The First Store System

Chapter 1076: Quests(End)

[Ding!]

[Host, congratulations on completing the ”Mission objective: Sell Beasts” successfully!]

[The ”Mission Reward: Twenty-five purer higher Sacred stones” has been given!]

[Please see the following screen for your second beastʼs quest!]

The next moment, a blue window containing the details of the second beastʼs quest appeared before him.

[Mission Sequence: Second

Mission Objective: Sell Beasts,

Requirement: With the purchase from Gerrick, the store had fulfilled all requirements for the last quest. Itʼs not the time to celebrate, but itʼs only the beginning. Work even more diligently to make more and more customers interested in the product,

Number of beasts you need to sell: 10,000,000,

Time Limit: 3600 Days

Mission reward: Pillar for True God, Lesser God, Higher God, Supreme God Beasts unlocked,

Failure Punishment: The sales commission will get reduced to 0% of the productʼs price for fifty years.]

Soon after the sale was complete, several mechanical alerts bombarded Aakeshʼs head, continuing the momentum of the questʼs completion.

Aakesh focused on the screen and read what the system wanted from him for the mission. The sale requirement had grown a thousand times, while the time had grown ten times.*

It was a difficult task as it was a unique product, and cultivators could only buy one for their lives until the arrival of the second pillar. It also showed in the quest, as months ago, the store had completed around half of the requirements, but slowly, the sale rate dropped, and it finally reached the thousandth sale today.

After looking at the reward, Aakesh nodded in appreciation. He then took a casual glance at the failure punishment and waved his hands. The next moment, the screen disappeared, waiting for Aakesh to call it back again.

Time flew by, and six hours had passed since the store opened its doors for the day. The system began to force customers out of Panagea, depending on their entry sequences. In no time, all six hundred-plus grayed-out portals turned bright.

After the customers came out of the room, the customers surrounded by golden light in the waiting corner entered the store and disappeared into Panagea by finding their nearest virtual portal.

Aakesh was going to return to his relaxation session after the first group left the store, but he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store. He turned in that direction and found a group of people approaching the store.

The majority of the people in the group were familiar faces, but the man in the lead was an unfamiliar face.

***

Jossic was the leader of the Gredant organization, one of the organizations having a branch in Corr City. Jossic was a peak Divine Lord that descended from the ruling family of the organization. He was proving his capabilities by leading the group.

The Gredant organization had a few of its members as the storeʼs customers. They learned about the store from the competition months ago, as they had come here to participate in the ceremony on Nightless Day.

***

”Hello, store owner!”

”Hello, store owner!”

…

The group greeted Aakesh one after another, and then they stepped back, leaving Jossic at the front.

Jossic was from the race Gredanis, a race in the Demon group of races. Gredanis was an upper mid-tier race, with several Supreme Gods in its ranks. The ruling family, the Gredants, was the only family to have Sacred Kings in its ranks, so its status as the ruling family was cemented for the race and the organization.

Jossic was around three thousand years old this year, which was a young age, considering the maturity of the Gredanis, so childishness was still visible on his face. At the same time, he was a direct descendant of the Sacred King, so his personality was arrogant and unbearable.

The group behind Jossic had tense faces as they didnʼt want to see Jossic offend the store owner. Jossic might survive due to his status, but no one would save them.

It was also the reason why they didnʼt inform Jossic about the store, despite coming here regularly. One of the men in the group was shrunk since he was the reason behind Jossic finding the store, and others in the group clearly showed their anger toward the man.

***

”Hello, store owner,” Jossic greeted Aakesh with a smile on his face.

The smile was unnatural and forced; it was visible to Aakesh. At the same time, the restraint in Jossicʼs tone could also be heard by him. Since Aakesh didnʼt care about such things, he ignored it and nodded in response to the boyʼs greeting.

Jossicʼs wheatish face slightly turned red from Aakeshʼs silent response, but he controlled himself and asked about the storeʼs products while gritting his teeth, ”Store owner, what products does the store sell?”

Why was Jossic acting like this? It had to do with his Supreme God uncle. His uncle, Tiram, was a regular customer of the store. When Jossic found out about the store, he went to his uncle and complained about the members of the organization hiding it from him.

