Reincarnated As a Fox With System

Chapter 151 151: Trapped!

Instructor Mei Lan giggled when she was looking at their pitiful condition but her next words instantly brought despair to Li Jing and the others.

”All of you come too late today. The punishment will be doubled from yesterday. Minus sixty credits!” Instructor Mei Lan still smiled gently while saying their punishment as if she was rewarding them instead.

Li Jing and the others immediately fell into despair and begged Instructor Mei Lan to lighten their punishment.

Instructor Mei Lan chuckled happily at them made Li Jing and the others have some hopes.

”Nope! Letʼs start our class today!” Instructor Mei Lan clapped her hands.

Li Jing and the others: ”.....”

Instructor Mei Lan reviewed back all of their [Telepathy] skill for the next hour and pointed several of their mistakes so they could fix it then they continued to their next lesson.

Instructor Mei Lan gave each of them another jade slip this time and they tapped it onto their forehead again like before.

However, the content of the jade slip this time made them all completely dumbfounded.

”Errr... Instructor Mei Lan, please tell me that this is a super-powerful ancient martial art...” Tang Li Xue said with her sweet childish voice but her expression was extremely weird.

/p>

”No, that is a set of dance movements. We will practice this dance from now on for one week!” Instructor Mei Lan said with a serious tone.

”But why?! We enter this Myriad Foxes Academy because we want to get strong!” Surprisingly, Bing Yi was the first one to complain, not Tang Li Xue.

”If even one of you can do this set of dance movements today, I will reward each of you 100 credits!” Instructor Mei Lan said leisurely. She was too lazy to explain the effect of this set of dance movements would bring to them.

Li Jing and the othersʼ eyes turned red when they heard that. They worked for the entire night and could only get less than 100 credits but now Instructor Mei Lan promised to give each of them 100 credits if they could do that set of dance movements. How could they not tempt by it?

They immediately went took their position and tried it but they keep failed again and again.

In one look Tang Li Xue already knew that all of these dance moves were not simple at all.

Each of these dance moves looked graceful and beautiful to look at.

Combined with the beauty of their fox race when they turned into human form, they looked even more alluring when doing this dance and they could easily seduce any male human.

However, each movement in this dance was harder than the extreme yoga in her previous life. They need high balance and flexibility to do it perfectly but they all only got their human form just recently.

/p>

It was clear that these dance movesʼ aim was to assist them and get them used to their human form so they could fight properly in their human form as soon as possible.

Tang Li Xue was a former human a few months ago but she was reincarnated as a fox now after all.

Born as a human and born as a fox then regain her human form has a huge difference! It was something like when you were used to an automatic car and then suddenly you switched to a manual car. So she still at least needs one day to get used to her human form again.

However, even after she got used to her human form now, she still could still not finish this set of dance moves because it was simply too difficult to the point of a nightmare.

For example, the movement where they must lower their knees for a few inches until they almost kneeled but their knees must not touch the ground, then they must bended their body 90 degrees backward in that position. They almost broke their spine when they tried to do that and they all stumbled backward.

In the end, no one could even finish this set of dance moves until the class ended and could only go back full of disappointment.

”Oh yes, I must remind you all. If you still cannot finish this set of dance movements after three days, I will deduct 300 credits from each of you! So you all better take fewer missions from now on and start training at home!” Instructor Mei Lan warned them sternly before dismissed the class for today.

Li Jing and the others groaned in fear and despair when they heard Instructor Mei Lanʼs warning, even Tang Li Xue frowned a bit when she heard that.

After their class ended, Li Jing, Tang Li Xue, and the others went to the restaurant on the first floor of the residential building to eat their lunch.

/p>

Tang Li Xue took this chance to ask them what happened last night to make them looked so haggard like now and they started to tell Tang Li Xue everything.

Apparently, when Li Jing and the others wanted to take the easy F-grade mission like sweeping the street or pulling the grasses, all of those missions had already been taken by the others so they were forced to take the harder ones.

