I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1555 21.12 Fifth Violet Star - Police

The arrival of the police force at the café terrified the regular customers in the area. Among them only the two who were seated at the corner didnʼt care about them at all. The doctor was even trying to feed the God of Void with cheesecake but was ignored by the latter.

”Little grumpy~ how about sugar to remove your bad mood?”

Asked the doctor with blonde hair.

The God of Void retorted,

”How about you die? That might make me happy.”

”

Haha~

so harsh, darling~. So when I am going to let me dissect you? You must have a beautiful set of organs in you~”

said the doctor while looking at the God of Void with an obsessed look on his face yet not looking at him like a living person.

The God of Void wasnʼt surprised about it, in fact it tweaked his interest for a bit.

He answered,

”Just die.”

They were suddenly surrounded by a group of police in uniform and surrounded them from inside out. This destroyed the scenery of what the God of Void can see from where he is seated. On the other hand, these police officers led by Captain Lou Ye approached the doctor.

Captain Lou said,

”Doctor Black, itʼs time to go back.”

”Wait for a little bit. After I finish my coffee and cake, I will go with you~”

said the Forensic Doctor with the codename ʼBlackʼ.

Then he glanced at the man who was seated in front of him. He is unfazed by the situation he was in, even though he was surrounded by a group of special force police, the God of Void remained calm. It was as if he had the confidence to leave this cafe anytime he wanted without anyone being able to stop him.

The special force also noticed the God of Void, though in their eyes he is the mysterious bar owner of Purgatory. Itʼs a information hub that even the government approved but it cannot be said to be a legal establishment as well. But the government told them to turn a blind eye on this bar and considered Bar Purgatory a gray zone. Thatʼs why most police in the city keep tabs on Lucifer.

Captain Lou Ye gestures to his subordinates,

”Grab him and bring him back.”

”Yes, Captain Lou!”

said the police as they carried away Doctor Black like baggage.

As if used to this, Doctor Black didnʼt struggle as he was carried away. He was even smiling as he waved his hand towards the God of Void whom everyone thought was Lucifer.

Doctor Black said, My Virtual Library Empire

”See you later, Lucy~. Let me dissect you next time.”

Some police even tried to stop him from talking as he was scaring the masses inside the cafe.

”Doctor, donʼt say anything anymore!”

”C-Cover his mouth!”

”Oh my God, someone stop those who took videos and photos.”

”Tell the intelligence division this situation canʼt spread!”

Outside the cafe, the special force police had climbed back to their cars and saw that their captain was not going with them.

”Eh? Where is the captain?”

”He said he wanted to ask Lucifer something.”

”Is it about the serial murder case?”

”I donʼt know. But the fact that Purgatory is also a broker of information, the captain might utilize him as we are already blindsided.”

”The captain said he will return on his own. Letʼs go back to the station!”

”Yes, Vice captain!”

They didnʼt even notice the smile that appeared on the doctorʼs lips as he stared at the figure of the God of Void on the windows of the cafe they came out of just now. It was unknown what the doctor was thinking at the moment.

---

Back to the cafe...

Almost all of the police force had retreated except for their captain and the two invisible systems that were playing around them. After the police force had left, the God of Void finally looked at the police captain.

Snaps! With a snap of the God of Voidʼs finger the table they were in had entered the spatial mirror dimension leaving an illusion that they were just having a conversation in reality.

He said,

”Youʼre finally here, Chief Warden.”

”Greetings to my lord,”

said Chief Warden Lou Wuye as he kneeled on one knee before his master.

The God of Void said,

”Take a seat.”

The police captain sat on the chair where the crazy doctor sat and started telling everything that had happened in his perspective.

”Master, the original of this body is an angel. To be precise, a fallen god like Lucifer, but he isnʼt one of his subordinates. He is someone who descended on the human world to find Luciferʼs wings for himself and he is not the only one.”

”There are rumors about the angels and the devils. A single feather from Lucifer Morningstarʼs wings can purify all impurities in the world. As he used to be the brightest Archangel in the heavens. If a fallen angel ingested it he would once again become an angel and if a devil ate there is a possibility of them becoming angels.”

”The serial murders and crimes happening in this city must be connected to that pair of wings. If this continues Milord who is using Luciferʼs identity might get dragged into this problem.”

”Iʼve heard information about the world from Zhi Yang. What would you like me to do Milord?”

asked the chief warden with the police captainʼs identity.

The God of Void asked,

”Gather as much information you can get about the angels, fallen angels, devils and even on that pair of wings. However, pretend to be human as much as possible.”

”Tun Shizhe and Xue Hunluan are here. Theyʼre using the Devil of Gluttonyʼs identity to stay in this world. They didnʼt know we had descended in this star.”

”You shall pretend to be me if you meet him. I will allow the void to back you if that happens,”

said the God of Void.

The chief warden responds,

”As you will, Milord.”

”Also... check if that crazy doctor from before is someone elseʼs avatar. He might be Archangel Michaelʼs human avatar in this human world. Donʼt stay long here and go back to where you come from,”

said the God of Void.

The Chief Warden slightly bows his head as he stands up. The moment he did the dimension they were in had disappeared and they had returned to reality.

The customers of the cafe only see the police that remain to talk with the handsome man and take his leave. No one else questioned what happened between the two of them. But just the fact that the God of Void stayed allowed them to enjoy this eye candy for a bit longer.

Meanwhile at one of the docks in the city, a serial killer was chasing one of the hidden police and the situation seems to be dire. The victim had a stab wound on his stomach, and tried to hide. Itʼs just that he never expected the culprit of this serial murder was not human.

Within the dark corner of docks, a wounded man sat panting in one of the corners to hide. He was holding his stabbed stomach trying to block the bleeding. His pale face shows how bad his current situation is.

Urgh!

”

Tsk!

How the hell did he know that Iʼm tailing him!?”

”Did he choose this empty dock intentionally to lure me out?”

”This canʼt happen. I must report to the captain that the bastard was the killer or else the whole team would be in danger.”

The stabbed police brought out his phone and even turned on the locator , throwing it somewhere together with some scribbles about the killer and gripping it in his hand. He was using his other hand to call for reinforcement in this deafening silent corner in the dock.

Ring.

Ring~

Even the low ringing of his phone echoes in the area making the injured police officer nervous. He is afraid that the monster who was chasing him might find him at this moment. His phone rings for a few seconds more before his call is finally heard.

Click!

[Hello. This is the Special Force. This call will be recorded and a passcode will be needed for the call to be transferred.]

His original work phone had crashed on the way as he escaped and only had this one civilian phone that was luckily grabbed by him as a spare phone. Itʼs just that an unregistered number needs to go through his process before his call gets connected to the number of his special force captain, Lou Ye.

This police officer was so nervous that he started mumbling, ”Faster. Faster. Please answer already, captain.”

Click!

The injured police officer was about to be delighted when he heard the call had connected to his captain, but as he was about to speak a glint of silver flashed before his eyes and blood spurts out his throat. It was cut but that silver flash and phone fell on the ground as he slowly died from blood loss and suffocation of blood in his throat.

Whoosh!

Cough. Caff!

The dying policeman looked at the beautiful man in front of him smiling at him as he watched him die. This murder watches with delight as his victim slowly dies from the cut on his neck.

Thud!

”There is no escape from me~”

said the murderer with an ecstatic tone of voice.

The call was still ringing after it fell on the ground and the screen of the phone cracked beyond repair. The dying police officer didnʼt know if he was hallucinating but he saw a pair of black bat wings on the murderʼs back.

The dying policemanʼs last thoughts:

ʼDevilʼ
