I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 575: 11.101 First Green Star - Punishment World: ʼLabyrinthʼ (31)

After the completion of the dungeon, the team no longer stayed there than was needed. After they finished saying their goodbyes, they exited the dungeon to receive their rewards.

As soon as they got out of the dungeon, Hei Anjing once again fell asleep and Ye Xiajie caught him before he fell and completely closed his eyes.

Smiling at Ye Xiajie sweetly, He Anjing said, ”Iʼm so sleepy again. My love, wait for me to wake up. I might... I need to sleep a bit longer this time.” Then he closed his eyes and his breathing once again turned rhythmical.

”Sleep well, Baby...” murmured Ye Xiajie. On his face, an expression of pain and sadness couldnʼt be ignored.

Ye Xiajieʼs expression felt as if he was holding back his words and didnʼt dare to voice them out. He just let out a tired sigh and lowered his head to kiss his beloved.

”Chu Mo and Lan She. Donʼt waste any more time. Split up and enter the last two dungeons and get the key fragments we need. I and Jingʼer wouldnʼt be joining you in the last two dungeons. Instead, I will increase everyoneʼs overall capabilities.” said Ye Xiajie.

Using his authority as the Evil God and ruler of this world, Ye Xiajie had completely removed the reins on their soul. They had completely awakened the bloodline that complements their soul. Chu Mo and Lan She were able to use their real cultivation as True Gods from the highest realm. Zaneʼs bloodline evolves from a royal grade bloodline Blood family to a divine grade bloodline as a Fallen.

An Yuanʼs rare grade blood as an Ancient Human upgrades to a divine grade bloodline that of an Ancient God. While Han Yaʼs quasi-divine bloodline as a Demon upgrades to the divine grade bloodline of a Demon God instead.

The sudden increase in strength stunned Zane, An Yuan, and Han Ya. They only see Ye Xiajie emitting a dark aura in him and let this aura enter their bodies which forcefully increases their strength. What is surprising is that there are no side effects and no pain during the process as if this power was rightfully theirs from the very start.

Only Zane and An Yuan couldnʼt understand the meaning of what Ye Xiajie had done. Actually, before Han Ya became a human, he had already experienced this forced upgrade once. That was when he was rewarded by the Evil God himself and became one of his closest aides.

He stares at Ye Xiajieʼs eyes of disbelief and shock. He wasnʼt stupid enough not to recognize this kind of power. He knew that this human player who calls himself Abyss is none other than the Evil God that he used to serve before he became a human.

Han Ya spoke, ”Y-You... No, your majesty... Is that you?”

Ye Xiajie didnʼt even glance at him and just said, ”I do not know what you are talking about. Complete and gather the Key Fragments as soon as possible. So we could return to the city as soon as possible.”

Once he finished his word, Ye Xiajie walked away separating him and his wife from the group. He had already given them the greatest help he could provide for this group. He wanted to leave the dungeon area to look for a place where he could allow his wife to rest.

Han Ya tried to stop him to clarify things. He wanted to ask if Abyss is indeed His Majesty the Evil God who is as well the Ruler of the Abyssal World.

His tone is servile and respectful as he speaks to Ye Xiajie, though, the latter just ignores him.

”W-Wait... Please wait... Your majesty!?” yells Han ya but was blocked by Chu Mo who currently has no smile on his face.

Han Ya said to Chu Mo, ”Donʼt block me. I need to speak with the Lord!”

Chu Mo heavily pats Han Yaʼs shoulder and whispers, ”Calm down, General. Have you forgotten about your human friend and human lover?”

”...!!!...”

Han Ya was surprised to hear his former title being called Chu Mo before him. Only then did he realize that the identity of Chu Mo is indeed similar to that of someone whom he knew too well.

”Reaper... I see, no wonder that is your name. So it is you!” said Han Ya. He recognized Chu Mo as his majestyʼs aide. The Executioner of the Abyssal World, the Death Reaper.

Chu Mo shrugged his shoulders and said, ”Complete the orders of the Lord for now. We split into two groups. I and Sheʼer as for the last dungeon let it be you three.”

”Hey! Just us three. Thatʼs a bit dangerous!” complained Zane.

