The First Store System

Chapter 1186: A Tragic Figure!

”Hello, store owner!” Ciri greeted Aakesh after finally getting her turn.

Aakesh nodded in response to her greetings and waited for her to ask the question.

Ciri belonged to the Chunsitan race. It was an upper tier race in the Sacred Dimension, with the race having several Sacred Emperors and a few Sacred Monarchs in its ranks. Unfortunately for the race, it had failed to give birth to a Sacred Creator despite its ruler being a peak Sacred Monarch for trillions of years.

The race, Chunsitan, was going through its worst situation as the race was currently at war with another race for ownership of the Ultimate Sacred Stone Mine. The battle didnʼt seem like it would end any sooner and involved the top leadership of the two races.

Ciriʼs father was one of the few Sacred Monarchs in the race, and unfortunately for the man, he was also the first Sacred Monarch to die in the battle.

Ciri had no choice but to escape the main planet with her mother. After the death of her father, many coveted the materials left by him. Even though the race was at war, there were still greedy people left in the race, trying to take advantage of the war for themselves.

So Ciri was left with no choice. Since leaving wasnʼt easy, she left everything there except the hard cash.

Even then, Ciri had gotten caught by the group since she and her mother were also the assets the group was looking for. The females of the Chunsitan race were extremely beautiful, and known for their beauty across dimensions. At the same time, the males of the race were hideous in appearance, making them one of the ugliest creatures of the Sacred Dimension. It was as if nature had added extra beauty to the female of the race, taking it away from the male.

The unequal situation would have led to a terrible situation, but the males of the race were extremely talented when compared to the females, and at the same time, for every hundred females, one male was born.

The race had a population of a few million, and only several thousand of them were male. But one thing was common, each male was a high-level cultivator, with none of the females in the race even reaching the Sacred Emperor level.

Her situation had almost developed into humiliation. If not for her mother sacrificing herself and fighting a lone battle, Ciri would have either died or become a slave to be sold to the enemy race.

Several years passed after that situation, and Ciri was finally able to venture out of her hiding place. She had no idea whether her mother was alive or what happened to the Chunsitans in the war, but she had only one thought in her mind, she wanted revenge, and that too from both races.

Ciri wasnʼt hot-headed so she could analyze the situation. She understood the talent difference between the two genders. There were seven males and two females in the group that came to stop and capture her.

She could kill the two females, but for her, defeating the males was an almost impossible task. Even at the same level of cultivation, tens of female Chunsitans were no match for one male Chunsitan.

She needed someoneʼs help, and Ciri left on her journey to search for a helper. In her way, Ciri fell in love and had children with the guy. She began to forget the past and focus on the future. She knew that she was demeaning her motherʼs sacrifice by forgetting about what happened with them, but whenever she would look at her happy children, she would forget everything. Things were going well, but then tragedy struck her again. Her husband and children were caught in a space storm, never returning from it.

Ciri tried searching for them, but it was even harder than searching for a needle in a haystack since the dimension was extremely vast.

All the happy memories she had created with her children came crashing down, and the two tragic memories overlapped.

Around a million years have passed since then and her search for them was still active. Ciri had become a cold figure. She also later came to know that the Chunsitans lost the war and that one of the members of the group behind all the tragedies was the son of the new ruler of the Chunsitans, making her revenge even more difficult.

Ciri had been searching for an opportunity to have her revenge or find her children, but she had been only getting failure. Her cultivation talent was so bad that she had only progressed by two sub-levels in all the past years.

When she escaped, she was an intermediate Lesser God, but now she was a peak Lesser God. The only thing going well for her was her wealth. She had left with nothing but the Sacred stones left by her father. The total value she had with her was a few thousand ultimate Sacred stones.

Just by looking at Ciri, Aakesh could sense the tragedies she had faced in her life. Ciri was extremely beautiful, as every female of her race was, but time and tragedies had affected her appearance, making it average.

Even an average appearance was great to look at, but compared to her original appearance, Ciri looked like dust.

Ciri wanted to smile, but she couldnʼt even smile without it looking like a forced smile.

”Store owner, tell me about the store products,” Ciri requested Aakesh. Her tone was neutral, as if nothing in the world could make her feel positive any longer.

Aakesh didnʼt care about the past of the customers, so he had no interest in learning about Ciriʼs history or why she had become like that.

After hearing the question, Aakesh began the introduction and soon concluded it in a single breath.

Ciriʼs eyes showed some expression after hearing about the products, but soon the dead expression replaced it, her face returning to normal.

Ciri had come to the store due to her luck since she was going around one planet after another, searching for her husband and children. During her search in a different city in the Fawkes Kingdom, she learned about the store from passersby.
