New Age Of Summoners

”What?” Ajax was shocked at the sudden unexpected notification from the system and looked at the powdered upgrade stone in his hand.

”What happened Ajax? Is something wrong?” Snowstorm and others heard Ajax’s sudden shout and hurriedly asked him.

When he got the system notification, he could not suppress his shock and unconsciously shouted, making others look at him.

”Nothing, I felt a bad premonition and …,”

”We understand what you are feeling. But, no need to worry, Godfather is more powerful than you think,” Goliath consoled Ajax.

Goliath thought that Ajax was feeling guilty over the fact that he was the reason for the current situation they were in and asked him not to worry.

”Yes, Ajax. Just relax and watch,” all others said something to console Ajax.

Initially, Ajax was only focused on helping Edmond by breaking Darbaudr’s seal; however, after hearing their words, Ajax suddenly realized how many lives are at stake because of him and wanted to do something to help Edmond kill that old man.

”Thanks, everyone,” Ajax, felt warm when he saw the nine cultivators who consoled him.

”No problem,” All members nodded their heads and turned back to look at the fight that was about to start.

’What should I do? Why is it failed?’ However, Ajax’s mind was focused on the failed upgrade, and he felt anxious again.

’System, can you answer about it?’ Ajax quickly asked the system.

’Ding,

When using an upgrade stone, there is a certain chance that the process will be failed.

’What? But it never happened before? Why did it happen at a time like this?’ Ajax asked all the questions that were bothering him.

’Ding,

It doesn’t mean that there is no failure if you didn’t experience in the past.

     Everything has its first time.

’Ding,

As for a reason, it failed this time is because the level of up-gradation of the artifact this time is high, so the chance of failure is also high.

’Ding,

By the way, the host is already very lucky that the artifact was not destroyed along with the failed upgrade.

’Sigh…,’ After seeing the system notifications, Ajax understood the cold reality and sighed.

At the same time, he was shocked to know that he was already very lucky and thought in his head, ’I should know more about the upgrade process if we escape from this situation.’

’Sorry captain, I was unable to help you now,’ Ajax felt depressed and looked at the fight hoping that Edmond would do some miracle.

...

”I will see how long you can maintain that smile,” the old man was irritated at the smile on Edmond’s face and coldly said.

After completing his words, the old man started his first attack without wasting any time by making some gestures with his fingers.

As soon as he did that, a torrent of wind appeared out of nowhere and surrounded the old man making him levitate in the air.

”Now suffer,” the old man motioned his hands forward, and soon Edmond was sucked into the summoned windstorm blocking the vision of everyone from outside.

”What is happening inside the windstorm?”

Everyone hurriedly became panic as they didn’t expect the huge windstorm to absorb Edmond into it.

”Don’t worry, nothing happens to Godfather,” Goliath calmed his juniors.

However, inside his heart, he was also worried about his Godfather, but he didn’t show it on his face.

’I have to do something, but I don’t even know how can I help the Captain?’ Ajax’s mind started to process at lightning speed and continued to think of various possibilities.

’Even if I summon all my spirit beasts and Elemental spirits, it won’t be much help to the Captain and the system is restricted the quest item from giving it to him,’

Every possibility made Ajax lose hope, but he didn’t give up yet as he thought, ’Calm the mind and think clearly.’

Ajax closed his eyes to find something to help Edmond in the fight with the old man.

’I think, I have to do this,’

As expected, after closing his eyes for a few seconds, Ajax found a way, but he was not a hundred percent sure about it.

’Anyway, I should do something,’ Ajax motivated himself and moved towards the unconscious Levi.

’Darbaudr can you come here for a second,’ Ajax contacted the barbarian to come to him.

Since all members were focused on the fight, they didn’t pay much attention to Darbaudr or Ajax, making Ajax heave a sigh of relief.

If they asked him what he was doing, Ajax could not answer them and say, ’I was planning something to help the Captain’ as it involves his secrets which he doesn’t want others to know yet.

’Young master, what are your orders?’ Darbaudr asked Ajax through voice transmission.

’Can you unlock the space ring of others who are still alive,’ Ajax asked embarrassedly and looked at Darbaudr.

Since Ajax couldn’t unlock a space ring of an alive cultivator, and he hoped that Darbaudr, with his spatial affinity, might do some magic to unlock it.

Darbaudr first looked at the unconscious Levi and then looked at Ajax and said, ’If you want me to unlock his space ring, then I can unlock it since he was unconscious and the connection between him and space will be very loose.’

’Really?’ Ajax felt his hope of escaping this situation suddenly increased as he excitedly asked the Barbarian.

’Give me a second,’ Darbaudr knew that Ajax only wanted to do something to help Edmond, so he didn’t think his young master was stealing something from Levi.

Ajax nodded his head and watched Darbaudr placing his hands on Levi’s space ring.

The area around Levi’s finger was soon surrounded by space elemental essence of nature for a moment before entering into the space ring.

Within a few seconds, after space elemental essence entered into the space ring, it came out of Levi’s finger on its own, making Ajax puzzled.

’Here, young master,’ Darbaudr gave the space ring, which was now ownerless to Ajax, who was still puzzled.

’Thanks, Darbaudr,’ Ajax took the space ring and looked into it with his spirit consciousness.

As soon as his consciousness entered it, he was shocked by the space inside it and thought, ’Where should find an upgrade stone in this space.’

He didn’t want to focus much on Levi’s items and planned to pick only an upgrade stone as he felt it was not good to look at other person’s things.

’But, from the looks of this vast space, I think I don’t have another choice and have to look everything,’ Ajax felt shame inside his heart for checking Levi’s items without his permission.

However, he didn’t have any other choices at the moment other than doing this.

’Sorry, Senior brother,’ Ajax apologized to Levi in his heart as he became his search in the vast space of the space ring.

In the space ring, Ajax found various items that looked very majestic and high level, but he didn’t focus on them since he doesn’t want to privy much into Levi’s items.

Although they were high-level ones, Ajax was able to say that they were not much of a use in this situation, and furthermore, there seemed some kind of restrictions on most of the items.

’Is it..is it….’

As he continued his search for more than a few minutes, he finally found a familiar stone, making him excited and shuttered.

’But what is another stone beside it?’ Ajax calmed his excitement as he picked the upgrade stone and the stone beside it.

’Ding,
