Genshin Impact: Spoiling the Future

The two women blended for a moment, then bared themselves to each other for a moment. Their consciousnesses swapped bodies—that is, the Traveler successfully entered Nahida’s body.

It was precisely because of the Traveler’s entry that the Scaramouche saw Nahida’s existence.

Don’t forget, earlier the Traveler had just connected to the Scaramouche’s consciousness. Afterward, the Traveler swapped consciousnesses with Nahida, and only then was she seen by the Scaramouche.

It’s a bit complicated, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t understand—it can simply be said that the Traveler is a relay.

The consciousnesses of the Scaramouche and Nahida are both plugged into one relay, and that’s how they connected.

Or rather, the Traveler had just been implanted with the ’Scaramouche virus,’ so she was ’hacked,’ and Nahida was implicated along with her.

Although her position was confirmed, at least Nahida is fine. It’s just pitiful for Katheryne... who was thoroughly pierced and ruined.

If she gets pierced again now, it would be the Traveler’s turn. Fortunately, the Traveler is more durable against piercing; ordinary weapons can’t harm her.

However, Katheryne actually has no major issues either, because Katheryne isn’t afraid of body damage—this kind of thing doesn’t matter at all.

Anyway, the body was ruined by Snezhnaya, and the new body is also manufactured by Snezhnaya.

Back to the book: the Traveler is very skilled at escaping, so naturally she ran out of the Gilded Brigade’s layered encirclement.

But what the readers didn’t expect was that Tighnari appeared in the illustration.

He just appeared so refreshingly running along with the Traveler, and the readers didn’t even know when he arrived.

Fortunately, Paimon provided an explanation: it turns out the sounds of the earlier fight attracted Tighnari’s attention—his ears are too sharp.

Just now, it was also Tighnari who helped break through the Gilded Brigade’s encirclement together to escape.

Now that they’ve escaped danger, it’s time to analyze the current situation and decide the next steps.

First, chat with Tighnari, who has just joined up, about what happened earlier.

[”Tighnari said: ’Consciousness can actually be transferred so casually. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, it would be simply unbelievable... This should still not be within the realm that humans can achieve, right.’”]

Tighnari accepted it quite quickly; he even seemed to have some impulse to write a paper.

At the same time, Tighnari also told the Traveler some information—it was what Nahida said using Lumine’s body just now. She said:

[”’The Doctor has already found a way to imprison consciousness. I cannot accompany you any longer.’”]

Translating it: Nahida’s IP has been locked, and her internet has been cut off.

As mentioned before, the Traveler is contaminated with the ’Scaramouche virus.’ Upon contact, Nahida was immediately infected by the virus.

Because the ’virus’ is on the Traveler, it can be said to bypass the firewall directly, which is why Nahida went offline at lightspeed.

One can only say that if everything earlier was within the Doctor’s expectations, then his trap really is one link interlocking with another.

Fortunately, Nahida is no slouch either and began to turn the tables by going along with the Doctor’s plan. In the end, the winner of this game is still Nahida, even if it’s just a small victory.

It can’t be said that the Doctor is weak; it can only be said that there are gaps even among teammates.

Look at what team Nahida has, and then look at the Doctor’s side.

Scaramouche, the Doctor, the Grand Sage—the two of them daring to take on all of Sumeru and even bringing the Grand Sage along!

What’s the difference between this and Germany and Japan daring to bring Italy along?

Cough, let’s not talk about that. Regarding Nahida’s entrustment, there’s more to follow; it’s part of the ’plan’ later:

[”’But even on a night without the ’moon,’ a multitude of ’starlight’ is enough to pierce through the ’illusion’ and ’lies.’’”]

The readers are anxiously watching. At a time like this, don’t speak in riddles, my little Dendro God.

Paimon thinks the same: saying something like this—how can anyone understand it!

But Lumine sister understands very well why Nahida speaks this way. After all, she’s already being watched by the Doctor; if she said something simple and easy to understand, wouldn’t the Doctor understand it too?

With Lumine sister explaining it this way, the readers also suddenly realize: yeah, she has to speak in riddles.

Since it’s a riddle, it naturally needs decoding. The Doctor doesn’t know the hidden meaning, but the Traveler does.

In the previous loops of the Sabzeruz Festival, these terms had all appeared.

The ’moon’ is Nahida, ’illusion’ and ’lies’ are the Akademiya’s plan.

’Starlight’ is used to refer to Setaria; extending it, wouldn’t that be the people of the desert?

Nahida’s meaning is to let the Traveler go to the desert to seek help and together break the Akademiya’s plan?

Lumine sister seems to have understood everything and is about to head to the desert.

Seeing this segment is somewhat beyond the desert people’s expectations. They didn’t think that their side was so detrimental to the little Dendro God by helping the Akademiya, yet the little Dendro God still compares them to ’starlight.’

In fact, what ’starlight’ refers to is not just the desert; the people of the rainforest are the same.

Nahida is the ’moon,’ and to Nahida, the people of both the rainforest and desert are her people, so they are all ’starlight.’

In short: unite everything that can be united!

In the end, Nahida’s ’prophecy’ was completely realized—just that a multitude of ’starlight’ broke the Akademiya’s ’illusion’ and ’lies.’

This ’starlight’ doesn’t distinguish between rainforest or desert; it’s just that at this time, it hasn’t developed to that point yet.

Back to the story: Tighnari is a smart person. With the Traveler and Paimon’s analysis, he instantly understands who the person speaking these words is. Who else would speak like this but the little Dendro God?

In just a few sentences, Tighnari figures out everything, summarizes the intelligence, and gives his opinion.

One can only say he’s worthy of being the face of the Verdant Striders—this intelligence is indeed impeccable. From his appearance until now, he hasn’t faltered once and has always been deeply loved by everyone.

For those with a fetish for intelligent beast ears and big tails, Tighnari is the second person to perfectly meet the requirements.

Some might ask: then who is the first? The first to meet the requirements is Yae Miko, although most of the time her tail can’t be seen.

Tighnari is still very curious about the little Dendro God’s matters, but the situation is urgent right now, so Tighnari also reins in his curiosity. The paper can be written later.

Since the little Dendro God has sided with the Traveler, Tighnari is naturally willing to trust the Traveler. Isn’t it just opposing the Akademiya? Alas, you’ve really made things hard for me.

To oppose the Akademiya, first collect intelligence to figure out what the Akademiya is doing. Tighnari doesn’t know much about the Akademiya’s ’project,’ but fortunately, the Traveler saw it earlier.

The Scaramouche saw the moment she and Nahida swapped consciousnesses; in that instant, the Traveler also saw the Scaramouche.

The Akademiya is helping the Scaramouche ’become a god’! No wonder in the earlier story, the Grand Sage said ’you can all properly celebrate the birth of a god.’

It turns out the celebration the Grand Sage mentioned was for the birth of the Scaramouche as a god.

Sumeru readers are shocked and ask one after another: ’Who is the Scaramouche?’

As new readers who just started reading the prophecy book, Sumeru’s readers really don’t know who the Scaramouche is. They only know from the earlier story that this is someone from Inazuma.

At this moment, they only feel very bewildered: why help someone from Inazuma become a god? What’s the purpose? What use is there in him becoming a god? Doesn’t Sumeru already have a god?
