes immediately lighting up, squeezed over more enthusiastically, saying: ”Is it Mr. Potter? Mr. Potter, could you tell us about the train attack?”

”What?” Harry blankly hesitated for a moment, awkwardly said: ”I... I’m not quite sure...”

Vid reached out to block the journalist, saying: ”Sorry, we’re not convenient to accept interviews, and I hope our names don’t appear on Flow Mirror.”

The journalist frowned and asked: ”May I know who you are...”

”Vid Gray,” Vid said.

”Ah... Mr. Gray...”

The journalist opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but seeing Vid’s calm gaze, he gave up.

With many interviews under his belt, he could clearly distinguish from a person’s eyes who was easy to squeeze for information like a soft persimmon, and who was resolute and wouldn’t be swayed.

”Alright, although it’s a bit of a pity...” The journalist tapped his notebook with his pen tip and said cheerfully: ”Happy holidays to you all! Hopefully next time we can get an interview opportunity.”

Afterwards, he turned decisively to his next target.

”Hello, I’m a reporter from Flow Mirror Media, would you mind if I do a quick interview with you?”

This time, he happened to block Percy Weasley.

Upon hearing ”reporter,” the young man’s eyes instantly lit up, his face quickly turning as red as his hair. He tidied his clothes, squeezed out a smile, and said in a slightly trembling voice:

”Of course.”

Not far away, Mrs. Weasley was still comforting her little daughter, oblivious that her third son was being interviewed, with Ron next to her complaining his mother wasn’t concerned enough about him.

However, the twins immediately noticed this situation, raising their eyebrows and bad grinning, silently mimicking Percy talking.

”Let’s go,” Vid said.

The group pushed their luggage cart towards the Magic Wall, with only three or four people ahead of them in line.

Beside them, a ticket inspector holding a pocket watch occasionally checking the time, letting people through one by one, preventing a large crowd from rushing out at the same time, so that Muggles wouldn’t spot anything unusual no matter how dull they were.

Soon, the people ahead all left.

”It’s your turn, be cautious, don’t...”

The ticket inspector said mechanically, glancing up to check if they were doing anything out of place, pausing in shock upon seeing Harry.

Everyone was used to this kind of situation, pushing the trolley, bowing their heads, swiftly passing through the wall, entering the Muggle world.
