New Age Of Summoners

’Gulp’

As he was watching the guardian, Ajax was shocked by the sudden action of the guardian spirit.

’It swallowed the fire orb just like that?’ Even though he was shocked, he didn’t alert it and continued to watch its actions.

Since he doesn’t have much use with the fire orb, Ajax didn’t bother himself at the guardian spirit’s actions.

According to the system, A guardian spirit’s job was to maintain the inner world along with improving it. So, he wanted to find out how its actions would help the inner world.

Ajax was at one corner of the inner world and hid his aura completely, so the guardian spirit still didn’t know it was being watched by its master.

After eating the fire orb, the guardian spirit walked to the centre of the elemental paradise and closed its eyes before waves of heat energy were released from its body.

’It is up to something,’ Ajax wondered by the guardian spirit’s actions once again.

The heat waves from the guardian spirit made the lava from one side of the elemental paradise fluctuate with intensity; however, the water from the other side was unable to get the energy of the same kind and cooled the heat energy.

’Aargh’

The guardian spirit painfully yelled and he was forced to the lava side completely by the water.

’Ding,

The guardian spirit consumed the fire orb and tried to increase the grade of the fire-water dual elemental paradise.

’Ding,

The guardian spirit’s attempt failed and in the process it injured itself.

Soon, he got a couple of system notifications that made him understand every action of the guardian spirit.

”Oh...trying to upgrade the elemental paradise grade with a grade 1 fire orb?” Ajax shook at the foolishness of the guardian spirit.

Ajax felt that it was foolish to try upgrading a grade 1 elemental paradise with a grade 1 fire orb and the most important thing was it was trying to upgrade a dual elemental paradise.

”But, still it tried its best,” Even though the upgrade failed, he felt that he just needed to train it properly before asking it to take care of the inner world.

’It’s already 100 years old and still had the intelligence of only a 5-year kid,’ Ajax thought in his head and made his presence known to the injured guardian spirit.

As soon as it sensed Ajax’s aura, with much difficulty, it came out of the elemental paradise and slowly floated towards Ajax.

”Sorry master, I destroyed the fire orb,” It immediately bowed to him and said about the destruction of the fire orb.

”Just heal your injuries for now and don’t try to upgrade anything without my permission….,” Ajax continued to say a set of things for the guardian spirit to follow and concluded with, ”The main thing you need to do is to take care of those small buds over there.”

While saying that he pointed at the inch sized buds near the mini-thunder pool.

They were the buds of the seeds which he got from the never-returning cave. He planted them a couple of days back but they were already starting growing at an incredible speed.

”Okay, master. Next time I will ask for your permission,” the guardian spirit respectfully replied.

”Good...Do you have a name?” Ajax didn’t know what its name was, so he asked it.

”I am only 100 years, so I don’t have a name yet,” the guardian replied while looking at Ajax.

”100 years only? I am only 15 years old,” Ajax looked at it weirdly.

Ajax felt that there must be something wrong with this boulder soul to keep on saying its age with an ’only’ word.

”Master, from your words I can understand that you don’t know about my souls that are born from a specific thing. Let me explain it,” the boulder soul looked at Ajax and shook its head before continuing, ”If a particular thing is exposed to a rich essence of nature for a long period of time, then that thing will get sentience and it can give birth to a soul just like me. I was born in the boulder due to exposure of rich fire elemental essence of nature for nearly 1000 years or more,”

”According to the inherent memory I gained after reaching 100 years, I am still a baby in front of the souls that are 10000 or 100000 years” The boulder soul finished explaining about the souls from what it had awakened its inherent memory.

”You are indeed a child compared to them,” Ajax thought about its words and nodded his head in agreement.

Even though he felt some surprise, he didn’t feel weird since they were the souls, they could live forever until that item was destroyed or its essence of nature disappeared.

’No wonder, it keeps on saying ’I am only 100 years’,’ Ajax felt funny thinking back it’s pestering in the cave.

”Okay, also take care of this egg and the fishes. They will help in improving the purity of the essence of nature in the inner world,” Ajax carefully gave it a small egg and the closed fishbowl.

The small egg belongs to the spirit turtle that he bought in the black market and the fishes in the closed fishbowl were gifts from Eica.

”Yes, master. I will take care of them,” The guardian spirit was excited hearing Ajax’s words because the more pure the essence of nature it stays in, the more inherent memories it would awaken with time.

So, it was apparently exciting for it to take the egg and the fishbowl from Ajax.

”By the way, I will call you Red. Guardian spirit -Red. Looks good,” Ajax named it as Red.

Since it was completely in red colour, he casually named it before leaving the inner world.

’I should improve this land as soon as possible,’

After Ajax left the inner world, Red swore in its heart before breaking the closed fish bowl and throwing the yin-yang fishes into the mini-thunder pool.

Next, it took the spirit turtle egg to the dual elemental paradise and settled it in the bottom of the waterside.

As soon as it was settled, the egg started absorbing the water elemental essence of nature crazily.

Red looked at it for some time before going towards the buds and watered them with the mini-thunder pool’s water.

Ajax left the inner world and kept an eye on his new guardian spirit for a moment and felt satisfied with its actions and stopped keeping an eye on it.

With the speed of twilight, Ajax and other elemental spirits reached the Hawk tribe in the next few minutes making Ajax heaved a sigh of relief.

’Twilight, you can land on the ground now,’ Ajax ordered Twilight to stop before they could reach the tribe entrance in order to not raise any commotion.

’Roar’

With a low roar, the dragon landed on the ground and Ajax didn’t give it any time before summoning it back into the inner world along with the other elemental spirits.

The reason for his sudden actions was that he doesn’t want twilight to show its sad look when he summons it back.

’Phew...finally reached the hawk tribe,’ Ajax heaved a sigh of relief looking at the broken down entrance and slowly walked towards the tribe leader’s house.
