Genshin Impact: Spoiling the Future

Chapter One: The Fish-Loving Poet Classmate

The story follows the protagonist entering Mondstadt Academy, where their seatmate loves slacking off in class, playing the lyre, and always carrying wine. Their true identity? The school principal!

Readers found it amusing—this was clearly a modified version of the prophecy book! Shikikan, hurry up and write it, don’t just sit there!

Venti also found it entertaining. A school principal pretending to be a classmate and blending in? It really did resemble him.

Following this logic, wouldn’t the Knights of Favonius be the teaching staff?

Jean would be the deputy principal, Lisa the dean of discipline, Kaeya the PE teacher, Eula the dance instructor, and Amber the geography teacher.

But here’s the question: Are Klee and Noelle teachers or students? Is Albedo teaching art, biology, or maybe chemistry?

Oh, and Diluc—he’d be perfect as the ”cafeteria lady.” For Mondstadters, drinking and eating are equally important.

What about Dvalin? Could it really be, as Rosalyne said, the school’s pet hamster?

Because they forgot to feed it, the hamster went berserk, wreaking havoc in the school, chewing desks and chairs, only to be tamed by the principal, deputy principal, and cafeteria manager together, fed with food (blessed by the Anemo Archon).

You know what? It makes sense! Perfectly reasonable! See, the inspiration’s flowing now!

[Yae Miko’s review: ”Hmm… out of 10, I’d give it a 9.5!”]

[”You’ve completed the first chapter. Start thinking about the second chapter’s story.”]

”Not bad, not bad. Why not actually establish a Mondstadt Academy, haha!” Venti laughed heartily.

The creativity in this story was genuinely intriguing, making Venti want to see this spectacle unfold.

But it was just a thought—making him the principal? No way he could handle that. It’d probably just pile more work on Jean.

”A school with you as principal? Teaching people to drink?” Diluc said, wiping a glass.

”Hahaha, what’s wrong with that? Shouldn’t Mondstadters learn that?” Kaeya roared with laughter.

Good thing Barbara wasn’t around, or she’d definitely say, ”Mondstadters should study Lord Barbatos’ holy scriptures.”

Ahem, with the first chapter done, it’s time for the second chapter’s story.

The first chapter was about Mondstadt, so naturally, the second chapter would be about Liyue!

But the Traveler in the story hit a ”writer’s block.” While brainstorming the second chapter, her face grew grim, filled with agony, as if life wasn’t worth living! In an hour, she barely managed 200 words!!

After much thought, the Traveler finally came up with the second chapter’s story, a continuation of the first: Rock ’n’ Roll Girl!!

It tells of a new transfer student who, after resolving the ”Hamster—Great Yellow Wind Sage Crisis,” transferred to a new school: Liyue Academy.

Barely arriving at Liyue Academy, the new student Lumine received invitations from various clubs:

The ”Wangsheng Club,” ”Cooking Club,” ”Architecture Club,” and ”Coconut Milk Research Club.” But Lumine declined them all and chose the ”Rock ’n’ Roll Club.”

She debuted as the school idol, aiming to save Liyue Academy, which had lost its principal!

At the principal’s funeral, she’d hold a grand ”rock ’n’ roll” performance to send off the great principal! After all, the principal didn’t object.

But the ”filthy adult” Osial wanted to seize the principal’s position.

What to do? Of course, we won’t accept it! Don’t underestimate the bonds between us!

[Paimon clapped: ”Ooh, you’ve got inspiration!”]

[Yae Miko’s review: ”Hmm… my evaluation is 9.5.”]

”Hmm… interesting,” Zhongli said, finding it as enjoyable as Venti did.

Rock ’n’ roll at a funeral? Maybe next time—next time he dies, he’ll try it.

”Hmph, why didn’t you write about me?” Cloud Retainer huffed, somewhat dissatisfied. ”I’d at least be the dean of discipline, no?”

”Dean of discipline? More like the lady running the school store, selling quirky little toys,” Guizhong teased with a smile.

”Outrageous! My inventions are not mere toys, let me tell you…” Cloud Retainer began rattling off the wonders of her creations.

Zhongli shook his head but said nothing. This drinking gathering was meant for casual chatter, so anything was fair game.

Guizhong listened with interest—she, too, was an avid inventor.

Ping, providing the BGM, had no complaints, playing music with her eyes closed, savoring the moment.

Xiao sat quietly, feeling beautiful music in his left ear and incomprehensible chatter in his right.

Finally, it was time for the third chapter’s story: Farewell! Book Hunt Decree

I’m guessing it’s about transfer student Lumine arriving at Inazuma Academy, where the principal, Raiden Ei, is extremely strict, banning all students from reading extracurricular books.

Thus, she issued the Book Hunt Decree! Led by student council president Kujou Sara, the student council confiscated all students’ light novels!

Losing their only source of entertainment, Inazuma’s students grew increasingly despondent, and voices of resistance began to rise.

Upon arriving, Lumine, with help from the deputy principal—who loves cosplaying as a fox and is the principal’s best friend—Yae Miko, challenged Principal Raiden to an Imperial Examination!

Principal Raiden acknowledged the students’ right to read light novels and rescinded the Book Hunt Decree.

[Yae Miko beamed: ”I think it’s great!”]

[”But the part about me giving you an amulet needs some tweaks.”]

[”Change it to ’The mysterious fox lady teaches the protagonist a wish-granting technique, and the protagonist uses it to defeat the Raiden Shogun.’”]

Ei, engrossed in reading, spoke up: ”Isn’t that cheating?”

She had gotten immersed, initially finding it interesting that Lumine defeated her through the ”Imperial Examination.”

But with Yae Miko’s change, didn’t that make her loss unfair?

Everyone’s an ordinary person without special powers—why do you get a wish-granting technique?

”You’re really immersed, huh?” Kitsune Saiguu said helplessly.

”Hehehe, that’s what makes Ei adorable,” Yae Miko chuckled.

”By the common dictates of reason, indeed,” Lucian said.

”…” Ei looked at Lucian. ”That phrase… it sounds familiar.”

”Ehe,” Lucian played dumb.

”...” Ei thought, That phrase sounds familiar too.

Ei didn’t argue with them—she knew she couldn’t outwit three foxes—and continued reading.

In the story, Yae Miko made the change to go head-to-head with A Firsthand Guide to Summoning Spirits.

You have a wish-granting spell? I’ll write one too, and we’ll see whose is more popular!

Can you outdo Yae Publishing House? What resources does Yae Publishing House have? They’d get Lumine the best illustrators and even hire the recently popular Miss Hina for promotion!

Inazumans were quite familiar with Miss Hina, as she’d recently risen to fame.

She often wrote letters to solve Inazumans’ immediate troubles, earning widespread love, including from Arataki Itto.
