Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 667  Drink And Enjoy

The group returned home. Mother-in-law Ruth was in excellent spirits. After taking a look inside the refrigerator, she said, ”There are still a few side dishes left, and thereʼs also some roasted chicken from the evening offerings or something like that. Which one of you wants to eat it?”

”Someone wants to eat, her stomach is growling, sheʼs going to wash up first.”

Nancy also went upstairs to freshen up and change clothes in a wonderfully cheerful mood.

Ruth then busied herself, arranging the late night snack with exceptional wifely virtue and efficiency.

Seeing Arthur standing in front of the liquor cabinet, she snapped at him with ill temper, ”Sheʼs waiting on her son in law, not on you. Are you a dead man or what? Canʼt you even get the bowls?”

Her attitude toward her father in law remained perpetually harsh. Arthur was not a man without a temper.

In the past, a quarrel would have certainly erupted, but now Arthur said absolutely nothing and went directly to fetch the bowls and chopsticks.

The primary reason for this change was none other than Luis. The second son in lawʼs status within the household was now so elevated that Arthur had no desire to argue in front of him.

This was reality, this was the sheer magic of money. Having borrowed five hundred thousand dollars from him and having been made to swallow the cost of that Benz C as a patsy.

With the son in law backing her up like this, Arthur simply had to obediently swallow this resentment, allowing Ruth to finally hold her head high and feel a long overdue sense of triumph.

Mother-in-law Ruth was quite shrewd in this moment. Feeling a rush of satisfaction deep within, she knew full well that all of this was thanks to her son in law.

Seizing a moment when her husband Arthur wasnʼt paying attention, she secretly cast her son in law a coquettish, amorous glance brimming with allure. As she brushed past him, her hand even grazed the crotch of his pants.

This was blatant, unadulterated seduction... She never expected her mother in law to be so deliciously lewd and flirtatious. It seemed that even with Arthur present, she harbored a deeply concealed lascivious side.

When one thought about it, it wasnʼt strange at all. Her husband kept a mistress outside and she had effectively endured a living widowhood for so many years. When it came to straying from her marriage, she didnʼt feel the slightest psychological burden whatsoever.

Even though he was her own son in law, the only lingering sense of guilt was tied to betraying her own daughter.

However, the son in lawʼs gentleness, his thoughtfulness, his kindness toward her, and the way he consistently stood up for her and sheltered her.

All of this allowed her to experience the exquisite happiness of having a pillar of support, of being protected by someone. A profound sense of security enveloped her, making her feel just like a young girl experiencing the first stirrings of romantic awakening.

It was exactly like her falling out with Old Peter. Back then, with her children still young, she had no choice but to rely on her own shrewish, sharp tongue to fight back and endure hardship alone...

But now, with her son in law shielding her from the wind and rain, acting as a safe harbor that nurtured and protected her, the surging emotions within her heart were all the more intense. And along with it, the carnal and sensual desires coursing through her body were equally tempestuous.

”Dad, what kind of alcohol do you want to drink?”

Nancyʼs relationship with her father had always been quite good. The beauty fresh from her bath descended the stairs in a spaghetti strap dress and sweetly asked a question by the liquor cabinet.

Her perspective differed somewhat from her motherʼs. Today, both her brother in law and her father had come to provide support, so she considered both of them to be meritorious contributors.

”Hey, thatʼs the alcohol our son in law offered up to honor me. Itʼs not meant to honor him.”

The entire cabinet of expensive foreign liquor had actually been purchased by Nancy herself. The same went for the cigarettes and other items, which allowed her to show off splendidly in front of her former classmates who worked at those tobacco and liquor stores.

Naturally, this was also Luisʼs doing, a way to cycle through his savings capital and simultaneously make his mother in law feel an immense sense of pride and prestige.

Ruth finished her preparations and sat down, naturally taking the seat right beside Luis. As soon as she opened her mouth, her tone was laced with both smug satisfaction and a sharp hint of jealousy.

Luis quickly spoke up to smooth things over, ”Come on, Mom, letʼs just all drink together. Why fuss over who itʼs for and who it isnʼt?”

”Yes, Mom, this was offered by our brother in law to honor us anyway. Itʼs perfect timing for us to have a good drink tonight and really enjoy ourselves.”

Nancy was also putting in considerable effort to mediate and keep the peace.

Everyoneʼs glass was filled to the brim. Arthurʼs mood was also quite elevated and enthusiastic.

The second son in law was not only promising but also knew how to navigate social situations with grace. The matters concerning the loan and the acquisition of the car had been kept completely under wraps, ensuring that Arthur wouldnʼt lose face in front of this shrew of a woman.

On top of that, the bar had helped offload that batch of mineral water, leaving his financial situation somewhat more comfortable. At the very least, out of the past several years, this year had been the least financially strained.

After eating and drinking for a while, the mother and daughter duo became particularly animated when discussing the dayʼs events.

Arthur then uttered a sentence that actually sounded like something a decent human being would say. In a low, measured tone, he stated, ”In a little while, Iʼll call a few guys over. They can spend the night in the car. If we need them tomorrow morning, weʼll just have them come on up. We absolutely cannot allow ourselves to be taken advantage of.”

”So you actually count as a human being after all!!”

Arthur proceeded to make a phone call, presumably to some of the low level thugs working at his company.

Upon hearing this, Mother-in-law Ruth looked at him with a beaming, amiable expression. With her own hands, she poured him a drink, a gesture that seemed almost like a form of reward.

In that brief span of time, the excitement had driven the four of them to finish off a one and a half catty bottle of foreign liquor. Nancy immediately opened another bottle and then discreetly signaled to Luis with her eyes.

Luis was fully aware of what she was thinking. Her resistance to the idea of her father keeping a mistress was actually quite minimal.

This was because, during her childhood, not only had she received the complete love of both her parents, but the mistress had also taken her out to play and bought her quite a few things.
