Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 925: Open Conspiracy!

Tang Li Xue followed the Jinyiwei people as they confiscated her space pouch and led her out of the Imperial Palace.

Before Tang Li Xue stepped out of the Third Prince’s courtyard, she secretly glanced at her room while silently thinking: ’I count on you, Yaya.’

After the Jinyiwei people and Tang Li Xue disappeared from there, Yaya suddenly jumped out of nowhere inside Tang Li Xue’s room.

No one was able to see Yaya because she was in an invisible state thanks to her [Traceless Wind Cover].

Yaya hastily flew out from Tang Li Xue’s room with a space pouch in her grasp.

It did not take long for her to find Little Loki who was still wandering freely around the Imperial Palace in order to eavesdropping information for Tang Li Xue.

”Yaayaa~! Yayayaaya~! (Not good~! Sister Xue got caught by bad people~!)” Yaya impatiently informed Little Loki.

The fierce evil aura immediately exploded out in anger from Little Loki’s tiny body when it heard what had happened to Tang Li Xue from Yaya.

Thankfully before Little Loki could do something rash, Yaya continued to tell Little Loki about Tang Li Xue’s further instruction: ”Yaya yaa Yayaya ya yaya. (Sister Xue said we have to find Sister Xi’er first and make further plans together as soon as possible.)”

Little Loki calmed down its anger and suppressed its fierce evil aura, then nodded at Yaya with a solemn expression.

Both of them hastily headed out of the Imperial Palace to look for Xi’er.

.....

Right at this time, Jinyiwei guards had already escorted Tang Li Xue out of the Imperial Palace, and they urged her to get on their carriage.

Even though Tang Li Xue was not tied or handcuffed, but the Jinyiwei guards guarded her so tightly that it should have been impossible for her to run away from them.

Tang Li Xue also knew that she might be able to use her [Shadow Flash] to get away from these Jinyiwei guards, but she would definitely get caught by them again in seconds.

It could not be helped since most of her strength had not recovered yet.

Her current strength which was equal to high-rank Acupuncture Opening Stage means nothing in front of these Jinyiwei guards who had the cultivation of Core Formation Stage, and the cultivation level of their captain or leader even reached Nascent Soul Stage.

Tang Li Xue followed their instruction as she obediently got into the carriage with some Jinyiwei guards along with their captain while the other Jinyiwei guards were riding on their horses and escorted around the carriage.

”Err, excuse me, so... Where are you taking me now?” Tang Li Xue asked curiously as the carriage got further and further from the Imperial Palace.

The Jinyiwei guard’s captain raised his eyebrow and replied with a stern cold expression: ”To the prison of course.”

Tang Li Xue’s pink lips twitched slightly as she muttered in annoyance: ”Oh, all right. So, we are going to the prison now. Okay, thank you very much for the answer, smart guy~!”

The other Jinyiwei guards who rode the carriage chuckled slightly. They wanted to laugh but did not dare to laugh, so they could only muffle their laugh.

The Jinyiwei captain glared at the others before he said coldly to Tang Li Xue again: ”Heavenly Prison to be exact.”

”You better pray that His Highness Third Prince really cherishes you very much so he would redeem you free as soon as possible since I dare to guarantee that you would not like staying in Heavenly Prison for too long.” The Jinyiwei captain added in a mocking tone while staring wantonly at the stunning Tang Li Xue with a lewd stare.

Tang Li Xue’s slender body shuddered a bit in worry.

She instinctively guessed that the ’Heavenly Prison’ Jinyiwei captain had talked about should not be a good place.

Tang Li Xue felt flustered but she immediately calmed down again after she thought about the preparations she had made earlier.

Tang Li Xue had great confidence that the Third Prince would definitely redeem her from prison as soon as he knew about it, but she was clearly not the type of person to rely too much on others whom she had just met for a few days.

’I can only hope everything will be okay.’ Tang Li Xue whispered in her mind with a faint feeling of uneasiness.

.....

As the Jinyiwei carriage headed straight to Heavenly Prison, Little Loki and Yaya who had already felt the Imperial Palace finally managed to find Xi’er with the help of the Communication Talisman given by Tang Li Xue.

To be exact, it was Xi’er who came toward them instead, and they bumped into each other on the street near the Imperial Palace.

”What is wrong? Did something happen to Sister Xue?” Xi’er hastily asked in a worried tone.

