”The update seems very harsh to Summoners. We are basically told to grind your monsters unless you want to become obsolete. At least the developers are merciful and made sure that all Summoners that get to level 300 will no longer ration their experience points for their monsters. There might be increases in power leveling for summoners in this case.” Adrian grumbled as all of them were gathered in a virtual space once again as they are waiting for the servers to open.

”Why are you grumbling about? I think the Summoners got the best part about balancing.” Peridot stated.

”Jade... you must not judge your Summoner Standards to the summoners in our guild. All of the summoners in our guild are not the norm because they are the exemption. Have you seen the Summoner Leaderboards? The Rank 100 is still only level 301 which means the rest are suffering.” Levin Cloud explained.

The summoners in Pantheon Guild are not even the Level Leaderboard as they tend to stay lowkey but all of them are above level 350. The average summoner player in Pandemonium is below level 300 as most have difficulty balancing soulbounds on top of that. Some summoners also tend to be casual and just want to raise pets hence the lower-level ceiling.

”I guess the Summoner Forums’ relentless bombarding of the developers finally had an effect.” Lycan added.

”They made it easy because everything will now go into hard mode. The descent of the gods is an event that can change the flow of the world. Will the gods return back to glory and become the absolute leaders of humanity? Or will humanity evolve to a civilization that lives with gods on their side?” Vayu stated as this is what he could understand based on the patch notes that are given.

”It is not just the gods that we need to be wary about. The new monsters stated there means Divine Beasts are now in the world roaming about. A Lesser God tier Divine Beast roaming about is a disaster for a kingdom.” Adrian stated which made all of them freeze up because what he says has merit.

Just the term Divine Beasts already makes mortal tremble and Adrian just had to add the roaming to it. This means that the territories of the world are not safe for most of the time. There are divine beasts that like to find territory but there are a lot that like to roam around as well. The situation of the main world would truly become chaotic if there are no demigods or divine beings backing them.

”What I am most curious about is the Ascension System because it has harsh punishments if you were to fail.” Frey stated.

”That is actually quite mild based on where I am from. The stories of Immortals that try to ascend to godhood and failing actually costs them their life. The fact that only a few stars are lost is very generous when they could just slap you back down to a one-star demigod upon failure.” Creepysoo stated as the cultivation novels he read would always end in the death of a failed cultivator.

”I agree with his assessment as well as they placed a cap of 5 stars for those that fail more than five times. This meant that ascending to a Lesser God is more difficult than we might think.” Kabrakan added.

”I am still salty about the soulbounds needing a separate system for them to become divine beings.” Adrian added which made all of them laugh as this meant that each soulbound would need different quests to obtain divinity.

”I guess this means that there are now legitimate divine beasts and not just called that because of their race. At least, you can now summon four soulbounds to fight instead of three. This update is really helping the summoners catch up to all of the players because of their sharp difficulty.” Solstice or Mina added.

[All of Pandemonium Servers are now up.]

[You can now log back into the game to continue your progress.]

As they were all discussing, the notification in their holoswatch has beeped. The servers for the game have now become up and running. All of the players that were waiting started to vanish from their discussion forums as all of them are now logging back into Pandemonium. Even players that have not logged in for quite a while returned to the game because of the major update.
