The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Chapter 1460: Chapter 1453: Who Do You Think You Are? (Second Update)

”Hehe... Junior Brother, do you always enjoy speaking such serious nonsense?”

Liu Junge looked at Lin Tian with a serious and inscrutable expression and couldn’t help but laugh again.

”I am serious, how is it nonsense?”

A streak of black lines appeared on Lin Tian’s forehead as he shrugged, speechless.

The Chinese medicine in this world, although different from the mundane medicine and elixir path he knew in his past life, still shared the same essence and finality.

Here, Lin Tian had seen many of the Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs in his past life.

He naturally recognized the Heavenly Bee Grass and Luoshenzi.

And he understood the pharmacology of these herbs!

”Alright, Junior Brother Lin is just joking with us!”

Yu Ning also said with a smile, taking the notes from Lin Tian’s hand, and then said to him, ”When we go to class later, don’t talk nonsense! You’re just a freshman and haven’t been here long. You’ll understand this later!”

Well, they just don’t believe me!

Lin Tian twitched his mouth and didn’t say much more.

Soon after.

The group of four quickly walked to the depths of the Traditional Chinese Medicine School District.

Many large academic buildings were situated here.

Among them, one building was the tallest and most majestic.

Most of the tiered classrooms in the Traditional Chinese Medicine School District were concentrated here.

The First-Rank Tiered Classroom was the largest tiered classroom here.

Located in the most prominent position on the ground floor of the building.

When Lin Tian and Yu Ning arrived, people were already coming in one after another.

Entering the classroom, over a hundred people were already seated inside.

But it only occupied half of the tiered classroom.

This lecture was not mandatory, but fourth-year students were encouraged to attend.

It seemed mainly Pharmacy College and Life Sciences College students came.

Lin Tian glanced around but didn’t see Jiang Qianyu or Gao Xinhuan.

On the podium in the tiered classroom, there were lots of instruments, making Lin Tian feel overwhelmed.

These instruments included various test tubes, beakers, graduated cylinders, and other glass equipment and vessels.

Regarding the specific purposes and usage of these things, Lin Tian was clueless.

”No way, do they want me to use these things in class?”

Lin Tian looked a bit dazed, silently exasperated.

These things in front of him, he had seen them before but didn’t know how to use them.

”Lin Tian, what are you spacing out for, come sit here quickly!”

Yu Ning’s urging voice came to his ear, and then a smooth and soft palm grasped Lin Tian’s hand, pulling him to a row of seats near the front.

”This spot is closer to the podium; when the teacher lectures, we can hear more clearly and ask questions!”

Yu Ning pulled Lin Tian to sit down and said excitedly.

Lin Tian checked the time; class was set for nine-thirty, and it was still ten minutes away.

Since Jiang Qianyu and Gao Xinhuan hadn’t arrived, he might as well sit down for now.

”Senior Sister Yu Ning, I have a few questions...”

After sitting down, Lin Tian scratched his nose, a bit awkwardly, as he spoke to Yu Ning.

Beside him, Liu Junge and Han Xiang couldn’t help but look over as well.

Having seen Lin Tian speak so seriously earlier, they thought he would continue, and now seeing him humbly ask questions, they also found it quite amusing.

”Hehe, Junior Brother Lin, aren’t you supposedly some pharmacology master, how come there’s something you don’t understand?”

Liu Junge seemed to want to tease Lin Tian, unable to help laughing as she spoke.

Sitting beside him, Han Xiang mischievously winked at Lin Tian.

”You two, stop teasing Lin Tian!”

Yu Ning glared at them and then said to Lin Tian, ”Go ahead and ask, as long as I know it!”

”What are those instruments on the podium used for, what are their main functions?”

Lin Tian pointed towards the heap of equipment, humbly asking Yu Ning for guidance.

Seeing Lin Tian’s sincere question, Liu Junge and Han Xiang no longer interrupted.

Yu Ning glanced up and smiled, ”Looks like you’ve forgotten what you learned in physics and chemistry during high school! Those instruments are used for configuring and brewing medicine, more advanced and precise than the medicine pots used by old Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners!”

”That’s a test tube, a reagent reaction vessel mainly used at room temperature or when heated, but it shouldn’t be subjected to rapid heating or cooling to prevent explosions!”

”That one’s a beaker, it has graduations, used for preparing solutions and can also serve as a vessel for multiple reagent reactions...”

”That’s a graduated cylinder...”

”Below are medicine storage configuration vessels...”

...

Yu Ning was very patient.

She practically explained every instrument and tool on the podium to Lin Tian.

After listening, Lin Tian couldn’t help but nod.

Though he had knowledge of high school physics and chemistry, he had forgotten specifics regarding the current equipment.

These things, which he could use or not, required only one Pill Furnace for him to concoct any elixir, medicine, or medicine liquid.

Even more accurately than using these instruments.

However.

Since he’s the one teaching the students, and they can’t achieve that level of skill, using the instruments in front of them would be the best option.

”I generally understand now!”

Lin Tian nodded gratefully to Yu Ning and smiled, ”However, to avoid unnecessary errors later, please accompany me on the podium for the lecture. If we need to prepare the medicine, you can assist me!”

What?

Yu Ning suddenly couldn’t keep up with Lin Tian’s train of thought and topic change, looking bewildered.

Liu Junge and Han Xiang also stared wide-eyed at them.

”Hey, hey, Junior Brother Lin, are you going to lecture us? Be careful when Principal Gao comes; you might get thrown out!”

Liu Junge rolled her eyes at Lin Tian, looking speechless.

Yu Ning gave a wry smile and shook her head.

She felt she understood Lin Tian’s character—being serious was quite cute, but the change between seriousness and playfulness was too swift.

”Xiao Ning, were you here early!”

Suddenly, a voice came from beside them.

A few youths stood by the seats of Lin Tian’s group of four.

This was the third row, more in the middle, offering better seats.

The young man in the front wore gold-rimmed glasses, with eyes clearly alight with affection when looking at Yu Ning.

”Chen Min, you’re here too!”

Seeing these youths, especially the young man with gold-rimmed glasses, Yu Ning slightly frowned but quickly smiled and said, ”The class is about to start; find a seat as well!”

”No, I want to sit here!”

Chen Min pointed to the seat next to Yu Ning, smiling as he spoke.

But Lin Tian was already sitting there.

Seeing this, Yu Ning looked visibly uneasy, seemingly disliking Chen Min.

”Then you all sit down; I’m just about to lecture on the stage!”

Naturally oblivious to Yu Ning’s thoughts, Lin Tian spoke, seeing that someone needed the seat, he didn’t mind occupying it.

”Hey, I haven’t seen you before! Where did this guy come from?”

At this time, a chubby and hefty young man standing behind Chen Min looked at Lin Tian with a face full of surprise and curiosity.

Hmm?

Originally intending to give up the seat, Lin Tian’s expression darkened, and he sat back down again, looking up at Chen Min and then staring at that young man, ”And who the hell are you?”
