Villains Aren't Stepping Stones!

Chapter 135: Chapter 135: The Three Sisters

The grand audience chamber of the Ruthless Empress was a marvel of architectural intimidation.

The pillars were crafted from obsidian that pulsed with a faint, rhythmic crimson light, and the floor was a mirror-finished jade that reflected the flickering torches of eternal fire.

High atop her throne, Chu Xueyu sat with a posture of absolute authority, draped in silks the color of a dying star.

To her left and right sat her sisters, Leng Shuang and Feng Yuyan, their presence completing the trinity of power that governed the inner workings of the Shen Clan’s Main Domain.

They were ostensibly there to finalize the logistics of the Heaven’s Choice Tournament.

The event was a gargantuan undertaking, requiring the coordination of spatial arrays to transport branch families from across the Shen Clan, the preparation of the Divine Arena, and the calibration of the ”Karma Mirrors” that would broadcast Haoran’s dominance to every corner of the domain.

However, while Feng Yuyan was animatedly discussing the bracket system and Leng Shuang was meticulously reviewing the resource allocation for the winners, Chu Xueyu was not present in spirit.

Her eyes, usually as sharp and cold as a guillotine’s blade, were glazed over.

She was staring at a specific patch of shadows on the far wall, her mind trapped in a loop of memories from the previous night.

When Haoran had returned from the lower realm, he had brought back a certain... restlessness, and also due to her teasing.

So Chu Xueyu, being the mother who had always overseen his every need, had, for the first time, offered to help him alleviate the physiological ”urges” that often plagued young men of his burgeoning power and vitality.

She had entered the situation with a clinical, maternal pragmatism, after all, she had seen enough through her centuries of living—whether through the observation of lower-tier ”mating” rituals or the occasional accidental glance at the more debauched corners of the world—to know that a hand could provide relief.

But last night had shattered her existing paradigm.

Haoran, with a gaze that held a terrifying intensity, had guided her through things she hadn’t known were possible.

It was the first time she had discovered that a mouth could be used for something other than speaking or consuming spirit tea.

It was the first time she had tasted that viscous, white essence—the concentrated vitality of the Infinity Dragon God Divine Physique.

She found that she didn’t dislike it. To her, Haoran was the pinnacle of perfection, so every drop of his blood, every spark of his Qi, and every essence of his body was sacred.

There was no room for disgust in her heart where her son was concerned, but she was simply... bewildered.

The sensations were alien, and the intimacy overwhelming.

Then there was the matter of her breasts—he had asked to use them as a ”valley,” and she had complied, her chest and even parts of her face becoming coated in that warm, sticky evidence of his release.

She recalled the way his hands had gripped her hair, the way his breath had hitched against her skin.

And no matter what she did, it had been incredibly difficult to calm the fire in his blood.

His vitality was simply too vast.

’Thankfully, I succeeded,’ she thought, a faint flush creeping up her neck that she hoped the shadows would hide. ’If I hadn’t been able to settle him, I would have had to summon Ning Xueli.’

She knew that Xueli was someone who hd already slept with Haoran, but she and Feng Yanmei were thousands of light years away in the outside world, systematically purging the last hiding spots of the Golden Cloud Immortal Sect’s remnants.

Chu Xueyu had felt a strange, possessive satisfaction that she had been the one there calm down his raging fire with her own hands.

”Sister? Are you okay?” Feng Yuyan’s voice cut through the fog of her thoughts like a knife.

Chu Xueyu blinked, her focus snapping back to the present as she saw Yuyan looking at her with a confused, slightly amused expression.

”You’ve been staring at an empty space in a daze for ten minutes. I asked you three times if we should allow the use of Saint-grade artifacts in the preliminary rounds. You didn’t even twitch.”

”Hmm.” Leng Shuang added a concise nod, her clinical eyes scanning Xueyu’s face for signs of soul-deviation or hidden injury.

There were none.

Chu Xueyu cleared her throat, adjusting her posture and smoothing her silk robes, which she had already changed from what she wore last night.

She looked at her sisters—two of the most powerful and knowledgeable women in the realm—and a sudden, burning curiosity overcame her better judgment.

She needed to know if she was the only one who had stepped into this strange new world.

”Sisters,” she began, her voice steady but lacking its usual imperial thunder. ”Have you ever... in your travels or through your research... heard of anyone putting ’it’ in their mouths? Or perhaps... squeezing it between their breasts?”

The hall went silent.

Feng Yuyan and Leng Shuang tilted their heads in identical gestures of bewilderment.

”Putting what in the mouth?” Leng Shuang asked, her brow furrowing as she searched her vast mental archive of medicinal herbs and spiritual fruits. ”Are you talking about a specific spirit-cleansing herb? There are some that require sublingual absorption to be effective.”

”Squeezing it with their breasts?” Feng Yuyan asked, a playful, but confused grin on her face. ”Is it a storage method? Like how I carry my communication artifacts or my emergency formation flags?”

To demonstrate, Yuyan reached into her ample cleavage and pulled out a shimmering jade tablet, displaying it with a flourish. ”It’s quite efficient for keeping small tools warm and accessible.”