Tiram was sent with Jossic to protect him, and only these two people knew about it in Corr City.

After Jossic went to complain to his uncle, Tiram refused to let him go to the store, but after his countless pleadings, Tiramʼs heart melted, and he allowed it. But at the same time, he had set one condition for it, Jossic couldnʼt act like himself. No matter what, he wouldnʼt raise his voice or try to order the store owner.

***

”Store owner, I want a beast,” Jossic asked Aakesh after learning about the storeʼs products.

Jossic wanted to enter Panagea. He almost flared in rage after finding out that the spots were filled and he couldnʼt enter. But his uncleʼs scary face and ruthless tone were like a bucket of cold water whenever he thought of going against the condition.

***

Jossic stood in front of the pillar. His face was excited as he wanted to get an amazing beast and he tapped on the button.

The next moment, the square light started rotating, and five seconds later, a beast appeared on the screen.

[Name: Fiery Snake

Type: Beast

Race: Snake

Quality: Supreme

Cultivation: Peak Divine Being

…

Cost: Seventeen thousand higher Sacred stones.]

Jossic smiled widely after getting a beast to his liking in the first round itself.

Time flew by, and several hours passed in a flash.

”You need to pay seven hundred ordinary Sacred stones,” Aakesh stated expressionlessly and pushed ahead a couple of pills toward the man.

”Thank you, store owner,” The man thanked Aakesh after paying the required sum and then left the store while Aakesh had a couple of mechanical alerts bombarding his head.

[Ding!]

[Host, congratulations on completing the ”Mission objective: Sell Pills” successfully!]

[The ”Mission Reward: Ten new pill types addition in both Higher and Lesser grades” will be given after the storeʼs closing!]

[Please see the following screen for your fourth pillʼs quest!]

The next moment, a blue window containing the details of the fourth pillʼs quest appeared in front of him.

[Mission Sequence: Fourth

Objective: Sell Pills,

Detail: With Laulaʼs purchase, the store had met all of the previous sales requirements for the quest. Since we are just getting started, now is not the time to celebrate. Work even more diligently to make more and more customers interested in the product.

Number of pills you need to sell: 100,000,000 (each category),

Days required: 3600 Days,

Mission reward: King grade pills,

Failure Punishment: The random disappearance of ten types of pills and the sales commission will turn to 0 at the eligible productʼs sale for the next fifty years.]

Aakesh heard all the alerts and soon focused on the blue screen in front of him. The questʼs requirement had grown severalfold since the mission wanted him to sell these many pills for each category.

After the reward, the number of categories for sale would grow to forty, as ten new types of pills would be added to each lesser and higher grade. Keeping in mind that change, the store will need to sell a total of 4 billion pills, and he only had ten years to do it.

The reward was as expected, and he only took a casual glance at the punishment section.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and soon both screens faded into obscurity, waiting for Aakesh to call them back.

Aakesh then turned to look at the door. Since he didnʼt find anyone approaching the store within a range of a few hundred meters, Aakesh closed his eyes and began another of his relaxation sessions.

Time flew by, and a few more hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Aakesh was relaxing in his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching him. He opened his eyes and turned in that direction. A customer was approaching him with a page in their hands.

”Store owner, I want this one.” The woman respectfully informed Aakesh while handing the page to him.

Aakesh took the page and looked at it. The next moment, all its details appeared in his head.

”You need to pay four hundred fifty higher Sacred stones,” Aakesh expressionlessly stated, informing the price.

The woman nodded and immediately took out the required amount from her space ring. Her face showed pain for spending this much, but when the book appeared in her hand, only excitement and anticipation for the future were left in her eyes.

[Ding!]

[Host, Congratulations on completing the ”Mission objective: Sell the Store Products” successfully!]

[The ”Mission reward: Ten purer, higher Sacred stones and a chance to upgrade any of the five products” will be given after the storeʼs closing!]

Aakesh heard the alert of the second collective questʼs completion with the successful sale.

A/N: I have changed the beast requirement from a thousand to ten thousand(Beastʼs Quest) and the cultivation arts requirement from 15 to 150(Collective Quest). I am sorry for making the mistake in the first place.

Only one chapter. I owe you two chapters now, and I will make up for it on Sunday with a four-chapter release.
