New Age Of Summoners

Brightscale and Darkscale are not far from increasing the awakening percentages of their Divine Rule to trigger the ascension tribulation.

So, their eyes lit up when they heard that having a companion while ascending to the Heavenly Realm would increase the chances of their ascension.

”Brats, you can’t find a companion just because of that and do you think the Heavens can’t see through your thinking?”

Their line of thinking only got them another slap from Sylvan who explained, ”Draven and his wife have spent nearly 10,000 years together and developed their bond to a level where it was very hard for others to mimic them.”

”...”

Hearing those words, Brightscale and Darkscale shook their heads in disappointment.

”Actually, there is a way for these two seniors to increase their ascension rate to the Heavenly Realm.”

Ajax liked these two powerful but silly Dragon Brothers. So, he could not help but share some of the information he received from the System.

It’s not like he was losing anything in sharing that information. In fact, by sharing this information, more and more cultivators could ascend to the Heavenly Realm.

”What is it, Ajax?”

Darkscale could not help but ask Ajax about it because who doesn’t want to increase their chances of ascension to the Heavenly Realm?

”If you two can undergo the Ascension Tribulation together, you can achieve the same thing that Uncle Draven and Aunt have achieved.”

Soon, Ajax explained about it in detail, making everyone around him a bit surprised.

”That’s right! They have been brothers for thousands of years and they could achieve it.”

The most senior of the gang, Sylvan agreed with Ajax’s words.

”Great.”

With Sylvan’s agreement, the two brothers became excited as they just found a way to increase their ascension rate without doing anything specific.

”Anyway, let’s watch the last Lightning Strike and watch them ascend to the Heavenly Realm before continuing our discussions.”

Soon, Sylvan asked everyone to watch the Ascension Tribulation because there was still one Lightning Strike left for the competition of the Ascension Tribulation Process.

However, thanks to Sylvan’s words, no one was as worried as they were about the previous Lightning Strikes.

’Rumble’

’Swiish’

The Ascension Tribulation Cloud, fumed with rage as it failed to stop the two cultivators who were trying to ascend to the Heavenly Realm.

Nevertheless, it didn’t give up till the end and started preparing for its last pair of lightning strikes to take down those two cultivators.

’Swiish’

For the last Lightning Strike, it took more than 10 minutes for the Ascension Tribulation Cloud to prepare and on the other hand, Draven and his wife used that time to recover their injuries.

As Sylvan said, Draven and his wife were not worried about their last lightning strike; however, at the same time, they didn’t take it lightly as things always tend to happen, making them fail.

They used all their Defensive Skills to make their bodies as tough and as strong as possible while waiting for the last pair of lightning strikes.

’Swiish’

”Here they come.”

Seeing the Ascension Tribulation Cloud release the last pair of Lightning Strikes, Draven tightened the grip of his hand holding his wife’s hand as he shouted, ”Divine Jade Rule, activate.”

’Swiish’

’Swiish’

Following his lead, his wife also activated the Divine Jade Rule as their already powerful bodies became even stronger thanks to the Divine Jade Rule.

However, that’s not the end as Draven and his Wife still have another ace under their sleeves.

[Divine Jade Rule - Diamond Body]

[Divine Jade Rule - Enhanced Jade Body]

Both of them activated the Divine Skills connected to their Divine Jade Bodies, increasing their body defences to a whole new level.

’Swiish’

’Boom’

Soon, the two most powerful Lightning Strikes landed on Draven and his Wife, creating a most powerful explosion.

However, Draven and his wife seemed perfectly fine without losing a single dragon scale, shocking Ajax and everyone who was watching from a distance.

’T-this…the supposedly most powerful lightning strike is the easiest one to block.’

This was the thought in Ajax’s head as he could not help but think, ’So, a cultivator just has to worry about the first eight lightning strikes.’

’Wait a second.’

Suddenly, Ajax started thinking about the entire Ascension Process and the more he thought about it, the more excited he became.

’The first three Lightning Strikes are powerful; however, they can be easily stopped with external items like formations or barriers or weapons.’

With a Mythcial Grade Weaponsmith under him, Ajax was not worried about the Mythical Grade defensive equipment.

As for the formations, there were no skilled personnel under his care, Ajax knew he wouldn’t have any trouble finding someone.

’With these first three Lightning Strikes being taken care of, I need some special Quasi-Divine Grade Items to take care of the second batch of three Lightning Strikes.’

Soon, Ajax thought that if he could get his hands on the special items like Divine Shadow Stone, he could easily take care of one Lightning Strike and if he was lucky, he might be able to take care of three Lightning Strikes.

In short, taking care of the Fourth and Fifth Lightning Strike is easy with the Sixth Lightning Strike being a little doubtful to take care of using the special items.

’In short, I just have to worry about the Seventh and Eight Lightning Strikes and if my body is tempered well with many Sentient Flames like Uncle Draven, I can easily ascend to the Heavenly Realm.’ Ajax was 100 percent confident in his ascension to the Heavenly Realm and if he planned a bit, he didn’t have to worry about any of his subordinates or contracted spirit beasts to fail the ascension process.

Of course, he didn’t even consider other factors like young age, family bonds and so on that could decrease the intensity of the Lightning Strikes released by the Ascension Tribulation Cloud.

’It looks like I have another goal in my upcoming journey.’

Ajax noted down a new goal in his head as he looked into the distance where a small portal started appearing in the Ascension Tribulation Cloud.
