Omega Summoner

The fourth floor is where there should be some challenge to the early players as all the enemies in this floor are bird monsters. The entire floor is so large and the number of bird monsters are so large that it is safe to say that there should be at least seven thousand of them. The bird monsters are different as some look like pigeons while some looked like evolved chicken monsters.

The gate that leads to the boss floor is located at the very center of the grassland dungeon area. The first to fourth floors are all made of grasslands as if to say that they are basically training grounds. The monster drops are also usually something for consumption which makes it a beginner friendly dungeon. Adrian always wanted to help the starting adventurers that has Avalon as their starting city in the main world.

”I should be able to use this as a selling point for newbies as they have been asking us to clear the powerful monsters outside Avalon every now and then.” Adrian muttered as they are now at the fifth floor which is different compared to the first and fourth floors.

If the first and fourth floors are all vast grasslands, the fifth floor is like an arena enclosed by thick prickly trees. The other floors were more for grinding levels early on but the fifth floor is legitimately a boss dungeon floor. The fifth floor’s dungeon boss is also a monster that needs quite some mode of preparation in order to defeat as it was the infamous newbie killer.

The boss monster of the dungeon was none other than enraged Cockatrice that has two of its infamous skills. The Screech skill us a sound-based skill that the rooster head uses to inflict the Confusion status ailment. The Petrifying Gaze is a skill that its snake head tail has as having it stare for more than five seconds will petrify a part of the body of the target.

The Cockatrice is very annoying because of these two skills but it also has very sturdy legs as it has wyvern-like legs that has powerful kicks. It also has wyvern like wings as well but its body is too massive for it to actually fly but it has no problem gliding. The Cockatrice is also in an enraged state which means it cannot be tamed which made Old Man Pann click his tongue as he really wanted one.

”I guess this is the end of our exploration.” Elder Ascalor stated as he destroyed the enraged Cockatric

e that charged at them with one spatial blast.

”This would be a good training ground for the children. They seem to want to learn how to fight and become stronger too because of what happened to the territory. The parents have been bothering Bronx about it but this dungeon should be a good training ground as long as they have a Daemos Corps member looking after them.” Elder Koronn stated which made Elder Ascalor nod.

Adrian did not want to stop that discussion as it was also pushed to him but he diverted it to the elders as the decision for that is not easy. Apparently, the children themselves want to at least know how to defend themselves which is why this dungeon should be fine. Adrian also agreed on the end but they should at least have one Daemos Corps member per ten children.

”Let me see what the Cockatrice dropped!” Aernas stated as he wanted to see what item can drop from the boss monster.

[You have cleared the Hollow Tree Dungeon for the first time.]

[The best reward shall be given to you as a result.]

[You have been given Cockatrice Egg (Fertilized) x1]

[You been given Cockatrice Egg (Unfertilized) x10]

[You have been given Cockatrice Meat x10]

[You have been given the Screech skill book.]

[Experience points have been greatly reduced due to the level requirement.]

[Congratulations! The Easy Difficulty for the Hollow Tree Dungeon has been completed.]

[Capri’s abilities have been improved.]

[Capri can now impose level requirements for all dungeon difficulties and have full of control the Easy difficulty dungeon.]

”Congratulations, young lord! You have cleared the Easy Difficulty dungeon! Capri also improved as a result!” Capri stated as his butler top uniform looked more expensive than before.

Capri appeared before all of them as soon as the boss monster of the dungeon has been cleared. They could also clearly feel that Capri has increased in terms of power as well. It seems that a floating island dungeon is more complicated than they thought. The fact that the guardian also increased in power per the completion of a dungeon is something they did not expect.

”Do you know what happens if we complete the Extreme Difficulty?” Adrian asked but Capri can only say that he has no idea as well.

”What are you going to do now for the dungeon?” Elder Ascalor asked Adrian as he is still the one that needs to make the ultimate decision.

”I will open it to the adventurers like me as them dying inside of the dungeon is not something dangerous as they can just be revived. For the Easy difficulty, Capri... how much influence do you have?” Adrian asked.

”I have full control of the first floor, young lord. The rest of the succeeding floors have minimal control. I can even stop them from going to the next floor if you want. I can also somewhat make the monsters on the first floor a bit more docile. For all difficulties, I can impose a level restriction which means they cannot enter if they cannot meet the criteria.” Capri replied which Adrian understood.

In the end, Adrian told Capri to have the level restriction be applied to all difficulties but the exceptions would be when the Daemos Corps bring the children for training in the easy difficulty. He also set up some safety measures for the children to make sure they do not wander to the next floor on accident. Adrian sent the territory message to make sure that everyone knows that there is a dungeon in Avalon.

[Avalon has opened the Hollow Tree Dungeon for all adventurers.]