”Ya, Yaayayaa~! (Yes, something bad happened to Sister Xue~!)” Yaya replied as she flew swiftly to approach Xi’er.

”Meow Mew Nyaoww~! Meoow Meow! (She got kidnapped by bad guys~! Let’s save her now!)” Little Loki also jumped to Xi’er while anxiously meowing at her.

Xi’er frowned deeply when she heard Little Loki and Yaya’s anxious voices, so she quickly tried to calm them down and dragged them to a quieter place: ”Let’s go~! This is not the right place to talk.”

Xi’er took Little Loki and Yaya to the inn where she stayed and began to interrogate them about what had happened to Tang Li Xue in detail.

It did not take long for Xi’er to conclude who were the people that caught Tang Li Xue since she had already investigated a lot of things about the Great Wei Dynasty in these few days.

”Those people in black uniforms should be from Jinyiwei. Those people are truly a troublesome bunch.” Xi’er muttered in a solemn tone.

Xi’er patted Little Loki and Yaya’s tiny heads gently while saying to them: ”You two do not need to worry too much. Sister Xue should be all right. Well, at least for now...”

Then Xi’er took out the space pouch that Tang Li Xue entrusted to Yaya to be given to Xi’er.

There was the Imperial City’s map and the map of the Great Wei Dynasty along with several routes of escape planned by Tang Li Xue.

Of course, they were only half complete. Xi’er needed to adjust and check these escape routes again as the final touch.

But when Xi’er checked the maps and information written by Tang Li Xue, she suddenly frowned deeply and muttered in panic: ”Wait a minute... Those Jinyiwei people who caught Sister Xue, don’t tell me that they would bring Sister Xue to the Heavenly Prison?! Not good-!”

There were many prisons in this Imperial City, but Heavenly Prison was the special one among them.

It was mainly because Heavenly Prison was specifically used to imprison important people such as corrupt officials, immortal sect elders, demon cult members, and so on.

Each of them was an extremely troublesome guy who got arrested by Jinyiwei’s agents or government officials.

From the information Xi’er got, the Heavenly Prison consists of nine underground floors.

The bigger the sin and the stronger the criminals, the deeper they would be imprisoned in the Heavenly Prison.

It was even rumored that on the ninth underground floor of the Heavenly Prison, there was a demon cult leader with a cultivation level above the Nascent Soul Stage.

He was caught because he wanted to sacrifice tens of millions of people in the Great Wei Dynasty’s capital city to break through to a higher cultivation level.

What made Xi’er really worried was because there was news that the Jinyiwei’s agents managed to catch the demon cult’s holy son, and he would be transferred to the Heavenly Prison today.

The demon cult’s holy son was from the Blood God Cult, and these people from the Blood God Cult were notorious for being insane and fanatic.

Just by imprisoning Tang Li Xue in the Heavenly Prison on the same day as this Blood God Cult’s holy son, Jinyiwei’s people clearly did not have any good intentions toward Tang Li Xue.

Xi’er was afraid that Tang Li Xue would get involved in the matters between Jinyiwei and the Blood God Cult because of that!

Then Xi’er suddenly realized something as she murmured: ”No, this should be the open conspiracy deliberately directed at Sister Xue. If something bad really happened during Sister Xue’s stay in the Heavenly Prison, even the Third Prince would not be able to bail Sister Xue out from the Heavenly Prison later.”

Xi’er took a deep breath while rubbing her forehead and thinking deeply.

To be honest, the current situation was not looking good for Tang Li Xue in Xi’er’s opinion.

Xi’er’s eyes brightened as the light of inspiration flashed in her mind, and she exclaimed while slapping at the table excitedly: ”Wait a second... The situation might not be looking good for Sister Xue, but if we try to look from another perspective, isn’t this the best chance for Sister Xue to escape from this place?!”

”Yes, that is right~! We can use Blood God Cult as our cover! When the Blood God Cult tried to save their Holy Son, we can take that chance to also save Sister Xue from the Heavenly Prison, then we will escape safely together from this Imperial City.” Xi’er explained to Little Loki and Yaya cheerfully.

The eyes of Little Loki and Yaya also brightened in excitement after they heard Xi’er’s plan. Explore stories at .Côm

”I just hope Sister Xue can hold on for a while in the Heavenly Prison. At least until the Blood God Cult made their move to save their Holy Son.” Xi’er continued to say again in a worried tone.