The harder F-grade missions were actually far more dangerous though it will not endanger their life, such as becoming target practice for sophomore students or become a guinea pig to test the pill effect from a beginner alchemist or feeding a vicious pet at beast lordʼs level. Each one of those missions was more than enough to make them lose one or two limbs.

Just hearing their story was enough to make Tang Li Xueʼs scalp went numb.

”And here I thought that sweeping the street and pulling the grasses are already bad enough... Good luck to all of you! May God always bless all of you!” Tang Li Xue raised her thumb and offered her condolence... I mean her pray toward all of her comrades.

Tang Li Xue treated all of them for a lunch today and her 190 credits have shrunk to 20 credits but she did not worry at all since she could make more talismans today and sell it all to auction house again like yesterday.

Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao were really worried about her since she used so many of her credits to treat them all for a lunch but she only said that she has a way to gain credits quickly.

After eating their lunch, Li Jing, Bing Yi, Hei Yinghao, and the others went to Mission Hall to take some F-grade missions again while Tang Li Xue went back to her room with Yaya.

Tang Li Xue entered her study room, she took out her golden [Inscription Pen] from her system inventory, and all of her blank talisman papers from her space pouch.

/p>

”Okay, letʼs begin today!” Tang Li Xue grasped her fist tightly and shouted loudly to motivate herself.

Today she wanted to inscribe her [Self-Healing] passive skill onto the blank talisman papers. If she really succeeded, she could use this talisman to heal her comrades in critical condition later!

But unfortunately, the reality was really harsh...

POOOFFF... POOOFFF... POOOFFF... POOOFFF... POOOFFF...

It was not as smooth as she thought it to be. She almost lost her patience after failed for five times consecutively.

POOOFFF~~!!!

The sixth talisman paper also turned to dust after Tang Li Xue failed to inscribe her [Self-Healing] skill onto it.

”Fuuuh... Calm down! Letʼs try to make some [Talisman of Dash] again like yesterday.” Tang Li Xue rubbed her forehead with her finger.

Ding!

/p>

[Host successfully inscribed the Talisman of Dash +1!]

[Inscriptionistʼs proficiency has increased!]

Tang Li Xue sighed in relief. Her luck was not as bad as she thought it to be. She managed to make two [Talisman of Dash +1!] in twelve tries. If she sold it with yesterdayʼs price, she could get almost 1,000 credits!

But when she decided to try to make [Self-Healing] talisman again, she started to feel dizzy and her mind assaulted by a head-splitting headache.

Tang Li Xue sighed in helplessness and frustration while thinking: ʼAs I expect, my spirit is still too weak. Thatʼs why Gan Aomiao can control me so easily with her divine ability. Even now, I can only try to inscribe the rune for 18-19 times. I will probably fell unconscious if I try to inscribe more than that.ʼ

Tang Li Xue gritted her teeth and withstood the head-splitting headache. She decided to try once more for one last time before she was going to rest.

Different from [Dash] rune, the [Self-Healing] rune has two syllables so the difficulty to inscribe it was more than double than [Dash] rune.

If [Dash] rune in our language was ʼIʼ word then [Self-Healing] rune in our language was ʼBʼ word.

Tang Li Xue focused all of her attention on the golden [Inscription Pen] in her hand and the blank talisman paper in front of her then she started to inscribe the [Self-Healing] rune really carefully and slowly.

/p>

She must admit that after her first failure in inscribed the [Self-Healing] rune, she started to feel agitated and anxious which resulted in her continuous failures.

Ding!

[Host successfully inscribed the Talisman of Healing +2!]

[Inscriptionistʼs proficiency has increased!]

[Inscriptionistʼs proficiency has leveled up to level 3 (Beginner)!]

ʼYes! Finally, I succeed! Muahahaha... and itʼs +2! Not only +1!ʼ Tang Li Xue laughed maniacally and jumped around happily while holding the [Talisman of Healing] tightly in her hands.

