New Age Of Summoners

”So, what should I do with you two?”

From Ajax’s looks, it was very clear that he was not going to take these high-level demon kings as his followers, making the two demon kings frustrated and at the same time, they were furious at Ajax.

If they went back in time, they would have killed him the moment they laid their eyes on him; however, there was no use in regretting now as there is no medicine for regret in this world.

”Human, just imagine what we can do if we became your followers.”

Nevertheless, they controlled their emotions and tried to show how much they could work for him.

”Yeah. I know what you can do and that’s the reason why I am going to kill you.”

With a scoff, Ahaxx casually waved the ancient protector sword once again and successfully killed the two high-level demon kings.

’Ding,

The host killed two high-level demon kings.

        Gained 2000 spirit points.

’No extra reward?’

Ajax was a little disappointed to see that there was no extra reward from killing the two high-level demon kings.

Nevertheless, Ajax was satisfied with the thought that he completed the mission.

’Ding,

The host completed the mission ’Killing three high-level demon kings.’

’Ding,

The host is rewarded with a normal world’s world core.

’Ding,

Soon, Ajax’s head was filled with the system notifications that made him reveal an excited smile.

’Finally, I can increase my cultivation to the elite general realm.’

Why would he not be excited when he could increase his cultivation to the next major realm?

”Everyone, you can go and relax.”

Nonetheless, he sent everyone away except for the devourer eagle king and the first devourer eagle general.

”You did great, Alder.”

Ajax praised the devourer eagle king because he risked his life while bringing the three high-level demon kings into the grey dwarf world.

”I was able to do that because of Halo. If he didn’t freeze them, I would have been killed before I could reach them.”

However, the devourer eagle king gave full credit to the time elemental spirit because the plan was successful because of his time halt skill.

Even though Halo could only freeze the high-level demon kings for a split second, it was enough for the devourer eagle king to bring the demon kings into the grey dwarf world.

”Everyone did great today.”

Soon, Ajax nodded his head as he gave the credit to all his summons because they adapted to the situation very well.

What surprised Ajax the most was the ’Always angry divine dragon’ tricked the three high-level demon kings into fighting among themselves which was completely unexpected.

’Looks like there are more emotions than anger in Twilight.’

Ajax felt a little bit relieved to see that the divine dragon was not becoming a mindless killing creature; instead, he was using his head to solve the bad premonitions.

”Anyway, let’s get back to the main business.”

In the next second, he remembered why he asked the devourer eagle king and the first devour eagle general to stay back and said, ”First general, why don’t you slowly devour one of the high-level demon kings’ corpses.”

Since Ajax was planning to groom one of the devourer eagle generals to become the devourer eagle king, he was going all out and gave permission to the devourer eagle general to devour.

”Thank you, master.”

The first devourer eagle general was so excited as he hurriedly thanked Ajax before picking a high-level demon king’s corpse.

”Alder, as for you, you have to make sure he devours the high-level demon king’s body at the right pace. So, his devouring bestial law increased rapidly.”

Next, he gave the order to the devourer eagle king who nodded his head.

”Master, two high-level demon king’s corpses are more than enough to break into the king realm. You can ask the second devourer eagle general to consume the third corpse.”

As the devourer eagle king who had a lot of experience in devouring various corpses and beings, he could tell whether the devourer eagle general would break into the King realm after consuming the two high-level demon kings’ corpses.

”Yeah. I thought the same; however, I don’t want to take the chance. Let’s just wait until the first devourer eagle general breaks into the King realm and then let’s focus on the second devourer eagle general.”

Ajax nodded his head and informed that he wanted to be sure before focusing on the second devourer eagle general.

”As you wish, master.”

The devourer eagle king just shook his head and didn’t say anything else and focused on the first devourer eagle general’s devouring.

”Master, I have something I wanted to ask you about these high-level demon kings.”

After a few minutes, when the devourer eagle king saw that the first devourer eagle general was doing right with his devouring, he said those words to Ajax.

”Sure. Go ahead and ask.”

Ajax, who was looking at the first devourer eagle general and mesmerized with the speed at which his ’devour’ bestial law was increasing, nodded his head when he heard the devourer eagle king’s words.

”Why did you not accept the three high-level demon kings as your followers, master? They would have been very useful for the master in conquering the other worlds very easily.”

The devourer eagle king had this doubt for a while now and since Ajax had given the permission, he didn’t hesitate to ask it.

”Haha”

In response to the devourer eagle king’s question, Ajax laughed out a loud a little before saying, ”They would have been useful for me only if they were sincere when they said they wanted to become my followers.”

”What?”

The devourer eagle king frowned as he didn’t understand how Ajax was able to figure out they were not sincere enough while saying those words.

’At least I felt they were sincere.’

This was the thought in the devourer eagle king’s head; however, he didn’t doubt Ajax’s decision because his master is still quite a mystery to him.

That’s right!

Even Ajax felt the same when he first heard those words; however, he didn’t get the system notifications in his head regarding the follower request which meant they were not sincere enough.

Moreover, he still needed to kill them to complete the mission to get the normal world’s world core.

So, Ajax didn’t think much before killing them.

’Anyway, I got some good weapons and items to travel between worlds.’

Ajax silently thought in his head as he stopped thinking about the high-level demon kings and focused on the first devourer eagle general.

”Level 7 devour bestial law.”

From the side, the devourer eagle king informs the level of the bestial law Ajax.

’One high-level demon king’s body helped him reach level 7. Good.’

Ajax revealed a slight smile and waited for the devourer eagle general to devour the second corpse.

’Swoosh’

However, before the devourer eagle general could start devouring the second high-level demon king’s corpse, his body started glowing with bright light making the devourer eagle king shocked.
