Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 564: Chapter 565: Drunk at a Social Event

”Master, I’m sorry, I didn’t discipline Xiao Yue properly. I did talk to him about this, that Gu Junru is Ah Shen’s girlfriend and he mustn’t overstep, but who could have thought Xiao Yue would develop feelings for Gu Junru...”

Han Bing furrowed her brows, ”Master, it’s my failure in upbringing, but are you really planning to protect Xiao Yue and deceive the Second Young Master?”

”Xiao Bing, you worry too much, take care of your health.” Bao Jinpeng comforted Han Bing.

”Master, if the Second Young Master wants to investigate, there’s nothing he can’t find out.” Han Bing remained worried, ”Master, I’m afraid once this matter is exposed, it won’t be good for Xiao Yue...”

”Don’t worry, I know Ah Shen wouldn’t investigate too thoroughly.” Bao Jinpeng said.

”So are we to let misunderstandings persist between the Second Young Master and the Young Madam?” Han Bing frowned, looking worried, ”Master, if Gu Junru’s child is Han Xiaoyue’s, I really would feel terribly sorry for the Second Young Master...”

Her son committed such an act, as a mother, she felt deeply ashamed before the Bao Family.

”Has Xiao Yue contacted you in the past two years?” Bao Jinpeng suddenly asked.

Han Bing shook her head, ”No, ever since he and Gu Junru disappeared two years ago, he hasn’t contacted me.”

But she knew that the lack of contact from Han Xiaoyue meant he was fine, because she checked Han Xiaoyue’s bank account every month, and he was using it.

...

Night fell.

After the dinner, Tan Mu brought Bo Sishen back to the Sakura Building.

The car parked in Bo Sishen’s private garage. With great effort, Tan Mu helped the tall Bo Sishen out of the car, dragged him into the elevator, and finally onto the sofa in the living room of the top-floor duplex, panting heavily.

Tan Mu checked the time and saw it was midnight. Seeing Bo Sishen dead drunk, he hurried to the kitchen to brew sobering tea for him.

Socializing was common, but it was usually something Bo Sishen handled well. However, tonight Bo Sishen drank one glass after another, completely out of character.

Tan Mu was shocked by Bo Sishen’s drinking speed. After all these years by Bo Sishen’s side, he had never seen him drink so much and get so drunk.

Tan Mu also didn’t understand why Bo Sishen returned to the Sakura Building instead of the manor.

While he was pondering, the man on the sofa moved slightly, his drowsy and deeply inebriated eyes opened slightly, looking around and asked, ”Where is this?”

”Sir, this is the Sakura Building.”

”Sakura...Building.” Bo Sishen raised his handsome eyebrows, severely drunk, seemingly not remembering much, and asked, ”Why am I here? Where is Nian Nian?”

Tan Mu looked resigned, ”Sir, you insisted on coming back here.”

Bo Sishen then fell silent. Tan Mu, seeing him close his eyes, thought he was asleep and was about to move him to the bedroom.

However, as Tan Mu approached, Bo Sishen suddenly opened his eyes wide, staring at the chandelier. Tan Mu asked, ”Sir, do you want to go back to the manor?”

Bo Sishen remained silent, his drunken eyes fixed on the ceiling as if deep in thought.

Tan Mu didn’t dare leave, fearing something might happen given how drunk Bo Sishen was.

He also knew that Sir had something on his mind tonight.

”You can go now.”

After a while, Bo Sishen spoke coolly.

”Sir?” Tan Mu looked at Bo Sishen in surprise. Did he want to stay alone at the Sakura Building tonight?