Han Ya agreed unconditionally. He finally got back his full power as the general of death. He is more than enough to complete a mere dungeon in hell.

”I agree. But you must talk to me after all this. Tell me what is happening and answer every single question I have.” said Han Ya.

Chu Mo said, ”Sure~ though I think you would be busier than me when we finished our task. Unlike my honey who knows who I am, you donʼt know anything.”

The words of Chu Mo made Han Ya remember the existence of his beloved An Yuan who was staying silent the whole time. He didnʼt even ask any questions or spoke a word. An Yuan just stares at him with a serious expression on his face. He was waiting. Waiting for Han Ya to tell him himself whatever he is hiding.

When Han Ya saw An Yuanʼs clear eyes, he knew that his beloved must be somewhat confused yet at the same time for some unknown reason he already somehow guessed that he wasnʼt the real Han Ya that he knew.

”AʼYuan, I...” Han Ya calls but An Yuan turns around ignoring his words.

An Yuan said as he walked away.

”Tell me once you are ready. For now, focus on the task. Brother Zane letʼs go.” said An Yuan as he walked towards the nearest dungeon to him.

But before he entered the dungeon he gave the clues for the other dungeon to Lan She. The two did not speak a word as they interacted. Han Ya had no other choice but to follow his beloved and Zane to the other dungeon which An Yuan had chosen.

Left behind by the group, Chu Mo and Lan She only watches the protagonists following the plot they were born with. Though the world plot is destined to be broken when Lord Hei enters this world.

Chu Mo approached his lover and asked, ”Did the Protagonist Shou know that the Protagonist Gong is no longer the original Han Ya? How did he notice?”

Lan She who was flipping through the book of clues given to him by An Yuan spoke, ”Because of his tattoo on his nape. The one Han Ya left on him without permission to safeguard his life.”

Chu Mo who remembered the black cloud-like patterns on An Yuanʼs nape. Because it was usually hidden by his clothes no one noticed. But someone must have pointed it out during their mission in the last dungeon which made An Yuan realize something was wrong with Han Ya.

”Oh~ thatʼs right. His tattoo is pure black. Only imprints left by Abyssal Monsters have a pure black aura in them as they were born in the Abyssal world itself. They are not like Lord God Ye who possessed more than two elements in his control.” said Chu Mo.

Lan She remembered Lord Heiʼs black and red flame pattern imprint on his neck. It signifies the elements that were strongest among what the Lord God Ye could use. Darkness element for black and red for Fire element. Itʼs no wonder Han Ya didnʼt think that he was the Evil God of this world because as far as he knows the Ruler of the Abyssal world is a monster like he is.

”I donʼt really care about the protagonists. Iʼm more worried that Lord Hei had fallen asleep again this time. He didnʼt even use his god form at all in the last dungeon. How come he fell asleep again?” said Lan She.

Chu Mo said, ”Mingʼer, donʼt you think Lord Hei had been getting sleepier than usual? Actually after the last world, I noticed his cultivation had degraded once more. From God-King to High God. From the original cultivation of an Immortal God, itʼs too much lower. If this continues he would lose his requisite to enter Vearth. Only Highgods can enter an SSS Grade Realm.”

”That wouldnʼt happen. Just Lord Heiʼs soul alone is Highgod class. As a natural-born god he is made different from those human-made gods.” said Lan She. ”But his soul state is unstable. If this continues Iʼm afraid that Lord God Ye might use some means against the natural laws of the world. If he did plan that we could never stop him as his strength is almost at Immortal State.”

Lan She looked in the direction where their Lords had disappeared. It was in the same way where the inn is located.

”I had a feeling that things will go awry for some reason,” mumbled Lan She as he moved away from his gaze and looked at the only remaining dungeon open for them to enter.

Lan She spoke, ”Complete our mission first. Think about the rest later.”

Only then did Lan She and Chu Mo enter the third dungeon. It was their mission to collect the key fragment rewards from it.

---

On the other hand, Ye Xiajie had carried his wife back to the Dimensional Space they own. Inside the space, he went to the mansion and placed his wife on the bed in the Masterʼs bedroom. After securely covering him up with a blanket, Ye Xiajie sat at the single cough near the bed.

