The Heart System

Chapter 640

Minne eagerly sank her teeth onto the tip, biting into my cock, not hard enough to break skin, but not incredibly easy either, just holding me between her teeth with a firm pressure. Jeez, this girl and her obsession with sucking and biting on something was a bit strange. She was a total weirdo, I couldn’t lie, but she was my weirdo. Just like Cora. Actually, scratch that; Cora was way weirder than Minne, by a mile. That was for sure.

”She likes... I don’t know,” Mendy shrugged, taking a few steps closer toward the edge of the bed. ”Honestly, she likes everything.”

”That’s... good, I guess?” I smiled.

Then, my gaze met hers, and the heavy, playful air in the room suddenly changed, turning into something much more intimate and intense. I looked down at Minne, gently weaving my fingers through her hair, and guided her mouth off my dick.

”Come on, honey. Get to the shower.”

”O-okay, Master.”

Minne slid off the bed, giving me a polite, submissive little bow despite being completely naked and flush from the sex. She gathered up her ruined maid outfit from the floor and quickly scampered out of the room, leaving the door to click shut behind her.

Now, it was just me and Mendy alone. The air in the room grew thick, a quiet, slightly awkward tension settling between us as I lay there completely naked and she stood by the bedside fully clothed.

”I hope,” I began, breaking the silence as I looked up at her, ”I proved you wrong.”

She cleared her throat, her eyes darting away for a second before locking back onto mine. ”It’s... I don’t know... but... what I know is... I like this... I think?”

Right on cue, my cock gave a slight, involuntary twitch against my stomach. Mendy’s eyes immediately tracked the movement, a small, knowing smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.

”I also couldn’t help but hear it through the door,” she quipped, crossing her arms. ”You fucked... Minne’s armpits?”

”AAAAAH!” I shouted dramatically, throwing my hands over my ears. ”Stop, stop, stop!”

”That is weird. Like, real weird,” she laughed, shaking her head. ”Wow.”

”No, no, no. No,” I insisted, shaking my head violently. ”I didn’t do that. It’s a total lie. Fake news.”

”It didn’t sound like a lie,” she countered, her smile widening. ”Just saying.”

I let out a long, defeated sigh, running a hand over my face. ”I... think I will take a shower as well.” I exhaled, rolling my eyes at myself. ”Ugh.”

Dakota, Dakota, Dakota. If I were a henchman working for some weird Russian mob boss, the kind of old-fashioned asshole who still beat his wife for serving cold dinner like it was the nineties, I definitely would not spend my free time hanging around a notorious gay bar.

I stood in front of the building and checked the time again. It was six in the evening, and the sun was already starting to dip low enough to throw a dull orange glow over the street. The place looked busy enough to be suspicious, but not so busy that it drew too much attention. That was probably the point, I guess.

”Ah, shit,” I muttered to myself. ”Come on, where are you...”

The problem was that they were not letting anyone in unless they came with a partner. And that meant I needed someone to walk in with me. Not a woman, obviously, because that would make the whole act way more obvious than it already was. Which left me with exactly one option.

Did I regret it? Yes.

Did I hate it? Also yes.

Did I want to step into traffic and let a car handle the rest? Maybe a little.

A car pulled up to the curb and stopped right beside me. I flicked my cigarette into the nearby trash bin and started walking over before the driver even fully opened the door.

Melvin climbed out and grinned at me like this was the most exciting thing that had happened to him all week.

”Evan!” he said brightly. ”It’s been a while!”

”Yeah,” I replied with a tired exhale. ”Alright, I already told you. We’re a guy couple, okay?”

His eyes widened with curiosity. ”Who’s top?”

I stared at him for a second. ”Man, there is no top or bottom. We are just a couple.”

”Aw,” he said, nodding thoughtfully. ”So we switch?”

I rubbed my face. ”Just come on.”

We crossed the street together and got in line. Since it was still early, there were only three people ahead of us. The bouncer stood at the entrance with his arms crossed, looking us over with that bored expression people got when they had seen every possible kind of weird night already.

Melvin reached over and took my hand, smiling way too proudly as if we were about to win some sort of competition. I gave the security guard my best bored expression and hoped he did not read too much into it.

”I’m top,” Melvin announced.

The bouncer blinked at him. ”What?”

”S-shut up, honey,” I muttered quickly, trying to sound natural. ”Come on. Let’s just go.”

”Fineeee,” Melvin complained, though he still seemed weirdly pleased with himself.

The guard glanced between us for another second, clearly deciding we were strange but not strange enough to stop. He stepped aside and waved us through.

Once we were inside, we moved through a short corridor that opened into the main room. The place was already lively, even though it was still early. Music pulsed low through the space, not loud enough to be obnoxious, just enough to keep everything buzzing in the background. The lighting was warm and dim, with neon strips along the walls and soft gold lamps hanging above the tables. People filled the room in scattered groups, some standing near the bar, others sitting close together in booths or at small round tables. The whole place had that mixed atmosphere of casual drinks and carefully hidden intentions.

A few couples were already dancing near the far side of the room. Someone laughed loudly near the bar, and a server moved through the crowd with a tray of drinks held high over her shoulder. The scent of alcohol, perfume and cologne blended together in the air, along with something smoky from the back corner that probably came from some illegal cigarette variant no one bothered to question.

I looked around slowly, keeping my eyes moving.

”Jeez,” I muttered under my breath. ”Why would he hang out here?”

”Wait, who?” Melvin asked, looking around too. ”Who are we following?”

”No one,” I said quickly. ”Don’t worry about it. Let’s, uh, sit down first.”

”Mm.”
