New Age Of Summoners

After fighting the battle-axes for who knows how long, Ajax understood one major defect among these battle-axes.

’The coordination between them is very bad and it was the reason why I was able to destroy them one after another,’

With a smile on his face, he jumped into the 16 battle-axes which rushed at him from all the sides.

’Disperse,’

Just when the battle-axes were about to touch them, he dispersed his spirit consciousness form and appeared a few meters away from his disappeared spot.

’Boom’

A huge explosion appeared in his spirit consciousness that even made him fly away a couple of meters from the impact.

’Ding,

Destroyed a small part of the grade 2 battle axe

Gained 1 percent comprehension regarding the battle-axe dao.

’Ding,

Destroyed a small part of the grade 2 battle axe

Gained 1 percent comprehension regarding the battle axe dao.

Soon, 16 system notifications rang in his head informing him that he gained 16 percent of comprehension into the grade 2 battle-axe dao.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for successfully upgrading your third weapon dao to grade 2.

Along with those system notifications, another system notification appeared in his head with a little time gap, making Ajax quite excited.

’Swoosh’

At the same time, the one-meter battle-axe rushed towards him and revolved around him like a puppy.

”Huh? You look more strong now; however, I can’t use you yet,”

Apparently, there were no major changes to the battle-axe as it still remained at the same size; however, there were various runes that started forming making it look better.

Nevertheless, fighting requires strength, not beauty. So, Ajax didn’t choose to fight with it yet.

’System, let me see the new title, I unlocked previously,’

Since the transparent battle-axe is still taking time to appear in his spirit consciousness, Ajax hurriedly asked the system about his new title.

’Ding,

Title name:- Weapon Master (Level 1).

Conditions:- At least three weapon daos of which one shoud be at grade 3.

Weapon daos:- Spear (Piercing power), Sword (Fast-type), Battle axe (Explosive-type).

Effects:- 10 percent increase in attacking power when using these three types of weapons.

Note:- It can be stacked with other titles.

Ajax controlled his excitement feeling he might be disappointed; however, after seeing the note and it could be stackable with other titles, he revealed a smile.

Even though he could switch between the titles while refining or battling, he felt that in the future, he might get new titles, So, he heaved a sigh of relief.

’A 10 percent increase in attacking power. Good...good...good,’

Ajax revealed an excited smile and waited for the new battle axe to appear in his spirit consciousness; however, it’s been a while but it still didn’t appear.

’Swoosh’

Just when Ajax thought of coming out of his spirit consciousness, a huge battle-axe of around 10 meters appeared in his spirit consciousness.

Moreover, it emitted a huge killing intent and bloodlust as though it slew millions of enemies.

’Damn it...why am I unable to move?’

Ajax cursed in his head when he noticed that he was unable to move in the presence of the battle-axe.

’Human kid, you are good,’

While Ajax was trying his best to move in the presence of the battle-axe, he heard a hoarse voice in his head making him look at the huge-transparent battle-axe.

”You are able to learn two other weapon dao before coming here and you even reached grade 3 in both of them,”

The hoarse voice continued to ring in his head, ”However, you dared to come here with such pitiful cultivation...Hehe.”

The laugh from the hoarse voice was truly eerie making Ajax get goosebumps when it laughed.

”I came here to learn the weapon dao of the battle-axe,”

Ajax gritted his teeth and replied to the battle-axe which was hovering in front of him.

”Hehe...you are truly an ignorant brat,”

The battle-axe shook a little when an eerie laugh resounded in Ajax’s head and after a few seconds, it said, ”Fine then...since you are able to reach grade 2 within 36 hours, I will give you a test. As long as you finish it, I will help you reach grade 3 within a few seconds. What do you say?”

’Huh?’

Ajax felt something was not right; however, he didn’t want to miss this chance.

As long as he reaches grade 3, he could complete that mission and he would be greatly benefited.

”What if I fail?”

Nevertheless, he didn’t accept the deal and asked with a calm expression because he didn’t want the huge battle-axe to know that he was desperate.

”Hehe”

In reply, he got a similar eerie laugh before saying, ”Is there a need to ask about it? If you fail my test, of course you will die.”

The hoarse voice didn’t laugh when it said those last words as though it wanted Ajax to see that it was serious about killing Ajax.

”Okay then...I will not take the test,”

Ajax thought about it for a moment and noticed some fluctuations in the huge battle axe in front of him as though it was eagerly waiting for him to say ’yes’.

So, he intentionally said ’No’.

’What?’

The hoarse voice was shocked and didn’t believe what it had just heard.

”Okay okay,”

The hoarse voice seemed a little disappointed and said, ”If you fail, I will absorb all the essence of nature in your spirit consciousness.”

It didn’t think much before changing its limitations for failing the test as though it was clearly prepared for it.

”Only half of the essence of nature in my spirit consciousness. If you don’t want, then, I will leave from here,”

For some reason, after his first bargain with it, Ajax felt that the battle-axe is very easy to bargain. So, he intentionally used the words ’I will leave’.

”Okay,”

The hoarse voice replied and agreed in a little disappointed tone.

Actually, when the souls of the powerful weapons enter into a cultivator’s spirit consciousness, they just want to destroy the spirit consciousness form of the cultivator.

Even the heaven’s destroyer spear was like that before it was tamed by Ajax. So, he felt that the battle-axe’s soul was searching for an owner to leave this damned place.

So, no matter what conditions Ajax says, the battle-axe’s soul agreed to it.

”Okay then, what is the test?”

After finalizing their deal, Ajax asked the huge battle axe in front of him about its test.

”The test is very simple...ahem,”

The hoarse voice cleared its voice before explaining about the trial, ”You just have to walk near to me and touch me.”

’Swoosh’

’Huh?’

As soon as the hoarse voice finished explaining about the test, Ajax sensed the suppression from the huge battle-axe increased by many folds and he was barely able to stand.

’Damn it...how is it called a simple test when I can’t even stand?’

Ajax cursed the earlier words of the hoarse voice calling this test a simple test and started thinking about how to pass the test.
