I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1284: 18.122 First Grey Star - Leifa

The more lightning struck the Sea God Lanyu, the more intense his tribulation grew. Sea God Lanyu is struck by thunder that is thicker and more potent. The tint of the white lightning had altered till the last three strikes. It went from white to purple. This terrible purple thunder lightning has the power to reduce all gods and demigods to ash.

Because he still lacks a god physique, Sea God Lanyu may be killed by this lightning.

Rumbles~ rumbles~ rumbles~~

{Hahaha! If itʼs not true that I did want them to kick the bucket, then they can only kick the bucket! Thy life is under my own control! }

Translation: [Hahaha! If I wanted you to die, then you could only die! Your life is under my control!] The Heavenly Laws stated.

{I wonʼt be your slave anymore! When I ascend, you will be destroyed by me!!!}

However, the barrier surrounding Lanyu thickened and expanded, forming eight tentacles with Sea God Lanyu at their center, as though reacting to the purple lightning. It was Cthulhuʼs silhouette that now emerged, guarding Lanyu as its center. Even Sea God Lanyu is taken aback by this scene, which was not anticipated. Regarding the Heavenly Laws, they have lost all sense of reason.

{Thou art just a mʼre eel! a weakling yond did suppose to die because of corruption. Something like this shouldnʼt have kicked the bucket a long time ago! yond powʼr is suppose to beest mineth. Tʼs were supposed to beest! thee just hasʼt to taketh t hence from me!!}

Translation: [You are just a mere eel! A weakling that was supposed to be due because of corruption. Something like you should have died a long time ago! That power is supposed to be mine. Itʼs supposed to be! You just have to take it away from me!!]

Rumbles! BOOOOOOM!

The heavens are still full with angry words. Its contempt for the sea god is nearly overwhelming. A few thick tentacles comprised of divine forces cut and halted the purple thunder that descended. To extinguish the purple thunder, two tentacles were offered as sacrifices.

{Argh! Alas, bugs! thee cockroach! How hard it is to kill them!!! I shall forsooth kill you! Thee might not, but disappear!!!

}

Translation: [Argh! Damn bug! You cockroach! How hard is it to kill you? I will definitely kill you! You must disappear!!!]

{Youʼre dreaming!!!} Sea God, Lanyu, and the Moray Eel God retorted.

Rumbles~ RUMBLES~

Once more, the purple lightning changed. Its aura was far more menacing than it had previously been, and others were astounded by its ferocity. The purple lightning turned to a red hue, giving the impression that blood had been spilled across the sky. This is the second of Sea God Lanyuʼs recent trials.

The heavens beyond this earth will honor his ascension as long as he successfully defends himself twice more.

{Iʼm going to kill you. Thee shouldst be extʼrminated! Thee shalt not exist! I, the heavens, deny your existence!}

Translation: [Iʼm going to kill you. You should be exterminated! You shall not exist! I, the heavens, deny your existence!]

The sky had already descended into madness; this red lightning might wipe out a god. Heavenly Laws, a lower-tier world, is incapable of having such power.

Those on the sidelines were stunned; they were stunned even before the purple flash of lightning occurred. Even reddish-brown lightning now surfaces. This kind of lightning was limited to advanced worlds, such as Cultivation World.

Ji Yoonjun was afraid. Even he could have been destroyed by a lightning trigger of this magnitude. He looked around instantly and realized that the lords were wearing grave expressions.

”A Crimson Leifa! Even I can get destroyed by this kind of tribulation. How can a lower-tier world control such a powerful law of lightning?” Ji Yoonjun said.

Lu Shang said, ”Something is wrong. The heavenly laws of this world can barely control a purple leifa (lightning tribulation), but itʼs impossible for them to control a crimson leifa!”

”Whoever is interfering and lending its power to the Heavenly Laws of this world might not be simple! This Crimson Leifa canʼt fall. This can cause serious errors in this world when that happens. This world can only be scrapped,” Leica said.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”But we cannot interfere with someone elseʼs tribulation. Thatʼs against the Divine Laws of Vearth.”

”Weʼre not going to interfere in the tribulation. But we need to isolate this world for a while from them,” Lu Shang said.

System Yang and System Yue could only appear to assist them because they sensed the danger of the current circumstances. These two systems appear more like ancient cultivators than like contemporary humans in our world.

Zhi Yang said, ”Use a huge space barrier with the Space Array principle on it to isolate the world. But how can you be sure that there wonʼt be anything more powerful than this Crimson Leifa? This is just second to the last lightning tribulation of that Sea God.”

”AʼYang, are you saying his last lightning might be even worse?” Zhi Yue asked as he looked at the darkening color with a red hue flickering as if charging for the next strike. He felt shivers just thinking about it. ”If thatʼs true, then this world is...”

”We canʼt hesitate. First, stop the Crimson Leifa form affecting this world. As for the worst scenario, we can try using our divinity to block it for the last moment. If that isnʼt going to work, we can only pray that the lords will make a move,” Leica said.

Lu Shang made the decision to make their move, ”Spread. Five-point star, Red Isolation Space Barrier.”

”Yes!” The other four responded.

Rumbles~ Rumble~ BAMMM! BOOOOOOOM!

