In This Rebirth, The Male Lead Is Mine [BL]

Rise was a loner; he preferred working alone to being in a party. It was more because the people who were assigned to him could not keep up with his rhythm. He always ended up protecting everyone instead.

They were a burden, and so Rise went ahead. Everything was on his own terms, without everyone pulling his leg and slowing him down.

”This gate was huge...” Rise looked around, his pace slow and relaxed. He even stopped to admire some exotic scenery along the way.

In fact, what he was doing was somehow weird. Strictly speaking, there was nothing in this gloomy and ruined world that was worthy of being admired.

However, his thought process was exactly odd, but he was Rise Lee, and even if people knew about this, they might say, Oh, it’s fine, because he’s Rise Lee.

Everything about him seemed to make sense as long as they knew he was Rise Lee.

Along the way, he also encountered some monsters, but they were all torn to shreds before they even came into contact with his vicinity.

”Ah, if I recall, this is not just a gate,” Rise murmured to himself. ”Another world.”

Heh, interesting, but... It was somehow boring.

Rise truly thinks so. The ruins caught his curiosity, but other than that, everything seemed lackluster.

”Haah, probably because it’s been a year since this gate has been explored.” Rise shook his head in disappointment.

This was a gate that had been a center of controversy, but as the year passed, it had also become an important gate. The development inside was stable, and so the excitement had already died down.

”If only I was here and joined with that war.” Rise was so upset when he heard the news and found out he was unable to participate in such a thrilling event.

”Damn!” Rise shouted, the monsters that were about to charge him were startled, and without any more thoughts with their dumb heads, they all ran and escaped.

”That fucker, he did not inform me.” He was talking about the Union Director. His gaze became deep. ”If he pissed off me some more, I’ll leak his scandals.”

If the Union Director were here, he might be already crying with all the snots in his face. It was not his fault, okay? Rise was so out of the loop, and he could not contact him! He was being blamed for no reason again.

”Whatever.” It was already a year, so there was no use in being so whiny about it. Rise continued aimlessly, he was not even looking at the plan or map that was given to them.

Not like the Union was hoping for Rise to follow the rules or their plan. They just let him be.

Perhaps, he could enter some gate here as well. Since this was a world that was invaded by those creatures, they could also enter the gate here.

Rise’s eyes lit up for some reason when thinking about this. The thought of entering gates inside the gate carried an exciting feel to it.

”Where should I go?” Rise finally took out the map provided to him. His gaze looked for the possible gate he could enter. It had to be exciting as well.

He clicked on one location, and soon he finally decided.

”This gate then!”

Rise was a decisive individual as much as he was impulsive. Since he already decided it, he trailed the route, and a few hours later, he arrived at the destination.

However... Something seemed to be a bit different.

”Am I in the right place?” Rise looked around. Well, it was still ruins, but, where was the gate?

Yes, that was the question. There were not any gates here!

Rise clicked his tongue and looked at the map again. It was also no ordinary map as it was also a locator. His position was marked red, indicating that there was indeed a dangerous gate here before.

So, what happened? Rise could not understand. It was also that unranked gate according to the ranking system of this world. Unranked gates did not mean they were already dangerous, but they had a higher chance of being one.

From time to time, this kind of gate would pop up, and before being explored, they were called unranked. Gates here did not seem to be perfectly similar to the ones in their world.

At least, gates here could not be measured and do not emit mana. similar to unregistered gates, but each of them here was like that.

Maybe, this was also one of their advantages over this world.

Could it be someone already cleared it?

”What shit luck.” Rise cursed in annoyance; his feet stepped forward and looked around. Maybe the gate entrance was different? It was a low chance, but it was free to confirm.

”No parties.” Rise was confident because of it. He had not seen any parties around. Or maybe they already cleared it and left? However, the map should already be updated if they have already done so.

”Those idiots. I’ll make them pay if they already forgot and make me waste my time.” Rise’s temper flared up again.

As he was wandering around, there were really no signs of life at all. Or even gates, so...

Rise almost crashed the map in his hand in anger. That was until...

He paused, his gaze focusing in one direction.

What was that? A hand? Maybe someone died?

Rise was never afraid of corpses, so he approached them. It was not difficult to move the obstacles, and soon, the owner of that hand was revealed.

He squinted and stared firmly at this person. He did not seem to be dead, though. As the man was lying on his stomach, Rise could not see his face.

However, his uniform was not from the Union. What was it...

Rise pondered and recalled any guild uniforms he had seen. It was a bit hard since he never paid attention before. Staring at the uniform, his gaze fell on his sleeves and he saw the logo.

”Oh! Dark Crimson!” Rise exclaimed. He finally remembered; it was also a top guild, so he had the impression. However, it was not much.

He remembered the guild leader... Was it Kamille Han? Yeah, that attractive man! He had never met him in person though and also saw some pictures.

Rise crouched slightly in front of the man who was collapsed on the ground. He did not do anything and only stared.

After a few moments, as though sensing his presence, the body suddenly moved. Soon... His head moved and lifted... facing Rise.

The two stared at each other.

Crimson eyes... It was Rise’s first time seeing such a beautiful pair of eyes. As he was admiring a bit, a rough and harsh voice sounded.

”Stop staring, idiot. Help me here.”

Rise blinked and continued to stare. Wait... Was this Kamille Han?

He would have never known... He had such an attitude. He smiled at Kamille and propped his chin in his arm.

”I never thought... You’re sexier in person, Guild Leader Han.”

Rise laughed harder seeing Kamille’s frown.

Gaah, he was so... so sexy!
