The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1222: Chapter 1242: Do You Still Want Me? 2

Nangong Feihong shook his head and laughed: ”I heard something happened to you. I didn’t have much to do over there, so I hurried back. How do you feel? The doctor said you’re very weak now and shouldn’t get excited.”

Xia Xiaonuan smiled with emotion: ”I’m fine. Thank you for coming to see me.”

”What are you saying?” Nangong Feihong reached out and tapped her forehead. ”Do you remember when you were a child, whenever you got sick, I was the one taking care of you? You used to be quite attached to me back then!”

Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but smile at his expression.

”Feihong, over there, if you meet a girl you like, seize the opportunity, okay? You’re not that young anymore.”

Hearing this, Nangong Feihong’s face darkened a bit.

”Ah well.” He bent over and raised Xiaonuan’s bedside.

As he said, ”You don’t have to worry about me. Do you think a Young Master like me is lacking in girls? You should be more concerned about yourself! We can have another child; you’re still so young, what are you afraid of?”

As he spoke, he got up and poured her a cup of water.

Xia Xiaonuan took the cup and had a sip.

”I’m fine.” She forced out a slight smile. Looking out the window, she asked, ”How long have I been asleep?”

Nangong Feihong checked his watch and said, ”I got off the plane around nine this morning and rushed here. It’s already noon now. Are you hungry? I can get someone to prepare food for you.”

Xia Xiaonuan quickly grabbed his hand and said, ”I’m not hungry. Stay and chat with me for a while.”

Nangong Feihong looked at her with concern and smiled: ”Alright. By the way, before I came, Grandpa asked about you. His heart isn’t well, so we haven’t told him yet. You and the Crown Prince should try again later for a baby; it’ll be good for me too, as I can report to Grandpa.”

At the mention of Nangong Yaoling, Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes dimmed slightly.

The lazily shining sunlight poured into the hospital room, and Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but ask: ”Is Grandpa doing well over there?”

”Yes, he’s fine, you don’t need to worry,” Nangong Feihong replied with a smile.

”What would you like to eat later? I’ll go buy it for you.”

At that moment, there was a knock on the door.

Nangong Feihong was surprised and quickly said: ”Come in!”

Qin Yi walked in from outside, saw Xia Xiaonuan awake, and breathed a sigh of relief.

With a slight smile, he said, ”Young Mistress, the servants have brought your meal. Feihong, you can eat with the Young Mistress.”

Nangong Feihong looked as two servants walked in carrying several food boxes, placing the black-boned chicken soup, porridge, eggs, and more on the table.

He couldn’t help but say: ”Xiaonuan, is this all you’re having?”

One of the servants said, ”Young Master, the porridge is made with rich broth, and the black-boned chicken soup is particularly nutritious. It’s paired with eggs, which are perfect for the Young Mistress’s current condition.”

Nangong Feihong then remembered something and couldn’t help but smile.

Looking at Xiaonuan, he said, ”I already ate before coming. I’ll eat later outside; I’ll keep an eye on you while you eat.”

Xia Xiaonuan also forced a smile.

Qin Yi noticed Xia Xiaonuan seemed preoccupied and couldn’t help saying: ”Young Mistress, the Young Master was at the hospital all night after hearing you fainted. He left this morning because of work at the company.”

Xia Xiaonuan was startled.

Her eyes brightened as she looked at Qin Yi.

She couldn’t help but smile: ”I understand now, thank you.”

Qin Yi nodded: ”I’ll head out now.”

”Alright...”

After Qin Yi left, Xia Xiaonuan looked at the food in front of her and suddenly felt a bit hungry.
