New Age Of Summoners

’Puchi’

However, before the demon could pierce his dagger into Rurbeak’s eye, a hole appeared in that demon’s abdomen.

’Thud’

In front of everyone’s eyes, the demon fell to the ground with a confused look in his eyes.

”What?”

Rurbeak looked at the fallen demon in front of him and looked in the direction where the stone that made a hole in the demon’s abdomen came from.

In that direction, Rurbeak and everyone present there saw a young man walk towards them with an expressionless look on his face.

He was wearing a light purple coloured battle robe; however, he was not carrying a weapon or anything else with him.

”Who the hell are you? How dare you kill one of my men?”

The demon general shouted at the young man walking towards them and at the same time, he thought, ’How did a human appear here?’

”My name is Ajax, the traveler.”

That’s right! The young man was none other than Ajax who came to the Grey dwarves’ world on a system’s mission.

Ajax calmly replied to the demon general as he walked towards Rurbeak.

The demon general frowned when he saw how calm Ajax was while replying to him as though he didn’t have any fear.

Not only the demon generals but all the demons and the grey dwarves were shocked at Ajax and they felt a bad feeling in their heads.

Even though Ajax saved Rurbeak, all the grey dwarves knew that their world is currently ruled by the five demon kings and the human is just making things difficult for them by starting a fight.

”What is your name?”

Why would Ajax bother about anyone’s thoughts? He came to this world only for the special mission and he was confident in finishing the mission.

So, he didn’t bother to look at the grey dwarves or the demons; instead, he walked towards Rurbeak before asking his name.

”S..sir, my name is Rurbeak.”

Rurbeak stuttered a little; however, he hurriedly replied to Ajax and it was not because of fear; instead, Rurbeak felt the human in front of him was better than his own people.

However, that doesn’t make him hate his town’s people because they were born the way they were born without much courage.

”Rurbeak, you have unusual courage in you which the dwarf race lacks. So, if you want, you can become my follower. Remember, it is a follower and not a slave.”

Nodding his head, Ajax offered the young dwarf to become his follower.

”Th...this...is..”

Rurbeak was shocked by Ajax’s words as he didn’t know what he had to do. His head was in a complete mess as he looked at the demon general and the town leader.

”Don’t worry. If you want you can reject my offer too.”

Seeing that the young dwarf was stammering in his words, Ajax assured him that he was not forcing him to become his follower.

”I...I want to. I want to become your follower.”

Rurbeak wanted to do something more than stay in this dwarf world and stay as a slave under the demon kings forever.

So, he assumed that this might be the fortuitous encounter he was waiting for.

Rurbeak knew the human came from a different world and he guessed that he would leave the world soon.

So, he controlled his thoughts and directly nodded his head.

”Rurbeak, are you out of your mind? How can you become a follower of someone you don’t know?”

The town leader shouted at Rurbeak and hurriedly walked forward to the demon general and kneeled before saying, ”General, we don’t know who this is and you can kill him; however, can you lessen the punishment for Rurbeak.”

”Sure. I will let him have his hand but I will still take one of his eyes.”

The demon general revealed a slight smile on his face as he nodded his head while looking at Ajax.

”Thank you, demon general.”

”Rurbeak, hurriedly thank the demon general for reducing your punishment.”

The old dwarf hurriedly thanked the demon general and asked Rurbeak to do the same.

However, Rurbeak didn’t do anything; instead, he stood up and walked to Ajax’s side.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for gaining a follower.

’Ding,

The system detected the follower is unique and has a huge potential to become an Emperor grade blacksmith. Please support the follower and he will do a lot of wonders.

’Ding,

The host is rewarded with a ’Normal world seed’.

As for Ajax, he was looking at the system notifications that appeared just as the young dwarf agreed to become Ajax’s follower.

’A normal world seed? I wonder what it will do.’

It was Ajax’s first time hearing the name. So, he didn’t know what he could do with it; however, he knew it was a good item and decided to check it after clearing the demons.

”Young man, if you know what is good for you, just beg the general and he will become his slave. He might let you have your life.”

The town leader frowned when he saw the young dwarf walk towards Ajax; instead of apologizing to the demon general. So, he tried to warn Ajax.

”Sigh”

Ajax didn’t get angry at the old dwarf’s words; instead, he felt pity and sighed.

’Spatial blades.’

Without wasting any time, he used Spatial blades as he felt ’Advanced spatial blades’ would be overkill.

’Puchi’

’Kacha’

’Aargh’

’Thud’

Except for the demon general, all the demons were killed by the spatial blades and fell to the ground.

’What?’

All the grey dwarves were shocked at the sight of killing all the demon general’s underlings in a single attack.

Moreover, he could guess that the human didn’t want to kill the demon general yet and that was the only reason why not a single spatial blade landed on the demon general.

’This is what I am waiting for. How can my master be a weak person?’

As for Rurbeak, unlike the other grey dwarves, he was excited as he looked at Ajax in awe and then looked at the demon general with a mocking look.

”So, do you still want me to beg you to take me as your slave?”

First, Ajax’s gaze landed on the leader of the grey dwarves and then he shifted it to the demon general before asking in a calm tone.

”Young man, you don’t know what you are getting into. If you come back with me and become a slave to my demon king, then he might let you live and make you a demon general or even an elite demon general.”

However, the demon general didn’t fear a little because he understood that if Ajax wanted to kill him, he would have already died.

Since Ajax’s cultivation was still at level 6 general realm, that demon general said those words.

So, he tried to warn Ajax with words, and at the same time, he tempted Ajax into joining their ranks.

”Oh. So, you are going to recommend me to become one of you.”

Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face giving the demon general some hope.