Sigh~

He looks so fatigued that he leans tiredly on the couch. Then his cold eyes wondered at the two systems floating inside the room.

Ye Xiajie spoke with a commanding and icy voice, ”Materialized in your human form. I need to talk to you, Zhi Yang.”

[As you wish, Lord Ye.] said System Yang.

Both he and System Yue changed from their avatar form to their human form. Zhi Yue felt the tense and dangerous aura coming from Ye Xiajie and unconsciously hid behind Zhi Yang. Meanwhile, Zhi Yang remained silent and stood his ground before the Lord God. He had always been this robotic before the creator in front of him.

Zhi Yue whispered, ”AʼYang, Lord God Ye seems to be in a bad mood.”

”Donʼt talk, for now, Yueʼer. The Lord came for me.” whispered back Zhi Yang.

Ye Xiajie spoke, ”You know what Iʼm going to ask, donʼt you, Zhi Yang? And you knew that you couldnʼt lie to me about anything I asked regarding Jingʼerʼs situation.”

”Yes, Lord God Ye. Please ask away. I will answer anything about Master Hei.” replied Zhi Yang.

Ye Xiajie asked, ”I want to know his exact current state. Tell me about it.”

”Please give me time to check the Masterʼs overall condition.”

System Yang looked at his Master and used his scanning capabilities to check on Hei Anjingʼs current health situation. This is another special option he was programmed with so every time the other master had asked about his Masterʼs condition.

Zhi Yang spoke, ”Reporting. Lord Heiʼs physical vessel is now not available and there is no corresponding result for the physical values.

Going onto the Soul status of Lord Hei. The whole soul is not present. What was scanned just now is a mere soul fragment of Lord Heiʼs soul core. The remaining soul core was located at the Nether System, the Core area together with Lord God Yeʼs revived vessel.

Soul Fragmentʼs condition report. The soul fragment is currently unstable. Injuries all over which could not be healed unless they emerged with the soul core. The ripples of energy emitting from the soul fragment are unpredictable. It would sometimes emit low-grade energy and would also emit high-grade energy which the soul fragment couldnʼt support.

Outside energy must be recharged to keep the soul stable. As of now, the current situation is the most unstable state Lord Hei is currently trying to control within his soul domain. But he lacks the qi to suppress the cracking of his soul which is why he needs to sleep for a long time to secure the soul from exploding.

Report end.”

The contents of the report of Zhi Yang were so detailed that both Ye Xiajie and Zhi Yue were stunned. They never expected that Lord Heiʼs current soul is just a soul fragment.

Ye Xiajie asked, ”Soul fragment. The Jingʼer who has been always with me all this time is just a soul fragment!?”

”Yes, Lord God Ye. He is a soul fragment of the Soul Core itself. He is the main soul fragment with all memories and emotions of the real Hei Anjing possessed.” answers Zhi Yang.

Ye Xiajie asked, ”Where are the rest of the soul fragments!? Not one that is from the soul core but instead the remaining souls like his immortal soul and mortal soul.”

[A/n: Gods are made of three souls. The eternal soul is their soul core. The immortal and mortal souls which build up their intellectual spirit and physical spirit.]

Zhi Yang honestly replied, ”The Immortal and Mortal souls of Lord Hei are missing. All this time the reason Lord Hei was able to be born in the Mo Family is that his parents had physically created a Mortal soul, a physical spirit vessel that was able to support his eternal soul, his soul core.

While his immortal soul seemingly never existed when he was born. This missing soul was covered up by the Mo Bloodline which was given to him by his parents. Thanks to this it was able to substitute his missing immortal soul and live freely until now.

Like Lord God Yeʼs second reincarnation who was able to survive with a missing soul core. Lord Hei had also survived being reborn with a missing immortal soul. The probability that Lord Heiʼs original vessel still exists. I suggest Lord God Ye find Lord Heiʼs original vessel to completely revive him as a whole.”

Dumbfounded Ye Xiajie frowned as he listened to the reports of Zhi Yang. He only knew that Hei Anjingʼs soul was getting weaker. Never would he have expected that his soul itself was incomplete all this time.

Ye Xiajie murmured, ”Is this the real reason why I and Jingʼer fulfilled the requirements for the trials of revival? Because both of our souls are incomplete from the start?”
