Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 1018: Chapter 1018: Yaya and Lucia’s Improvement!

Tang Li Xue shook her head and uttered to her perfect copy: ”Anyway, we have to get ready to depart tomorrow. I will check the training progress of Yaya, Lucia, Xi’er, and Little Loki, while you can try to test the strength of [Imperial Frost Wyrm] after it evolves.”

The Great Wei’s Capital City was already very dangerous the last time they went there.

After the second prince passed away, the situation in the Great Wei’s Capital City deteriorated further, which would make the situation even more chaotic and dangerous than before.

Tang Li Xue planned to check the growth of [Imperial Frost Wyrm], Yaya, Lucia, Xi’er, and Little Loki, so she could make plans based on their overall strength.

When Tang Li Xue stepped onto the Wind Floor, she saw that Yaya was currently holding a crystal ball with an exhausted expression.

At first, Tang Li Xue thought that Yaya was only playing with a crystal ball, but she immediately noticed that the crystal ball was not a simple device.

”That crystal ball... I see, so Yaya was practicing wind energy compression with it?” Tang Li Xue guessed.

But Tang Li Xue quickly realized that she was wrong.

”No, this energy fluctuation... Profound Law of Wind?!” Tang Li Xue widened her topaz blue eyes in shock and disbelief.

She hastily opened her System and checked Yaya’s status window.

-----------------------------------------------

Tang Li Xue gasped again in surprise when she saw Yaya’s improvement from the System’s status window.

Yaya’s strength had improved so much by leaps and bounds!

First, Yaya’s level had been increased from 21 to 47!

It had jumped by a full 26 levels!

But it actually made sense since Yaya had consumed so much wind-elemental precious resources every day for more than 10 months straight when they were practicing in this [Nine Elementals Immortal Pagoda].

Unfortunately, Yaya could not evolve to a higher grade yet. She was already Rare Grade now, so she might need to reach level 60 or so if she wanted to evolve to Epic Grade.

Anyway, Yaya’s overall stats, including her HP, had increased greatly compared to before, even without evolving.

Her [Breezing Step] had been improved to [Instantaneous Wind Step].

Tang Li Xue had never seen Yaya use this [Instantaneous Wind Step] yet, but she could already guess just from its name that Yaya’s speed should increase a lot compared to before with this [Instantaneous Wind Step].

Not only that, but many of her attack skills had also evolved.

[Compressed Wind Blade] had been upgraded to [Rotating Wind Cutter].

[High-Pressure Air Bullet] had advanced to [Compressed Air Bullet].

[Cyclone Storm] was improved to [Giant Cyclone Storm].

As for her [Compressed Wind Sword] and [Vacuum Slash], it seemed they were merged into [Vacuum Sword] rather than upgraded like the other skills.

Yaya also learned a new skill called [Wind Explosion] and a fusion skill called [Armor of Wind].

But in Tang Li Xue’s opinion, Yaya’s biggest improvement should be the Profound Law of Wind, which she had comprehended up to 26,4%.

It should be known that Tang Li Xue had practiced the Profound Law of Heat and Cold from [Yin and Yang Chaotic Formula] for so long, but she had only reached 12,5% at this point.

Despite that, Tang Li Xue did not feel envious of Yaya at all. On the contrary, she felt very happy and proud of Yaya.

After a while, Yaya finally noticed Tang Li Xue, who had been watching her practicing.

”Yaaaa~?! Yaaaya~!” Yaya happily jumped and flew toward Tang Li Xue at breakneck speed.

Yaya’s speed was so much faster compared to before that Tang Li Xue only felt a gust of wind blowing toward her, then Yaya suddenly appeared right in front of her and hugged her neck affectionately.

Tang Li Xue did not reject Yaya and let Yaya shower her cheek with kisses as usual.

”Yaya, you have become so strong right now! Hehe, then I will be counting on you to protect me from any bad guys later, okay~?” Tang Li Xue playfully said to Yaya in a teasing tone.

Yaya proudly patted her flat chest while putting on an adorable smug expression as if she were saying: ”Don’t worry! Leave it to me! I will definitely cover you from now on!”

Tang Li Xue laughed in amusement as she patted and caressed Yaya’s tiny head gently.

A cute and small green mountain bluebird landed on Tang Li Xue’s shoulder, then arrogantly reprimanded Yaya: ”Humph~! What are you proud of?! You are a Wind Elemental Spirit, but you have not even completely mastered the Profound Law of Wind yet! How laughable!”

Yes, this cute and small green mountain bluebird was the Wind Guardian.

