I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1923: 24.184 Sixth Violet Star - Punishment

The God of Destruction didn’t expect that this human Marshal would answer completely different from what he had expected. Then he recalled about his beloved that he left at the mine. If this mortal is not the main culprit, it means someone else had been controlling this person.

Hei Anjing asked, ”What did you do today?” He is still using his skill authority to command over the human marshal. That’s why Mu Liao had no other choice but to answer his question even if it’s against his will.

”Ouroboros had suddenly appeared in the town and the four rulers had gathered to kill him. However, he had escaped,” said the human marshal, Mu Liao.

The God of Destruction approached Mu Liao and saw that he was about to escape and commanded him not to do so.

”Do not move.”

Mu Liao’s whole body had stiffen on where he was seated. All he could move was his eyes and mouth. This time he was immensely terrified of how someone like Hei Anjing existed. He was actually speechless as he looked at the exquisite horse ornament on the table not far from them. This is an ornament made from the jade stones from that mine which is capable of weakening being not of this world.

His eyes say it all and the God of Destruction notices what he is looking at and can somehow guess what is swirling in his mind at this moment.

After picking up the horse ornament on the table. Hei Anjing said, ”Are you confused why this thing is not useful against me?”

”You know... this horse ornament... is made from the same materials of that underground prison. It worked on those two! Why can’t it work on you!?” said Mu Liao while glaring at Hei Anjing.

Chuckles~

”We’re you waiting for me to lose strength? It doesn’t work on me though. This is something I can use as well. When I absorb the power in that stone...”

As Hei Anjing speaks, he absorbs the power within the stone. Seeing it lose its original cluster, Mu Liao watches as the hand that holds the ornament slightly moves and the ornament horse in the hands of the God of Destruction crumbles into ashes. This shocked Mu Liao. After all, he had noticed that the godly pair from before weakens greatly under the power of this stone.

Now seeing the stone which is the source of his confidence crumbling into ashes horrifies him. At this moment, before the eyes of the God of Destruction, Mu Liao felt he is no different from an ant this man can crush with his hands.

”I-Impossible. This is a dream! That person said as long as I have this stone all beings who considered themselves divine would grovel under my feet!”

”What are you? What the hell are you!?” questioned Marshal Mu Liao.

The sound of his shout was a bit harsh in the ears of Hei Anjing and gave the man a flick on his forehead which seemed to have power to blow off his head but in the end didn’t do so. The pain on his forehead is real though.

”So noisy. Making my ears ring. I think I’ve got what I wanted,” said Hei Anjing and made the marshal look into his eyes as if he saw something disgusting.

The God of Destruction said, ”You are a bit disgusting. Though it is human nature to think you had planned the death of your father and the old marshal as well as the former marshal just to get the current position you have today.”

”I won’t have cared what you humans scheme about among yourselves. But adding our dad (Huzi) in mixed... you don’t truly treat your life as life,” said Hei Anjing.

When he flicked Mu Liao’s forehead just now, he had used his ability to see the past and the future. He had seen that this person is a reborn person and met Pei Jin as soon as he woke up. He is also the one who was sending information about the Long Clan to Pei Jin.

Most of the assassination against the old marshal was also his doing while using the name of Pei Jin. As most of Pei Jin’s actual plans had failed due to the help of Hunluan and the World Eater on the Long Clan. It is just that when they’ve stopped helping them that everything has crumbled and this opportunity was taken by Mu Liao.

It was him who had controlled the undeads that surrounded the military compound before. This is a simple skill Pei Jin had given to him. Also when he faked his coma when the Undead Lord attacked before, his original plan was to let all those people die and wake up only when they are all dead.

Beastmen King Huzi’s arrival was something he had anticipated. He knew that the beastmen race compared to humans are stronger. He intentionally made it so he will come to his place so the military compound which was under the attacks of the undead to receive late reinforcement.

There is also the weird fact that the dying old marshal had suddenly gained enough strength to merge with his beast as if he was healthy and save Long Tian at the last moment. In fact this is Mu Liao’s doing as well. He gave a medicine he had his people stole General Gu and secretly gave one to his father.

If there is one medicine then he can choose whether to keep it to save his life or give it to the old marshal and die together. The result his father had chosen is the latter, that’s why Mu Liao said that this was a mistake in his plan. He had never expected how foolish his father was to choose the dying old marshal instead of his own life.

He intentionally sends someone to tell Long Tian about his son, brother and nephew being in danger. If this man had chosen to act like a marshal and gave up his family then it wouldn’t be him who would be called the marshal but still Long Tian. However, Long Tian chose to find the rest of his family. The death of the old marshal had longed for his heart and he was extremely afraid of losing more of his family. That’s why he had come to that place and died under the hands of Pei Jin and his contracted beast, the Evil Beast God, Ouroboros.

As for the one who had given him the underground prison with cosmos stones, it was also Ouroboros. The two wardens were also given to him to take care of. It was then that he knew that Lou Wuye and Yun Ming aren’t mortals but a divine being known as Gods.

”What do you... No! How the hell did you know? How much is it that you know!?” Marshal Mu Liao shouted.

The God of Destruction looked at him nonchalant yet with a playful smile on the corner of his face.

He said, ”I know that you are reborn. That your dream is to become a marshal but wasn’t chosen by the old marshal in your past life. That you voluntarily met with the owner of Ouroboros and how you helped Ouroboros escape just now.”

”One touch is enough for me to know how your past and future will unfolds~,” said Hei Anjing.

Mu Liao’s face slowly turned white as he listened to the devil’s words lingering in his ears. He finally realized that the one in front of him is not a human and not simply a god. He is a being much more powerful than an ordinary god.

Hei Anjing observes his reactions and feels bored by how this man is acting. Humans are interesting for the sake of their desires, greed and dreams, they can even kill their loved ones. Though not all humans are like this, humans who stood at peak had looser morals compared to those who are below them.

The Marshal asked, ”What are you going to do with me?”

”Nothing much. I just want you to feel what it’s like to suffer without dying so easily,” said the God of Destruction as he fed him something like a pill.

Mu Liao exclaimed, ”What the hell did you feed me!?”

”Something that will make your body feel like a thousand ants biting you. Without any visible wounds or injuries internally. After all, you still need to work as a marshal. However, the feeling is real. The effects would hit you every night at this time. Enjoy yourself~”

”Oh? By the way, you are forbidden to speak to anyone of this meeting or our conversation. Also, you can move again.”

The God of Destruction disappeared before the eyes of Mu Liao which shocked him. In a few seconds after Hei Anjing had left, the frozen body of Mu Liao was finally able to move. He looked around nervously and only when he saw that Hei Anjing was no longer around did he sighed in relief.

”Ah! So itchy!!!”

However, he shouldn’t have relaxed too early as the effects of the pill that was fed to him had now activated. The endless itchiness under his skin made him move around trying to scratch away the itch. But scratching until he was bleeding and screaming in frustration had called over his servants. They were surprised to see their marshal covered with scratches and blood.

”Stop me! Restrain me! I was poisoned!”

Marshal Mu Liao screamed as the servants and guards of the place worked together to restrain their master and stop him from scratching off all his skin. A few doctors were also invited but everyone of them says that the Marshal is not poisoned at all and seems to be healthy instead. Even though the marshal looked like he was not kidding around, they couldn’t find the reason why he was feeling itchy all over.
