My father sold me to the Mafia King

Chapter 381

Julie’s point of view

He maintained absolute silence, his features locked in a cold, ruthless winter that offered zero mercy. I screamed hysterically, twisting, turning, and aggressively violently thrashing against the iron forearm clamping down on my waist. ”Jake! Speak, goddamn you! What the hell is that supposed to mean?!”

He ignored my cries, maintaining a suffocating, insulting silence that pushed my nerves to the absolute brink. Finally, he rounded the corner of a massive, rotting wooden barrier, and the reality of the destination crashed over my senses a filthy, disgusting pigsty. It was a sprawling, foul-smelling pen enclosed by decaying wooden fences, dominated by a massive, viscous pool of thick black mud. Inside, a pack of filthy swine were circling one another, unleashing repulsive grunts as they wallowed through the muck.

Jake halted dead on the absolute edge of the perimeter, staring intently down into the muddy pit before turning a scathing, deeply satisfied look toward my face.

”Isn’t your family and your native homeland beautiful?” he sneered, his voice dripping with pure vindication. ”It perfectly suits that high-and-mighty pride of yours.”

I fired a blistering, venomous glare directly from my green eyes, my voice cracking with sharp, unadulterated hatred. ”It’s a disgusting pit of filth that flawlessly mirrors your own trash origins, Jake!”

A loud, booming laugh tore from his chest, echoing sharply across the isolated property to provoke every single nerve in my body. ”Enjoy your absolute time with my lookalikes and your own species, then!” he spat with chilling indifference.

Before my brain could even process the weight of his words, his iron grip completely vanished from my waist in a treacherous, unexpected release. I free-fell through the air for a fraction of a second, suspended between the sky and the earth, before crashing violently down into the dead center of the thick, viscous black mud right alongside the grunting swine.

The sheer impact of the fall sent a sharp, agonizing jolt straight through my spine and across my lower back. The freezing, foul-smelling muck instantly saturated my red silk dress and smeared across my face, thoroughly coating me from the strands of my hair down to the soles of my shoes in a deeply humiliating, repulsive layer of filth. I frantically scrambled to find my footing, desperate to get away from the animals, but the arena was a literal living hell. With my hands tightly handcuffed and bound behind my spine, my center of gravity was utterly destroyed, leaving me with zero leverage to push myself upward.

My feet continuously slipped and twisted in the dense mud, sending my body crashing heavily back into the slime every single time I tried to rise.

Several pigs began to crowd around my flaking frame with a repulsive, animalistic curiosity while I thrashed through the grime. I aggressively used my shoulder to smear the slick, muddy strands of hair away from my eyes. Blinking through a veil of bitter tears, I spotted Jake through the dark. He had already walked over to a slightly elevated, dry section of ground, casually seating his frame onto a wooden chair with an unmatched, arrogant audacity.

He elegantly crossed one leg over the other, his pristine, expensive clothes standing out as a direct taunt as he thoroughly enjoyed the miserable spectacle before him.

I ground my teeth with a homicidal, bloody malice, unleashing a roar that shook the very air between us. ”Jake! Damn you and your goddamn audacity! Get over here and drag me out of this absolute filth right now!”

He smoothly drew a cigarette from his case, igniting the tip with slow, deliberate calm, watching my desperate struggles with a terrifying coldness. ”I am excessively enjoying my time and the absolute view right now, Julie,” he drawled, exhaling a slow line of smoke. ”Don’t ruin the entertainment with your shrieking.”

”Jake... I swear to God I am going to murder you and rip your body to fucking shreds the exact second I get out of here!” I screamed, my features contorting with a blinding rage as the veins in my neck pulsed with hot blood.

He exhaled another relaxed cloud into the night air, offering a mocking, ice-cold shrug. ”Yes, yes... I am looking forward to that sweet vengeance with absolute, burning passion, my lovely girl.”

I dug my bare knees hard into the slick, disgusting mud, gathering every single ounce of latent muscular strength left in my core. I pushed upward with immense difficulty, balancing on a knife’s edge for a mere matter of seconds. But the moment my torso straightened, two massive swine aggressively jostled against my side in a random, heavy collision, slamming hard into my wet legs. I lost my balance entirely, crashing downward in a deeply humiliating face-plant straight back into the muck, sending a foul spray of mud directly across my face and lips.

Jake’s loud, echoing laughter pierced through the air, drilling into my eardrums with sharp, unyielding malice.

The sound lit a savage, unyielding fire deep within my soul. I forced my aching body to endure the pain, a fiercely stubborn, rebellious determination locking into my brain. I was going to stand up—regardless of his goddamn laughter, regardless of this disgusting pit, and regardless of the ropes binding my freedom.

I dug my right elbow violently into the dense earth, shifting the entire weight of my frame with agonizing effort. I let out a sharp breath, shaking the muddy strands of hair away from my brow so I could clear my vision.

The pungent, suffocating stench of the enclosure grew heavier by the second, but the roaring furnace igniting my veins was more than enough to burn this entire goddamn farm to ashes with everyone standing on it.

I shifted my feet with absolute caution through the grime, forging a solid, immovable base beneath my weight. I ground my teeth in pure defiance, ignoring the faint echo of his continuous chuckles from the dry ground. Leveraging the tightly conditioned muscles of my thighs built from months of grueling morning workouts I gradually hoisted my torso upward.

With an effort that threatened to tear my muscles apart, I finally stood completely erect, balancing firmly against the slick mud and carefully avoiding the swine roaming the pit.

I locked my green eyes dead onto his position, glaring through the thick splatters of black mud covering my face with a look of pure, unadulterated promise and dark intent. Despite my ruined, heavily soiled state, and despite the crimson dress dripping with black filth, when I spoke, my voice thundered through the night, as rigid and unyielding as solid iron.

”Laugh all you want and savor every single second, Jake... Enjoy this pathetic, disgusting, temporary little victory while it lasts. Because I swear to you on my goddamn life, every drop of this filth polluting my skin right now is a drop I will personally force your ass to swallow and lick clean. I am going to return this exact humiliation tenfold, and I will not show a single shred of mercy when you are begging at my feet!”

His provocative laughter instantly died, cutting off as sharply as if a physical blow had just struck his jaw. Every trace of amusement vanished from his features, replaced in a microsecond by a dark, dangerous, and ruthless gravity. He slowly uncrossed his leg, standing up to his full, towering height.

His massive, broad frame completely dominated the space, casting a heavy shadow as he stared down at my body with a gaze charged with an unhinged, consuming malice that seemed to swallow the very light around us.

He took wide, heavy, and perfectly balanced strides toward the edge of the wooden fence separating our frames. Leaning his massive torso slightly over the barrier, his blazing eyes mapped out my face, completely transfixed by the lethal, unbreakable defiance that the mud hadn’t crushed but had only set ablaze. When he spoke, his voice was a low, vibrating hiss that made the very air turn cold.

”I am intensely turned on by that raw, vicious savagery rooted deep inside your soul, Julie,” he whispered, his eyes dark with a primal intensity. ”Your rebellious, unyielding pride has always been the absolute highest provocation to my senses it makes me want to utterly crush, break, and tame your ass until you are completely under my control. Now... since you’ve successfully proven to yourself and to me that you can survive standing in the absolute filth, let’s see how much more your body can endure before you are screaming for mercy between my hands. The night is exceptionally long.”
