Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Chapter 147: Chapter 148

Led by the waiter, Bo Sishen and Mu Shini took the elevator to the most luxurious private room on the third floor.

As soon as Mu Shini sat down, she opened the menu. Gazing at the various types of hotpot bases, she hesitated about which one to have.

”Excuse me, do you have an extremely spicy base? I want the spiciest one!” Mu Shini imagined savoring authentic hotpot, deciding that it had to be so spicy it made her cry!

”Mu Shini, be careful with your stomach if you eat such spicy food,” Bo Sishen frowned.

”Uncle, you don’t understand! Since we are at the most authentic hotpot restaurant, of course, we have to order the spiciest one! Will you dare to try it?” Mu Shini closed the menu, smiling.

”Dare.” Looking at her cheerful smile, Bo Sishen nodded.

Watching her be so genuinely happy because of the food, he realized he was infected by her joy.

”Double portions of everything.” Bo Sishen instructed the waiter.

”Yes, sir.” The waiter placed the order.

”Uncle, you’re treating, right?” Mu Shini sat up straight, staring at Bo Sishen in disbelief.

”Hmm.” Bo Sishen nodded.

Mu Shini then patted her chest and sighed in relief, ”Thank goodness...”

”When a man and a woman go out for a meal, it’s normal for the man to pay. I haven’t sunk to the point where I need a woman to foot the bill.” Bo Sishen couldn’t help but laugh upon seeing her innocent face.

”Uncle, you’re such a gentleman!” Mu Shini gave Bo Sishen a thumbs-up and praised him with a big compliment!

Mu Shini turned to the waiter and said, ”We don’t need to bring out everything; just bring the freshest meat, about 20 servings! And add more vegetables...”

She looked at the prices, they were quite expensive, and the menu was so thick!

If they ordered double portions of everything, it would be so wasteful if they couldn’t finish it!

Meanwhile, Bo Sishen watched her innocent, radiant face. The warmth in his eyes gradually faded.

In the future, would there still be such opportunities to dine face-to-face alone with her?

Considering her age, maybe Bao Tinghao was right, she should be with someone her own age, someone she could relate to better.

Images of Bao Tinghao and Mu Shini together came to mind. They looked so young, and their energy made them a perfect match!

If Mu Shini eventually chose Bao Tinghao, would he, as he had said before, gracefully give up the marriage and let the pair – matched by age and appearance – be together?

”Uncle, do you want to order anything? I’ve finished ordering, it’s your turn.” Mu Shini handed the menu to Bo Sishen.

”You’ve ordered everything?” Bo Sishen asked plainly.

”Hmm.”

Bo Sishen told the waiter, ”Serve the dishes now.”

”Alright, please wait a moment!” The waiter retreated.

Outside the private room, the hotpot restaurant manager stood at the door. Seeing the waiter come out, he asked, ”Is it time to serve the food?”

”Yes, the gentleman said it’s okay to serve now.” The waiter nodded.

”Alright, you go in first to serve the tea while others bring the dishes sequentially.” The manager instructed hurriedly.

After giving instructions, the manager turned around and returned to his office, dialing a phone number.

Meanwhile, at Bao Family Manor in Qingcheng.

Tan Mu hung up the phone, worry evident on his face as he walked into the living room and saw Dr. Zhuo sitting on the sofa. He poured himself a glass of red wine.

”Dr. Zhuo, if the gentleman finds something amiss, he will surely fly into a rage, and we’ll all be in trouble. Is this really the right thing to do?”

Dr. Zhuo was calm as always. Compared to Tan Mu’s nervousness, Dr. Zhuo was much more composed, a sly light flickering in his eyes, ”Lao Tan, don’t worry. If your gentleman notices something, he indeed will be angry, but he is also a man, hungrier than most both physically and mentally...”