Yaya instantly puffed her cheeks in anger and chattered back to Wind Guardian: ”Yaaa yayayaa?! Yaaayaa!”

”What are you talking about?! What do you mean that I have lost to you before?! That was five against one! That was not fair at all, okay?!” Wind Guardian replied to Yaya in a displeased tone.

Then Yaya and Wind Guardian began to quarrel fiercely with each other.

At first, Tang Li Xue planned to bring Yaya with her to see the others, but who knew that both Yaya and Wind Guardian were so stubborn.

It seemed that they would squabble with each other for quite a while, so Tang Li Xue could only excuse herself and go check the others first.

Tang Li Xue went up to the Flame Floor, where Lucia should be practicing with Fire Guardian.

As soon as Tang Li Xue stepped onto the Flame Floor...

BOOOOOOOM~!

A great explosion suddenly occurred!

Tang Li Xue’s pink lips twitched slightly as she hastily used her [Energy Manipulation] to create a transparent barrier around her.

The great explosion, the crimson flames, and the golden magma were all blocked easily by [Energy Manipulation]’s transparent barrier.

After Tang Li Xue’s evolution, the power of her [Energy Manipulation] had improved so much, according to the improvement of her overall stats, that even the great explosion caused by Fire Guardian could not easily break it apart.

What surprised Tang Li Xue was that Lucia could actually also tank the great explosion with ease without using any of her skills and [Silver Dragon Skin Pearl]’s armor!

Then Lucia rapidly flapped her wings to fly with lightning speed!

A few milliseconds after Lucia flew, a flame beam shot at where Lucia was standing before!

”Come on~! Why are you standing idly there just now?! Are you stupid or what?! Do you want to become a punching bag for your enemies?! Avoid any attacks if you can, and only block them if you can no longer avoid it!” The stern sound of Fire Guardian echoed in the Flame Floor.

Tang Li Xue raised her eyebrow in surprise while she muttered softly: ”Wow, that fire cat is surprisingly so harsh like a Spartan.”

”Hey~! I am not a cat! I am a majestic Golden Flame Lynx!” The Fire Guardian yelled angrily at Tang Li Xue.

”Oh? You can hear it? Your hearing is so sharp!” Tang Li Xue chuckled playfully at the Fire Guardian.

The Fire Guardian lazily rolled its eyes as it replied: ”That is not something to be proud of. All lynxes have extremely sharp hearing.”

Lucia happily flashed toward Tang Li Xue, then she affectionately nudged her feathered head to Tang Li Xue’s cheek.

Tang Li Xue patted and caressed Lucia’s feathered head gently until she narrowed her eyes comfortably.

Tang Li Xue also secretly opened Lucia’s status window in her System to check her progress.

-----------------------------------------------

[True Name: Lucia]

[Species: Golden Winged Wind Riding Bird]

[Grade: Rare]

[Bloodline: Golden-Winged Great Peng (Sealed)]

[Level 45]

Divine Ability: [Golden Light Spell], [Flash Speed], [Gigantification], [Herculean Strength], [Golden Vajra Body]

[HP: 198,500/195,000]

Strength: 4,200

Agility: 8,600

Toughness: 7,300

[Technique: Profound Law of Light (14,3%)]

[Skill: Long Distance Fast Flight (Mastered), Blade Feather Storm (Lv1), Blinding Light (Lv2), Blade Feather Rapid Slashes (Lv1), Rapid Peck (Mastered), Crushing Claw (Lv1), Flash Flicker (Lv1), Heavy Trample (Lv1)]

-----------------------------------------------

Surprisingly, Lucia’s improvement was not less compared to Yaya at all!

Yaya was trained by Wind Guardian, so it made sense that she made a great improvement since they have the same element.

At first, Tang Li Xue only thought that Lucia could improve her defense by being trained by the Fire Guardian, but who knew that the Fire Guardian was actually also a great teacher!

Many of Lucia’s skills had been improved and upgraded under Fire Guardian’s training!

Lucia’s [Blade Feather Projectiles] was upgraded to [Blade Feather Storm].

Her [Blade Feather Slash] was advanced to [Blade Feather Rapid Slashes].

There might be only a few changes in its name, but Tang Li Xue’s hunch told that this [Blade Feather Rapid Slashes] would be Lucia’s new strongest attack skill.

Even Lucia’s most unremarkable skill, [Tearing Claw], had been upgraded to [Crushing Claw].

She also had two new skills called [Flash Flicker] and [Heavy Trample].

But just like Yaya, Lucia’s biggest improvement should be her newly comprehended [Profound Law of Light], which had already reached 14,3%.
