Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 443: Chapter 444: A Perfect Match of Bumpkins

When the clothes arrived, Bo Sishen pulled a suitcase to the doorway of Mu Shini’s bedroom and knocked on the door.

Mu Shini was inside the room, passing the time and diverting her attention with a book. When she heard the knock on the door, she was startled. It took her a few seconds to catch her breath before she raised her voice and asked, ”Who is it?”

Countless black lines immediately crawled across Bo Sishen’s handsome face. He rubbed his forehead, shook his head, and said, ”Your husband.”

Mu Shini, hearing this, regained her composure, closed the book, stood up, walked to the bedroom door, opened it, and glared at Bo Sishen with furrowed brows: ”Uncle, stop talking nonsense here. What do you mean my husband? With that cowardly look of yours, you still want to be my husband?”

Bo Sishen leaned against the door frame, looking at her with an innocent yet charming expression, ”Mu Shini, only a country bumpkin like you would call me cowardly. A man as devastatingly handsome as me, and you look down on me? Maybe you should go see an eye doctor.”

Mu Shini’s pupils widened. Unconvinced and bewildered by his words, she cursed and said, ”You’re calling me a country bumpkin? Which of your eyes sees me as a country bumpkin? You’re the one who needs to see an eye doctor! You bumpkin!”

She was dressed fashionably, looking youthful and trendy, with a high rate of turning heads when she walked outside!

Bumpkin?

Bo Sishen’s eyes darkened.

She not only cursed but also found adjectives to insult him.

Instead of getting angry, he smiled, ”A country bumpkin and a bumpkin make a perfect pair.”

”You...”

Mu Shini furrowed her brows tightly, unable to think of a single word to retort Bo Sishen.

She didn’t say a word, turned around, and went back into the room, slamming the door shut.

With a bang, Bo Sishen realized she had quite a temper.

He raised his hand to knock on the door and said seriously, ”You don’t want the clothes anymore, bumpkin?”

Mu Shini was about to walk away but abruptly stopped because of Bo Sishen’s words. She reopened the door, came out of the bedroom, saw the suitcase, reached out to pull it away, wrinkled her nose at Bo Sishen, and said, ”Bumpkin!”

She then pulled the suitcase back into the room.

Bo Sishen watched her and smiled helplessly.

He raised his wrist to check the time and then went to handle some work.

But while Bo Sishen was working, he received a call from his father.

He hesitated for half a second and said, ”Father, is there something you need?”

Bao Jinpeng, hearing Bo Sishen’s words, frowned unhappily, ”You seem very reluctant to receive my call. Did I interrupt something fun?”

Bo Sishen frowned lightly, ”No.”

”Then what about my daughter-in-law? It’s been so long, and you still haven’t brought her to see me?”

”She’s quite busy with her studies. I’ll take her to the United Kingdom to see you when she has summer vacation,” Bo Sishen said in a low voice.

”Summer vacation is too far away! The school has just started, even if I can’t see her in person, you can at least have a video call with her for me?” Bao Jinpeng said.

”We’re not together, how can we have a video call?” Bo Sishen’s eyes darkened.

”Boy, you want to deceive your old man? Do you think I don’t know where my daughter-in-law is?” Bao Jinpeng sternly scolded with a frown.

”Father, when summer comes, I’ll naturally bring her back to see you,” Bo Sishen said deeply. ”If there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up first. I’m busy.”

”Wait!” Bao Jinpeng hurriedly stopped Bo Sishen from hanging up.

”What is it?” Bo Sishen frowned.

”Since you’re married, has that girl shown any signs of pregnancy?” Bao Jinpeng coughed lightly and asked.

Bo Sishen was stunned for a moment before he realized what his father was implying and said, ”Your legitimate grandson is already grown up, and now you want another grandson?”

Bo Sishen really couldn’t understand his father’s thinking.
