New Age Of Summoners

[Divine Protection] is a passive skill that Twilight gained after becoming an Emperor Realm Beast.

To trigger that passive skill, all Twilight needed to do was close his eyes and not move from his place and no attack could harm him.

Even though he could use that skill without activating the Divine Dark Rule, he wanted to increase the duration of the skill.

Without the Divine Dark Rule, the [Divine Protection] will last for only one minute with his current cultivation; however, with the help of the Divine Dark Rule, he could keep it active for ten minutes.

’Swoosh’

Ryan’s hundreds of clones rushed at Twilight and started attacking Twilight; however, no attack landed on Twilight, making Ryan pleasantly surprised.

As for the onlookers, when they saw Twilight sitting with his eyes closed, they knew what he was trying to do. So, no one was surprised.

”You got a cool skill there; however, it’s useless as I know it has a limited time period.”

Ryan’s clones attacked Twilight as his main body spoke with him, ”However, you can’t keep your Divine Dark Rule activated for a long time, right?”

Even though he was impressed by Twilight’s move, Ryan knew it was useless in front of him.

’I wonder whether I can still land an attack on him in his current condition.’

Ryan was not worried about using all his skills because he still had two of his trump cards, the bloodline and the Divine Rule that he could use to defeat Twilight with ease.

However, he thought that it would be nice to break Twilight’s skill and land an attack on him.

[Dragon Blood Cannon]

[Blood Energy Burst]

[Blood Clone Merging]

With that thought in mind, Ryan started using one skill after another, trying to injure Twilight.

However, no matter how powerful that attack was, it was completely useless on Twilight who was having his eyes closed with a slight smile on his face.

’Is he smiling at my attacks?’

Seeing how calm and even maintained a smile on his face, Ryan became a little frustrated at Twilight; however, he didn’t bother to use any of his trump cards yet.

Because, if his trump cards were also useless on Twilight who was sitting with his eyes closed, then it would be an end for him.

Hence, he controlled his frustration as he continued to use all his powerful attacks except for the two trump cards.

Another five minutes passed by and Ryan was still unable to do anything to Twilight and Twilight was also not willing to move from his place.

Moreover, he didn’t even bother to open his eyes at all which made Ryan frustrated at him.

’I think my Bloodline could make him suffer a bit.’

Even though only five minutes had passed by, for Ryan, it felt like many hours.

The thing is, in a fight, if the other party was fighting with him, Ryan would have not felt like that; however, Twilight was not at all fighting him.

It was him, who was using all kinds of skills and attacks, making him feel that he was spending a lot of time.

’Damn it…how much percentage did he awaken his Divine Rule?’

Even Lynn, who was supposed to be the second strongest in the trial was able to activate his Divine Rule by five minutes and currently, the Darkhorse of the trial, the Twilight Dragonling had activated his Divine Dark Rule by five minutes.

What’s more, he didn’t even bother to attack Ryan for the entire time even after activating the Divine Rule.

In the end, Ryan could not hold himself back and decided to use his bloodline.

[Blood Dragon Emperor’s Bloodline]

Since the duration of the bloodline was one hour, Ryan felt it was not a big deal to use the Bloodline’s boost to defeat Twilight.

’Swoosh’

With the activation of the bloodline, the aura emitted by Ryan increased by 10 times as he felt quite powerful.

”Now, let’s see whether my bloodline can break his skill.”

With that thought in mind, Ryan once again used all his skills and compared to before, all his skills were 10 times stronger.

However, still, Ryan was unable to do anything against Twilight as the smile on Twilight’s face increased, making Ryan furious.

It was the first time that an opponent revealed a mocking laugh at him amidst the fight.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, 10 minutes passed by since Twilight activated his Divine Rule.

During these 10 minutes, Ryan did everything he could and still could not land a single attack on Twilight.

’It looks like I have made him quite frustrated. It’s time to fight.’

Since his skill [Divine Protection] will be deactivated soon, Twilight decided to fight Ryan; however, he still didn’t open his eyes as he was waiting for the right moment.

’I have to be fast and execute my plan before he realizes what’s happening.’

Twilight used his Bestial Consciousness to keep an eye on Ryan and noticed that Ryan was coming at him to use another one of his attacks.

As for his Blood Clones, they disappeared after five minutes of activating that skill. So, he could only use his main body to attack Twilight.

’He is coming.’

[Divine Destructive Twilight Dragon Trasnformation]

Twilight readied himself as he took a deep breath and just when Ryan was close to him, Twilight’s human body transformed into a 10 feet huge dragon and in the middle of the transformation, Twilight swiped his long and sharp dragon claws at Ryan.

’Swoosh’

’Kacha’

On the other hand, Ryan was not expecting Twilight to counter-attack him after sitting silent for more than 10 minutes.

Nevertheless, he dodged the attack from incoming claws…at least he didn’t want his critical organs to receive any injury.

Along the process, Ryan’s shoulder was scratched by the claws, making a somewhat deep cut.

”Finally…you are willing to fight…Good.”

Even though he received a cut, Ryan was not bothered by it; instead, he was happy to see that Twilight was fighting back.

”Yeah…finally, it is time to put an end to the fight…Hehe.”

On the other hand, Twilight revealed a cunning smile on his face as the plan he devised was well executed by him.