Chu Xueyu’s face heated up. ”No. Not tools. I meant... you know. A man’s... ’thing.’ Putting it in your mouth. Have you heard of anyone doing that?”

The confusion on her sisters’ faces lingered for a heartbeat, then two. Then, as if a sudden, horrific realization dawned on them, their expressions transformed.

”Ew!” Feng Yuyan cringed violently, her entire body shuddering with visceral revulsion. ”Who in the nine heavens would put that disgusting thing in their mouth? Whenever I perform experiments on male corpses or zombies for my alchemy, I always cut those off and incinerate them first because they are foul and aesthetically offensive. And you’re saying someone, a living person, actually puts it in their mouth? How could a human be so utterly, wretchedly shameless?”

Leng Shuang said nothing, but her face crunched up as if she had just bitten into a rotten lemon.

She stared at Chu Xueyu with a look of profound disbelief, her eyes searching her sister’s face as if wondering if she had been possessed by a low-level succubus demon.

”Seriously,” Feng Yuyan continued, oblivious to the way the air in the room was beginning to crackle with Chu Xueyu’s rising killing intent. ”If I ever met a woman who did something like that, I would spit on her face. I’d call her a disgrace to the human race and a stain on the dignity of all cultivators.”

Leng Shuang nodded, ”Mn, mn.”

”On second thought,” Yuyan paused, looking genuinely disgusted, ”I probably shouldn’t even spit on them. With how perverted and disgusting they must be, they’d probably enjoy it. Bleh! The very thought makes my skin crawl.”

Leng Shuang nodded fervently, her near-emotionless face twisted into a mask of pure, clinical disdain.

”Unsanitary,” she whispered. ”Highly illogical and repulsive.”

”Like, can you even imagine?” Yuyan forged ahead, fueled by her own self-righteous horror, still oblivious to Chu Xueyu’s darkening expression, ”How shamelessly, cosmically disgusting someone has to be to take such an ugly, awkward-looking, awful-smelling thing and... put it in their mouth? I’d rather eat a handful of poisonous toads!”

At that moment, the dam broke.

Chu Xueyu’s patience, already stretched thin by the lingering sensations on her skin and the confusing emotions in her heart, finally evaporated.

Her aura erupted in a terrifying, obsidian wave of Qi infused with the Dao of Slaughter.

The entire Shen Clan Domain a territory spanning an entire world, trembled.

The ground shook with the force of an earthquake, and in the distant mountain peaks, ancient Supremes snapped awake from their thousand-year slumbers, thinking a war had begun.

Even the Enshrined Elders couldn’t help but look up from whatever it is they are doing.

”OUT!” Chu Xueyu’s voice was a roar of pure, celestial fury. ”OUT! BOTH OF YOU!”

Before they could even utter a syllable of defense, she lashed out with her qi as the two sisters were seized by an invisible, irresistible force.

They were launched through the grand doors of the palace, through the atmospheric barriers of the inner city, and sent screaming across the horizon.

They flew like shooting stars, eventually crashing straight into a jagged mountain range fifty miles outside the main city.

*BOOM!*

An entire peak collapsed from the impact, sending a cloud of dust and pulverized stone thousands of feet into the air.

Leng Shuang and Feng Yuyan were buried under millions of tons of rubble and ancient granite.

A few moments later, a pillar of emerald and silver light burst from the wreckage as the rocks and dirt were vaporized in an instant as the two sisters emerged, floating in the air.

Their hair was a mess, their robes were dusty, and they looked absolutely shell-shocked.

”What is up with that woman!?” Feng Yuyan shouted, her voice shaking with indignation as she brushed a piece of stone from her shoulder. ”Is it her time of the month? Why is she so incredibly irritable? She was the one who brought up the topic! We were just answering her!”

Leng Shuang was equally annoyed. Her golden hair was disheveled, and her crossed arms were trembling with suppressed anger.

It was one thing for Xueyu to kick them out of her room when she wanted to hoard Haoran’s attention, but to be physically launched into a mountain range for expressing a common opinion?

It was an insult to their status as sisters and as powerhouses.

Just then, Chu Xueyu’s voice, amplified by the laws of the domain, thundered in their ears, sounding as if she were standing right beside them.

”The two of you... stop your babbling and go. Announce to every branch, every city, and every allied sect that the Heaven’s Choice Tournament begins in three days. If a single person is late, I will hold you personally responsible!”

Back in the silent luxury of her palace, Chu Xueyu was taking deep, ragged breaths, her hands trembling as she gripped the armrests of her throne.

Her face was a deep shade of crimson, and her heart was pounding.

”Those two... idiots,” she whispered to the empty room, her eyes flickering with a mix of shame and a newfound, stubborn resolve. ”They have no idea. Obviously, it isn’t disgusting at all. They just haven’t tried it. Once they do... we’ll see who’s spitting then.”

She thought of the weight of Haoran’s body, the warmth of his presence, and the way he looked at her when she had followed his instructions.

To her, it wasn’t a disgrace; it was a ritual of absolute belonging. And if the rest of the world thought it was disgusting, then the rest of the world could burn.