ʼLetʼs see what is the effect?!ʼ Tang Li Xue licked her pinkish lips and appraised the [Talisman of Healing] in her hands with her basic [All Knowing Eyes].

[Talisman of Healing +2]

[Effect: Activated Self-Healing skill. (Heal 1% of maximum HP every 10 seconds for 100 seconds.)]

/p>

[+1 Effect: Heal +0.5% of maximum HP every 10 seconds. Duration +30 seconds.]

[+2 Effect: Heal +1% of maximum HP every 10 seconds. Duration +70 seconds.]

Tang Li Xue almost fainted in shock and happiness when she saw the OP effect of the talisman in her hands.

ʼWhat the hell?! Doesnʼt it mean it will heal 2.5% of maximum HP every 10 seconds for 200 seconds?! Errr... Let me count first... Woah, it means this talisman will heal 50% HP after 200 seconds!ʼ Tang Li Xueʼs pinkish lips twitched violently in surprise when she saw the talisman effect.

She was really torn between sell this talisman to get more credits or keep it so she can use it when her comrade was critically wounded.

In the end, she decided to keep it for now but she would definitely sell the next one if she managed to inscribe more of this [Talisman of Healing] later.

Tang Li Xue felt she could no longer inscribe any more Talisman for today or she would certainly faint. Her soul had already reached her limit after trying to inscribe the rune onto the blank talisman papers for 18 times.

She stored her golden [Inscription Pen] back into her system inventory and threw all of her talisman papers back into her space pouch before she went out from the residential building with Yaya and heading straight to the auction house.

Her luck was quite good and she managed to sell the two [Talisman of Dash +1] for 1220 credits. After the auction house cut it by 20% for their fee, she still managed to get 976 credits in the end.

/p>

Everything seems so good today and Tang Li Xue kept grinning ear to ear in blissful and happiness. She even told Yaya that she could order more expensive delicacies for today.

She already decided to treat Bing Yi and Hei Yinghao for a dinner tonight in the first-floor restaurant with these credits too.

Unfortunately for Tang Li Xue, she was fated to face something unusual tonight.

.....

The skies already turned dark when Tang Li Xue came out from the auction house.

However, she started to feel something was not right when she was on her way back from the auction house towards the residential building.

She did not spot anyone along her way!

She also felt that she was already walking for a long time but she still did not reach her destination.

There were several hundreds of thousands of foxes in this Myriad Foxes Academy. The population here could even match the large capital city in the human world so it was impossible for this road to be this empty!

/p>

Tang Li Xue frowned deeper as she quickly opened Yayaʼs window status and pushed the button in it.

Yayaʼs tiny figure that leisurely sat on the top of Tang Li Xueʼs head vanished after Tang Li Xue pushed the button.

Tang Li Xue also activated her [Ethereal Form] immediately and her loli figure vanished into thin air.

ʼWhat exactly happened here? Is someone targeting me? To rob all of my talismans and credits? Impossible! All of my talismans are only at the basic level and 1,000 credits are worth almost nothing here!ʼ Tang Li Xue started to feel dread the more she thought about it.

The person that could set this kind of space locking array to separate her from the real road without her realizing it must be someone very strong and unfathomable.

But Tang Li Xue still really did not get it why they were targeting her.

ʼMaybe the secret about my Flame of Pride already known by someone else? It should be impossible, right?! I never told anyone about it and I was already very careful to never use it even in all the dangerous trials before! I did not even use it when I am trapped in the illusion at the last trial!ʼ

ʼMaybe someone knew about my godly golden [Inscription Pen] and decided to rob it from me now? Possibly... but if I am not wrong, all the items from the system should be invisible to anyone else other than me so how could they know about it?!ʼ

Tang Li Xue really could not think of any reason for anyone to targeting her so she decided to find the reason later and trying her best to find the exit from this sealed space.

/p>

There was no doubt that this sealed space was made from a high-level array and the one who created this high-level array must be a master level inscriptionist with extremely high attainment.
