Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 419: Deewa’s Wedge

”She’s been here too.”

Hearing that name, Nancy’s eyes narrowed instantly, all trace of friendliness vanishing.

”Yes, she recharged 2,000 dollars not long ago and got a 9.3 percent discount.”

The female manager, seemingly oblivious to her expression, continued expansively:

”We’ve even updated the women’s club facilities here, offering all sorts of beauty and wellness services. Nowadays, spending this amount really isn’t that much.”

”If you top up, I’ll apply for an even bigger discount for you.”

Luis glanced up at the price list. The most expensive membership was only 5,000 dollars, but he had to admit, aside from those exclusive private clubs he knew nothing about, the prices here were likely top-tier.

Nancy still had some money left. Just as she gritted her teeth, about to get a card, Luis stepped in first, asking with a smile:

”Let’s set the discount aside for a moment. If this is a women’s club, then I suppose I should stop here?”

”That’s right, we’ve separated our services here.”

The female manager stated bluntly, ”Men can go to the second floor for haircuts. But these three connected floors are now a private women’s club, offering maintenance, fitness, yoga, gentle gymnastics, body sculpting, and the like.”

”Everyone here, the coaches, nutritionists, they’re all women. There isn’t even a male fly. Many wealthy wives and officials’ wives choose to come here.”

The implication was clear: no need to worry about the benefactor being cheated on. That was indeed a major selling point.

Luis turned and asked, ”Honey, is Deewa that woman who works at the Store, the one with no money but still puts on airs?”

This was purely asking something he already knew. Nancy gave him a playfully reproachful slap, a perfect green-tea act, and chided, ”Don’t speak about her like that. Deewa is just a bit prideful, not very good at getting along with people, that’s all.”

It had to be said, she’d learned to play the game. In the past, she would never have been capable of such a seamless performance.

The female manager smiled without commenting, but she was a green-tea type at heart too, immediately fanning the flames: ”Oh? It seems Deewa has offended you again. How come she still hasn’t changed that temperament even after all these years since graduation?”

”It seems the rumors are true. She must have latched onto someone wealthy to act this way.”

”Since we were all classmates, don’t take it to heart. We all know what she’s like.”

The female manager even said warmly, ”If you don’t want to get a card now, then don’t. How about I treat you?”

It seemed friendly on the surface, but it was a soft, subtle jab, stirring things up while also provoking a spending response.

Luis thought to himself, what kind of green-tea bunch were these? No wonder the eldest sister didn’t have great social connections. With her muddle-headed, straightforward personality, it was a wonder she hadn’t suffered more.

Thinking further, in a group filled with this kind of passive-aggressive, sarcastic, trouble-stirring, divisive behavior...

The fact that Blanche managed to command respect from everyone, and was admired even without much money, proved that Blanche’s interpersonal skills were unimaginably smooth.

Sure enough, upon hearing this, Nancy’s face showed a hint of defiance.

Even though the female manager’s expression held no visible contempt, her earlier praise for Deewa was enough to create that psychological suggestion.

”No need, let’s just top up a card first!”

Luis directly took out his own bank card and said casually, ”Nancy, you try it out first. If it’s good, we can get a few more cards. They might come in handy for gifts or something.”

”Don’t worry, our service here is absolutely excellent.”

The female manager promptly took the bank card and smiled, ”Nancy, how much are you putting in? Five hundred or a thousand dollars?”

After all, they were classmates. They had some idea of each other’s family situations. She knew roughly what Nancy’s circumstances had been like before. This amount was probably within an acceptable psychological range for her.

Just as they were filling out the form, a sarcastic voice sounded beside them: ”Oh, Nancy, what a coincidence.”

Turning around, it was Deewa, dressed flamboyantly, wearing a lovely dress that looked very fitting.

Honestly, she was on the same level as the ethereal sister-in-law, a natural clothes hanger who didn’t need name brands; ordinary clothes could look like luxury items on her.

Nancy smiled without warmth. ”Yeah, seems I run into you everywhere.”

Deewa had also dressed up meticulously. She chuckled and said, ”Oh, I need to wash my hair and do my makeup properly. I have to attend a high-class dance party tonight.”

”Oh, you haven’t gotten a membership here? Really, why not support your old classmate’s business?”

Deewa said haughtily, ”My treat today. I just want to use up some more points on my silver card.”

”You can put her expenses on my tab.”

”No need!”

Nancy refused firmly, sniffing proudly. ”The bank’s discount is too low, not worth it. The thousand dollars I just topped up isn’t even enough for a few visits. You should keep it for yourself.”

”Oh, look who’s suddenly above it all now.”

Deewa sneered and said, ”Even if he isn’t your husband, it’s still pretty trashy to waste a man’s money like that.”

Having said that, she secretly threw Luis a flirtatious glance, a blatant attempt to drive a wedge between them.

She was making it clear she knew Nancy was a married woman, and that this young, handsome, and wealthy guy was definitely not her lawful husband.

Whether he was a sugar daddy or just a side piece in an illicit affair, men were always generous at the start. Once the novelty faded, they’d never treat you that well again.

Someone willing to drop over 200,000 dollars on a Mercedes in one go, that was a seriously high-tier patron. Deewa was completely smitten, already scheming on how to steal him away.

First, for the man himself, handsome and rich. Second, to openly spite Nancy.
