New Age Of Summoners

After saying that, both the Guild master and Esmund resumed their full focus on their ongoing battle.

’Clang’

Esmund, also known as ’The forger of essences’, was slamming his huge hammer at the golden demon king who was blocking his attacks with a golden shield.

’If I don’t have this legendary shield, then it would have been a difficult thing for me to fight against this monster.’

The golden demon king looked at Esmund by slightly moving his golden shield; however, in the next second, another hit landed on the golden shield.

Even though he was able to block Esmund’ strikes, with each strike, the golden demon king’s entire body was shivering and rejoiced for bringing his legend grade shield.

’I will continue to block his attacks and the moment he feels tired, I can torture him.’

This was the thought in the golden demon king’s head as he continued to block Esmund’s attacks without using the transformation pill.

’Thud’

’Clang’

’Thud’

However, with the passage of each second, the golden demon felt something was not right because he felt the impact he was receiving was increasing with each strike.

’Damn it…if it continues, I can’t withstand his attacks anymore.’

After a 10 or so strikes, the golden demon king noticed that Esmund was not all tired; instead, Esmund looked excited, making the golden demon king think that he need to change the strategy.

”Golden shield, time to transform into your second form.”

With that thought in his mind, the golden demon king used all his strength to push Esmund away with his golden shield before ordering it to transform.

’Kacha’

However, the golden shield didn’t transform; instead, it let out some cracking noises before turning into pieces.

”What?”

The golden demon king was shocked when he saw what happened to his favourite artifact as he looked at Esmund with furious eyes.

”By the way, I can modify the effects of the weapons and artifacts with my darling here.”

Looking at the angry golden demon king, Esmund kissed the huge hammer in his hands as he continued, ”Even though it was a legend grade artifact, it belongs to the lowest category of the artifacts in the legend grade.”

Esmund mocked the destroyed artifact that belongs to the golden demon king.

”Damn you. I am going to kill you for destroying my artifact.”

The golden demon king emitted blackish golden light around his body as he rushed towards Esmund at an incredible speed that Esmund could barely see.

’Punch’

’Punch’

”Die, you insect.”

The golden demon king had gone crazy and the only thing in his head was to kill Esmund at any cost.

Before Esmund could swing his huge hammer, the golden demon king had already appeared right in front of him and continuously punched Esmund.

”Looks like your friend is going to die…Hehe.”

The golden demon king that was fighting the guild master laughed as he informed the guild master about it.

”Haha…you have already lost two of your friends and you are the one to talk about losing friends.”

In return, the guild master replied with a light laugh, which made the golden demon king annoyed as he thought, ’How the hell are they so strong? If they enter the king realm, then it would be more troublesome for the demon kings to conquer this world. I need to kill them here at any cost.’

According to the information they got, the vagrant cultivators were strong; however, not as strong as quasi king realm cultivators.

Actually, it was not their fault because the vagrant cultivators didn’t use their full prowess until now because they didn’t get to use them.

They tried to conquer their enemies with only 50-75 percent of their battle prowess and kept many trump cards hidden from everyone for situations like today.

”By the way, it is  not my friend who is going to die; instead, it will be another one of your friends who is going to die.”

With a slight smile on his face, the guild leader informed the golden demon king he was fighting.

’What? Impossible. He is using his life force to attack that human and it is impossible for the cultivators below the king realm to stop him.’

The golden demon king had an unbelievable look on his face as he looked at the fight between the crazy demon and Esmund.

”Heavenly smash”

’Boom’

Esmund looked like he didn’t feel anything even when the golden demon king was punching at him; instead, he smashed his huge hammer onto the ground that made the golden demon king that had gone crazy flying into the air along with the lumps of sand.

”Now, it is time to say goodbye.”

With a slight smile on his face, Esmund left his huge hammer on the ground and used his two hands to slam the golden demon king into the ground.

”Thud”

The golden demon king’s body was filled with cracks as he had a shocked look on his face.

Even in his death, that golden demon king didn’t understand how Esmund was able to kill the demon king who was using his life force just like that.

”Hey, are you not going to finish your opponents? Or do you need my help in defeating them?”

After killing the golden demon king, Esmund stretched his body a little as he looked at the guild master and asked with a slight smile on his face.

”Haha…Esmund, are you asking for a beating or what?”

The guild master replied Esmund with a laugh; however, Esmund was shuddered at those words and instantly said, ”I think you can defeat him without any problem.”

”Looks like you still remember about your last beating. Good.”

The guild master was satisfied with Esmund’s reply as he looked at the golden demon king in front of him.

”Foolish human, if you are really that powerful, you should have already killed me; however, now that I have finished my transformation, I will finish you off easily…Haha.”

The golden demon king laughed as he rushed towards the guild master.