The Crimson Leifaʼs pressure eventually caused the barrier surrounding Sea God Lanyu to break. The last six tentacles had been eliminated this time. A few red flashes of lightning struck close to Lanyu, destroying most of the trench and causing the waters to evaporate, along with everything in its path.

Two tiny red Leifa that Sea God Lanyu repelled killed a great deal of corals and other adjacent living things.

SIZZLES~ SIZZLES~ BOOM! BOOM!

The Anairam Trenchʼs entire central region was devastated, and the danger zone was impacted. The noises of lightning striking the ground had ceased, and so had the water inside the danger zone. That Crimson Leifa had caused internal damage and blood to cough up from Sea God Lanyu. He was unaware that the Crimson Lefaʼs effects had been limited to the Anairam Trench.

Everyone standing at the edge of the danger zone has left. The sight of the water dissipating instantaneously the second a red flash of lightning struck the sky alarmed even Heavenly Guardian Fei. He gave the order to leave the hazardous area right away, and nearly everyone else was ejected from it with the exception of Heavenly Guardian Fei.

Heavenly Guardian Fei was palely frowning as she floated over the water. He notices that the water in the trench has completely evaporated and that a hole has been made in the ocean. All that was left were ruins and burn marks. When the landʼs walls crumbled and filled the trench, some debris also blocked the entry to the danger zone.

Heavenly Guardian Fei mumbled, ”How can this happen? The danger zone has been locked up. I must report this to the capital. The Ye Family is stranded inside after all.” He altered his attire and transformed his tail into human legs. Heavenly Guardian Fei headed out right away to report what transpired in the danger zone to the other Heavenly Guardians.

---

Anairam Trenchʼs Core Region...

With the exception of the small region that Ye Jieye guarded, the entire territory was in ruins. The ground is covered in innumerable craters, fissures, and dust. The minute the Crimson Leifa collapsed, all of the sea water in the region vanished. The entire danger zone was cut off from the outside world by the wall that Lu Shang and the other four had built.

It barely hangs on as more fissures start to show up nearby.

Darkness now shrouds the entire area. total darkness with hardly a glimmer of light. Ultimately, the entire region had been submerged behind the broken stone barriers of the excavation. The only light present at the moment comes from the lightning striking the thunderous clouds surrounding Sea God Lanyu.

Sea God Lanyu mumbles, ”Last one. Just one more. As long as I defended the last lightning, I will be able to ascend.”

Clap!

This applause was too evident in the abandoned, silent space. But after this one clap, the darkness persisted and the central area was lighted by an unidentified light source. Not that a fire had been started, but like everyoneʼs eyes in this area had been trained to focus in such total darkness. The God of Void, who ruled over all darkness, was the only one who was able to accomplish such a feat.

The core area had undergone significant modification. It turned into a desolate area quickly, consisting only of rock and dust. Different sized and shaped craters break. Everything had been obliterated, not even a single coral or seaweed.

Only the awoken Doctor Hei saw the awful thing out of all the humans in the neighborhood. The sea god, surrounded by a golden halo, is struck by lightning that falls from the sky in the colors white, purple, and red. Because of Ye Jieyeʼs barrier, he was insulated from the pressure of the lightning.

But he was astounded by the thunderous noises, explosions, and lightning strikes that occurred both before and after his eyes and ears. Now he turned to face their surroundings, which had entirely transformed from a plethora of marine plants and coral reefs along with other living things to being nothing more than a desolate area covered with nothing but devastation.

Doctor Hei mumbles, ”What the hell? Is this the end of the world?”

Even his gentle mumbling was heard in such a quiet place. It appeared as though the Anairam Trenchʼs central portion had turned into a barren wasteland with nothing but rocks and dust. Nothing alive was discovered.

Notifying the others, Mo Xuejing saw that Doctor Hei was feigning sleep. But he was not shocked when Doctor Hei stopped pretending to be asleep because the impacts of the hardship in the neighborhood are too great to ignore.

”No longer pretending to sleep?” Mo Xuejing asked.

As if he had been caught lying, the guy rubbed his face, but he also realized from Mo Xuejingʼs tone that he was not shocked that he was awake. He must have realized for a long time that he was pretending to sleep.

Ye Jieye gave him a glance and said, ”His strong will and his unique ability might have canceled out Leicaʼs aura when he made others fall asleep. Not bad.”

”Is it alright for him to witness such a scene?” Mo Xuejing asked. He knew that mortals arenʼt allowed to know the truth of the world, but this mortal seems to be unaffected.

Ye Jieye said, ”They said he is an enlightened one. He already knew most of the secrets of this world. Knowing more doesnʼt seem to be a problem.”

”AʼYe, do you think that little one can survive?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Ye Jieye answered, ”Before I saw the Crimson Leifa, I was sure he would survive, but now it seems that one helping the Heavenly Laws wanted this world to be destroyed.”

”World destruction? No, that canʼt happen. Our cubs are still here, as are our grandfathers and our clan. This world canʼt end yet,” Mo Xuejing said.

Ye Jieye smiled at his beloved and kissed his forehead. He whispered, ”Okay, baby. Your wish is my command.” This pledge alone indicates that the God of Void decided to become involved in this. As long as the last lightning is stronger than what their subordinates can handle, he will move. It is impossible to destroy this planet as his dearest yearning is for it to keep alive.
