Invincibility Begins with a Super Fairy Manny

Chapter 2667: Chapter 2668: Zombies?

So without any hesitation, he rushed forward, wanting to restrain this security guard first, and then quickly lead him away from this place.

But just then, screams erupted across the plaza, filled with infinite terror.

Fei Bai was stunned.

Even though this security guard was terrifying, it wasn’t possible for everyone in the plaza to know about it so quickly.

Could something else have happened?

Thinking of this, Fei Bai turned his head to look, and the scene he saw immediately caused his pupils to shrink to the size of needlepoints.

He saw numerous security guards dressed in uniforms rushing out from every corner of the plaza.

Some of these guards wore hats, others didn’t, but all acted like robots with terrifying gestures.

The crowd began to panic, and the panic reached a climax when a security guard brutally tore a screaming woman in front of him into two pieces.

People began to scatter and flee, screams and cries echoed to the sky, instantly turning this bustling plaza into a hell on earth.

Seeing this, Fei Bai became extremely anxious, especially worrying about his sister’s safety, so he no longer suppressed his abilities and flew up into the air, leaping above the plaza.

”Qing Qing!”

He shouted, while his Sword Intent slashed repeatedly, each strike taking down a security guard.

”It’s the Sword Cultivator!”

”Master Sword Cultivator, please save me, I don’t want to die!”

Crying and pleading voices merged into one.

Si Qingqing, who was originally waiting in line at the milk tea shop, also noticed the anomaly immediately, but instead of panicking, she calmly pushed the people around her into the shop.

Most of the people in line were girls, all of whom were now frightened into painful cries, making the shop extremely chaotic.

Si Qingqing didn’t bother with much else, directly pulled out the trembling store manager, and shouted in his ear, ”Quickly, lower the shutter door!”

The manager woke up as if from a dream and immediately began pulling down the heavy shutter door.

As the shutter door slowly descended, the people inside seemed to see hope.

But just then, a security guard suddenly appeared from the side and struck the manager.

Thud!

A sharp blade stabbed out from the back of the manager’s head, and then his corpse collapsed to the ground.

Seeing this, there was another fit of hysterical screams inside the milk tea shop, causing many girls to faint from fright.

Only Si Qingqing remained calm, grabbing a nearby fire extinguisher and rushed forward.

After killing the manager, the security guard was about to bend down and enter the shop, when Si Qingqing rushed close and swung the extinguisher at him.

Si Qingqing put all her strength into the strike; although she didn’t have her brother Fei Bai’s abilities, years of exposure had made her far more powerful than an ordinary person.

With a bang.

The security guard was knocked flying back, and as he fell to the ground, his limbs twisted at eerie angles, trying to crawl up.

Seeing this, Si Qingqing threw away the mashed fire extinguisher, rolled out of the milk tea shop, and pulled down the shutter door behind her, saying dismissively.

”Mechanical dog, huh! If you have the guts, come here!”

By now, the security guard had climbed back up; although he had been hit and had several ribs broken, he seemed devoid of pain as he lunged forward again.

Si Qingqing showed no fear, grabbing a mop by the milk tea shop, waved it in her hand, and charged forward.

But before she could reach the guard, a streak of Sword Intent arrived first, slicing through the guard’s neck.

Thud!

The head flew off, blood spurting everywhere.

Then Fei Bai appeared in front of Si Qingqing, his face filled with tension as he asked, ”How are you? Are you okay? Why didn’t I see you earlier?”

Si Qingqing seemed to have anticipated this, tossing the mop aside and smiled, ”Don’t worry, who am I, your sister? How could I be in trouble? Earlier I was locking those foolish women who only know how to scream into the milk tea shop!”

Even so, Fei Bai still seriously scrutinized his sister, only letting out a breath after confirming she was indeed unharmed.

”It’s good that you’re okay, it’s good.”

Si Qingqing kicked the dead security guard’s corpse on the ground and said solemnly, ”Brother, what’s going on? Why did the security guards suddenly go crazy?”

Fei Bai shook his head, ”I don’t know either, but it’s very dangerous here. We need to leave quickly!”

At this point, all the security guards in the plaza had been killed by Fei Bai, and the shocked people had yet to regain their composure, especially those whose companions or relatives had died in the earlier chaos, they were standing dazed as if they couldn’t believe it was real.

The air around the plaza was filled with a nauseating scent of blood, with some quietly sobbing.

Fei Bai’s face turned grim as he grabbed his sister’s hand and dashed out of the plaza at a rapid pace.

But when they reached the outside world, the scene in front of them left both stunned.

The once prosperous Zhongdu City was now in ruins, distant buildings burned with fierce flames, and vehicles on the street were twisted and jammed together.

Traffic had completely collapsed, explosions echoed incessantly.

Corpses littered the streets, and although Fei Bai and his sister had come out, the slaughter continued.

Numerous people dressed in security uniforms were relentlessly chasing unarmed civilians.

Regardless of whether these civilians were men or women, elderly or children, the blades in the guards’ hands showed no signs of stopping.

The screams and cries mixed together were heart-wrenching to hear.

Si Qingqing was also scared stiff, trembling as she asked, ”Brother, what’s happening?”

Fei Bai’s face was solemn, ”Not sure, but certainly, something major occurred that we don’t know of yet!”

As he spoke, he pulled out his phone to contact the Fire Phoenix Squad, only to find it had no signal.

Just then, terrifying screams erupted once more from the plaza behind them.

”Ahhh, how can this be?”

”The dead are resurrecting!”

Upon hearing these shouts, the siblings immediately ran back, only to be petrified themselves.

They saw that the corpses that had been lying on the ground were now wobbling up and launching indiscriminate attacks on those around.

”Is it zombies?” Having seen a few popular horror movies, combined with these corpses’ movements resembling legendary zombies, Si Qingqing couldn’t help but muttered tremulously.

Fei Bai didn’t reply, instead quickly rushing to a dead body, kicking it down.

But the corpse showed no pain; despite having its spine broken, it continued crawling, trying to attack Fei Bai.

Only when Fei Bai kicked its brain apart did the corpse reluctantly cease all movement.
