The First Store System

Chapter 908: A New Day for the Store(6)

”Hey, system, will the new product appear in the Primal Dimension as well?” Aakesh asked as curiosity rose in his heart about it.

[Yes, Host!]

The systemʼs precise response rang in Aakeshʼs head the next moment.

Aakesh didnʼt ask any further questions and waved his hands. The next moment, light particles began to move away from the quest screen, turning it invisible in no time.

Aakesh then closed his eyes and began another of his relaxation sessions.

All the customers had already appeared for Panagea, so when a new customer arrived and showed interest in Panagea, the man had no choice but to leave and return tomorrow to check whether he would be able to get entry.

”Hey, system, whatʼs the point of quests if, even at the storeʼs best, they would go to the last day?” Aakesh couldnʼt resist asking.

The Panageaʼs quest wanted Aakesh to sell four hundred and fifty Panagea hours in seven days. Even if the store were to be filled with customers all day, it would only succeed in fulfilling the requirement on the seventh day.

Aakesh received only silence in response to this question since it wasnʼt the first time he had asked the system about it. Whenever a new customer entered the store and then had to leave because of insufficient spots in Panagea, Aakesh would ask the question.

When Aakesh first asked this question, the system had responded that, due to the low number of virtual portals and short deadline, it was the only way to make the quest challenging for the store owner.

At that time, Aakesh had sarcastically remarked, ”I guess the challenge is how long can the store owner persist with the boring quest.”

Since asking the question was enough for Aakesh to vent his frustration, he asked, and then his heart turned lighter. Aakesh then closed his eyes once again, initiating another relaxation session.

Time flew by, and around two hours had passed in the blink of an eye.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

The sound of footsteps rang in Aakeshʼs ears, breaking him from his relaxation session. Aakesh didnʼt feel irritated, but in fact, he liked the sound of footsteps since it meant the arrival of a new customer.

Aakesh opened his eyes and turned in the direction of the storeʼs gate. His eyes then fell on the man.

Aakesh couldnʼt help but be surprised since it was the first demon group other than Vurron that he had seen since he appeared here in the Sacred Dimension.

At the storeʼs gate stood a man seven meters tall, with wheatish skin and ripped muscles. The man seemed to be nothing less than a pillar. Even Aakesh, who looked muscular, felt like a child in comparison to the man.

”> Aakesh recognized the manʼs race from his unique features. The man only had one eye, and it was black on white. But on the black pupils, there was a pattern of a triangle present.

The man belonged to the race Triangular-Eyed Demon. The name of the race was similar to its unique feature.

Similar to Vurron, the Triangular-Eyed Demon was an average race in the Demon group. But when compared with the Vurrons, the Triangular-Eyed Demons were a notch above them.

Vurrons didnʼt have a True God in their race, while the Triangular-Eyed Demon not only had a True God in their midst, but their ruler was a cultivator who was one level higher in cultivation than the True God.

Joator was expelled from the Triangular-Eyed Demon race because of a crime. Joatorʼs father had a high status in the race since he was one of the only few True Gods in the race.

Having a True God for a father meant a life of luxury for Joator, and he lived an extravagant life like that. But everything changed around a hundred years ago.

Around a hundred years ago, the Triangular-Eyed Demons were in a ferocious war with their neighboring Kingdom. Joator, who lived a secure life away from the war due to his fatherʼs prestige, fell in love with a member of the enemy race.

Falling in love with the enemy race didnʼt result in Joatorʼs expulsion from the group, but the woman he fell in love with was the root cause.

Joator thought he was in love, but the reality was that he was honey-trapped. Fortunately for him, his father found out about all of it before Joator shared something that he shouldnʼt have shared, but things had still reached an irreversible point at that time.

Joatorʼs actions would have resulted in execution, but since his father pleaded for his case in front of the King, the result was only expulsion. Joator was the only child, so his father couldnʼt let him die. The fatherʼs chances of having children after attaining the True God level had almost completely vanished, so Joator was likely his only remaining option to extend the family line.

Fortunately for the father, things didnʼt reach a stage where saving his son was impossible. If Joator had said something significant that could have changed the course of the war, even having a True God for a father wouldnʼt have saved him.

Since that was all the father could do, Joator had no choice but to leave the Kingdom. His father chose the Fawkes Kingdom as the next stop on his journey because Jamieʼs father, the previous King, had a cordial relationship with Joatorʼs father.

Joator had been living in the Fawkes Kingdom since that time. Getting expelled from the clan showed Joator the reality of the world, so his arrogance disappeared, and he became serious about cultivation. Joatorʼs talent wasnʼt bad since he was a late Divine Being level cultivator when his age was only around a thousand years old.

Fortunately for him, his father would still send him some resources every year. It was nowhere near what he used to live on before the events happened, but when compared with the people of Thorr City or even the Kingdom, it was a large amount.

The father spent one Higher Sacred stone every year, which wasnʼt even the total wealth of many Divine Lords in the Kingdom, and Joator received that amount annually.

Joator had also become more conservative when it came to spending after that event, so his total wealth had reached astonishing levels in the past several years.
