Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

Chapter 684: Chapter 514: Shifting Situation, Spirit Wood Demon (Double Release)

Ye Jingcheng felt enlightened in his heart and understood that what he needed now was time. The many techniques he mastered were the key to his victory.

However, before that, he needed to increase his win rate by mastering the Spirit Control Secret Technique.

He needed to control not only the Spiritual Golden Scale Beast but also attempt to control the Spirit Wood Demon and Peach Wood.

After all, only the Peach Wood had cultivated the Taiqing Spirit Guarding Skill. If he didn’t have even a trace of such Divine Soul aura on him,

Master Tianfu would certainly be alert.

If he summoned a Golden Core friend from the Taiyi Sect or left behind some contingency, it would be extremely disadvantageous for Ye Jingcheng.

Ye Jingcheng soon arrived at Lingyun Lake, opened the underground palace within the lake, and set up the array. This time, he did not enter the Grotto World Space.

The situation at Lingyun Peak could change in an instant.

If he went into the Grotto Heaven, he might miss many chances to make judgments.

Only by maintaining constant observation and clarity could he better handle everything.

Once everything was set up, Ye Jingcheng placed a jade talisman on his forehead and released the Golden Scale Beast, as the best for Spirit Control was still the Golden Scale Beast.

Its body was covered in golden armor, and it also enhanced defense through Spirit Cultivation, making it the most familiar spirit to the Ye Family.

Only after successfully controlling the spirit once would he dare to attempt to control the Spirit Wood Demon.

The Golden Scale Beast was still a bit dazed after coming out of the Grotto World Space, not knowing what Ye Jingcheng intended to do.

In the past, whenever Ye Jingcheng placed a jade talisman on his forehead, it was to perform alchemy.

“Roar, Master!”

“I am not a Red Fox!” the Golden Scale Beast repeatedly growled softly.

It wanted to tell Ye Jingcheng that it was not a Red Flame Fox and that it was getting anxious about it.

But Ye Jingcheng was immersed in familiarizing himself with the Spirit Control Secret Technique and ignored the Golden Scale Beast.

This secret technique was not new to him; after his Beast Communication Pattern awakened, he had inquired about it and even consulted Ye Xueliang and Ye Haicheng a few times.

He had also heard the latter explain it multiple times and had seen it demonstrated several times.

However, he had never actually performed it.

This secret technique also utilized the Beast Communication Pattern to transmit the unique Blood Qi of the Golden Scale Beast to infuse the cultivator’s body.

Of course, this Blood Qi was not through simply absorbing blood essence but required special techniques to condense into a special Spirit Pattern.

The first step was to feel the special Spirit Pattern of the Spirit Beast through the Beast Communication Pattern and then apply the specialized secret technique.

Ye Jingcheng carefully reviewed the notes summed up by his family alongside the jade talisman ten times before setting the jade talisman aside.

“Rest assured, it’s not for alchemy. Next, you have to cooperate well!” Ye Jingcheng said aloud.

The Golden Scale Beast, upon hearing it was not for alchemy, calmed down and even looked forward to it with a longing gaze.

It had long been displeased seeing the Red Flame Fox always being able to help Ye Jingcheng.

It thought that the reason the Red Flame Fox could consistently surpass it was because the Red Flame Fox always helped Ye Jingcheng with alchemy, which is why Ye Jingcheng gave the Red Flame Fox the Spiritual Fire.

And because of that Cyan Yang Flame, the Red Flame Fox could win by half a move.

Otherwise, it could at least have been the second!

The Golden Scale Beast thought confidently.

Ye Jingcheng, at this moment, naturally wasn’t considering the thoughts of the Golden Scale Beast.

This moment, he began to activate the Spirit Technique.

The Spirit Technique was extremely subtle and was to be overlaid on the Beast Communication Pattern.

As the Spirit Pattern formed, a unique Spiritual Power immediately followed the Beast Communication Pattern and fell into the body of the Golden Scale Beast.

Ye Jingcheng only felt a rich Earth Attribute Spiritual Energy surrounding him, that unprecedented sensation towards the Earth Attribute made him feel a bit incredible.

He suddenly discovered that it seemed possible to cultivate during Spirit Control, which could definitely speed up the cultivation process.

However, he quickly shook his head; the spirit energy gathered by Beast-Controling Spirit entirely concentrated on the Spirit Beast.

This completely aided the Spirit Beast’s cultivation.

If he had time, it would be better to cultivate himself.

Ye Jingcheng instantly cast this idea aside, no wonder this Spirit Control was so miraculous and had not been promoted within the Ye Family, it truly suited only the Body Cultivator.

Because most Spirit Beasts were only adept at physical prowess, there were too few Spirit Beasts proficient in Breathing Techniques.

Ye Jingcheng continued to concentrate, and as the rich Blood Qi surged into the Beast Communication Pattern, into Ye Jingcheng.

Layers of scale armor instantly appeared on Ye Jingcheng’s body, similar to Qilin’s scale armor, and suddenly he felt as if he temporarily possessed all the abilities of the Golden Scale Beast.

He could continuously perform the Golden Earth Spike Technique and Golden Light Cloud Fall Star Rock.

Moreover, he found the strength of the scale armor completely controllable.

He could reveal the scale armor or keep it hidden.

When he next glanced at the Golden Scale Beast, he found it with dissipating golden light and a weakened aura.

It was evident that when Ye Jingcheng controlled the spirit of the Golden Scale Beast, the beast became extremely weak.

No wonder Ye Haicheng and Ye Xueliang returned the spirit beasts to the Spirit Beast Bag during Spirit Control.

Ye Jingcheng saw this and also released the Spirit Control, and the Blood Qi followed his meridians, returning to the body of the Golden Scale Beast through the Beast Communication Pattern.

Ye Jingcheng checked thoroughly and found no issues.

He once again took out the jade talisman and began to study and summarize again.

He sought not just the enhancement of his defensive capabilities through Spirit Control.

How to make the aura of Spirit Control manifest was his goal.

Of course, if he could research Ye Jingyu’s concept, it would be even better.

Afterward, Ye Jingcheng experimented two more times, each time becoming more proficient.

By the third time, Ye Jingcheng was enveloped in scale armor, almost like a half-Qilin man.

Even he found it unbelievable.

Moreover, he discovered his strength had significantly increased, and it felt as if he could command the entire earth with both hands.

But he also found that in this state, his control over himself was greatly diminished.
