4415 Duan Ling Tian’s Plan

“He did not suffer when he died,” Duan Ling Tian said with a sigh to Wang Luo Yu, “You were the only one he worried about before his death. His wish was for you to be free, and he entrusted me with this matter at that time even though he was not sure if I’d be able to escape from that supreme powerhouse. After I escaped, I searched for you and came to Blue Dawn City. After learning about your current situation, I decided to join the Wang clan and bring you away from Blue Dawn City. After that, I’ll look for a place for you to settle down where the Wang clan won’t be able to find you.”

Wang Luo Yu nodded slightly. Tears streamed down her cheeks again when she recalled that her brother was gone.

Duan Ling Tian continued to say, “I hope you’ll cooperate with me to fulfill your brother’s wish… I’ll arrange for us to leave the Wang clan.”

Duan Ling Tian did not have time to pity Wang Luo Yu. After all, he was trying to think of a plan for them to leave the Wang clan. The Supreme Elder of the Wang clan had high regard for him due to his high innate talent and comprehension skills, which revealed his great potential in becoming a supreme powerhouse in the future. As such, the supreme elder was very kind to Duan Ling Tian, hoping to ally with Duan Ling Tian through an arranged marriage. However, he knew the supreme elder’s attitude would change once the supreme elder found out that he was only here to bring Wang Luo Yu away. After all, he was not yet a supreme

!! “Rest assured, Brother Duan,” Wang Luo Yu said solemnly, “I won’t let my brother down. I’ll listen to your instructions.”

“That’s good,” Duan Ling Tian said with a smile. Things would be easier if Wang Luo Yu cooperated with him. After a moment, he reminded her, “Do not tell anyone about this. Not a single person can know that my name isn’t Li Feng.”

“Don’t worry, Brother Duan. I understand,” Wang Luo Yun hastily said as she nodded. She trusted Duan Ling Tian completely. After all, he could have easily ignored her brother’s final wish. No one could hold him accountable, and there was no witness when he gave his promise to her brother. However, he chose to fulfill her brother’s final wish. This was enough to prove that he was a trustworthy man.

Duan Ling Tian nodded and said, “We’ll pretend like we have feelings for each other in front of the others, and I’ll ask for your hand in marriage from the clan. After that, we have two options. One, we can leave Blue Dawn City before the marriage takes place. Two, we’ll continue with the show, and you’ll be married to Li Feng, which is my fake identity. There aren’t many risks with the first option, but it’ll sever all your ties to the Wang clan. There’s no risk with the second option since we can leave the clan under the pretext of going on our honeymoon. The Wang clan won’t suspect anything.” After a beat, he added, “I’ll cooperate with you regardless of which option you choose.”

In the end, Duan Ling Tian let Wang Luo Yu make the decision.

After a few moments, Wang Luo Yu said, “Brother Duan, let’s put on a show and leave the Wang clan naturally. I don’t want those who care for me in the clan to be worried…”

“Alright, we’ll go with the second option then,” Duan Ling Tian said with a smile, “I’ll send you out now. You’re just as smart as your brother so I trust you know what to do later…”

Duan Ling Tian rose to his feet and sent Wang Luo Yu out of his courtyard. Earlier, he had cast a noise-canceling Formation so no one could eavesdrop on their conversation. With his current strength, it would be impossible even for the Clan Leader and the two Supreme Elders of the Wang clan to bypass his Formation and eavesdrop on them.

…

Wang Kui, the Clan Leader of the Wang clan, smiled when he saw Duan Ling Tian and Wang Luo Yu getting along as they walked out of the courtyard.

As for Wang Ming, he felt relieved when he saw Wang Luo Yu’s shy expression when she lowered her head. It was obvious to him that she liked Duan Ling Tian.

Duan Ling Tian looked at Wang Luo Yu and said tenderly, “Why don’t you follow Elder Wang Ming back first… There’s something I need to discuss with Clan Leader Wang.”

Wang Luo Yu nodded slightly and replied, “Alright, Brother Li.”

After that, Wang Luo Yu walked toward Wang Ming with a bashful expression on her face.

After Wang Luo Yu left with Wang Ming, Duan Ling Tian looked at Wang Kui and said seriously, “Clan Leader Wang, I’d like to ask for her hand in marriage. If possible, I’d like to marry her in a month. Please send the invitations out to everyone connected with the Wang clan. I want the wedding to be as grand as possible. Meanwhile, I’d like to be an interim elder of the clan…”

Wang Kui was slightly surprised at how eager Duan Ling Tian was to marry Wang Luo Yu. However, when he recalled Wang Luo Yu’s bashful expression earlier, he thought that the duo must have liked each other. His smile widened as he said, “Young Master Li, you can count on me! The Wang clan will plan a grand wedding for you and Luo Yu in a month! Congratulations!”

Wang Kui was naturally overjoyed that Duan Ling Tian, who was almost comparable to a peerless top advanced Supreme God, would become part of the Wang clan soon. Someone with Duan Ling Tian’s talent and was not even 10,000 years of age was unprecedented in the history of the Divine Sand Realm after all.

‘Our clan will be in the spotlight soon because of this wedding! I must invite all the supreme powerhouses who were friends with our ancestor as well… Even if only one of them attends the wedding, it’ll be an honor. It won’t take long for our clan to return to its former glory with such a monstrous prodigy as our interim elder…’ Wang Kui thought to himself excitedly.

…

When Wang Luo Yu returned to her courtyard, she smiled broadly when she saw Ye Qiang Wei. She said, “Sister Qiang Wei, you should stay a little longer. I’ll be marrying Brother Li Feng in a month. I believe Uncle Ye will be attending our wedding as well. Why don’t you return with Uncle Ye after our wedding?”

Ye Qiang Wei looked at Wang Luo Yu in confusion after hearing these words. She asked, “Sister Luo Yu, what… what happened?”

Ye Qiang Wei could not figure out what happened to have led to such a drastic change in Wang Luo Yu’s attitude.
