The First Store System

Chapter 817: A New Day at the Store(2)

After killing all the beasts on the scene, Favan hurriedly left since he wasnʼt an idiot to wait for a bunch of beasts to come here due to the smell of blood.

Favan already had an idea about the location of the Level 100 chicken since he had only searched for the beast after he got the quest yesterday.

Time flew by, and Favanʼs bad luck didnʼt erupt again like earlier.

Using his quick movements, Favan reached the inner area of the farm without causing any severe disturbance.

His killing in the jungle positively affected the situation, as many higher-level beasts in the group had left the inner area to search for the killer.

Now that Favan had reached the inner area, he got ready for battle since it was imminent.

The number of beasts varied from Level 50 to Level 90 in two digits, so Favanʼs movement couldnʼt be free like earlier.

Not long after Favan reached the inner farm area, he came across a Level 55 beast.

The power gap between the beast and Favan was too much, even if his energy was locked. So without making much noise, Favan ended the battle with a kick to the beastʼs head.

Favanʼs bad luck erupted again at the moment, as a Level 91 beast was near the area where Favan had just hunted.

Favan did things silently, but he couldnʼt control the smell of blood this quickly, so a roar rang in the area not long after.

The roar turned the situation upside down for Favan as the scene turned ugly. At the same time, Favan had a nasty face since he found the beastʼs cry familiar.

”Damn it!” Favan couldnʼt help but curse as yesterday he had died at the hands of the owner of the roar.

Since things had turned this ugly earlier than Favan had expected, he thought about giving up for now, but then he remembered that there was a time limit to the quest.

Gritting his teeth, Favan rushed in the direction of the roar.

The beast hurrying in the direction it had sensed smell couldnʼt help but stop as it noticed a familiar being rushing toward it.

The beastʼs face turned ugly since it recognized Favan as an adventurer.

Cursing Favan in its language, the beast also charged. But the sudden stop in its action a moment earlier was all Favan needed.

Its sharp canines began burning bright as the beast activated one of its only two skills.

The beast was strong in one-to-one combat due to its skills, despite Favan having a more powerful physique.

Not wasting the chance given by the beast, Favan bent right away as he reached the beast.

The next moment, a punch hit the beastʼs abdomen, and it coughed blood.

Suddenly, the beast cried in pain as the skill backfired on it, bursting its jaws.

Favan punched once again as the beast had a strong body, and it wasnʼt going to die just from this.

Before the beast could handle the injury caused to its mouth, a barrage of punches arrived. Each hit the same area, the head.

Favan didnʼt even count his punches as he found himself in a momentum. A few seconds later, Favan returned to reality as he heard several footsteps approaching him.

Before Favan could do anything, his eyes fell on the gory sight in front of him. The beastʼs head was no more, but blood and brain matter was spread on the ground. His already red body got even redder due to the beastʼs blood.

Favan felt shocked, but a wave of exhaustion hit him the next moment as he used his full strength in every punch, creating pressure on his body.

Favan wanted to do nothing but sleep at that moment. But Favan knew his situation, so he attempted to escape the scene before getting surrounded by many beasts.

Favanʼs efforts turned out to be futile as his body began to give up only after running a few turns.

His movements turned slow, and in no time, he was surrounded from all sides by different beasts.

At that time, he finally saw the Level 100 chicken. It had curiosity in its eyes as it was looking at Favan.

The chicken was twice the size of Favan. It had brown feathers, while a red crown sat atop its head.

Favan felt countless needles stabbing him when he looked at its sharp beak.

ʼHow am I even going to defeat this monstrosity?ʼ It was the last thought in Favanʼs head before he saw the chicken ordering its underlings to rip him apart.

His eyes closed the next moment, but the pain made him scream like never before.

The scene lasted only a few seconds, but Favan felt he had gone through it for tens of thousands of years.

When he revived at the resurrection point, his entire body was wet with sweat, while his face was pale from fright.

The next thirty seconds he stayed there felt like one second to Favan as he had no desire to return to Panagea and face many beasts.

When the thirtieth second arrived, a white light engulfed him, and he disappeared from the resurrection spot.

Favan felt a chill crawling through his spine as he returned to the same place he had lost his life. There were still some beasts present at the scene, so the sudden appearance of Favan stunned them.

The next moment, the beast roared and called for their fellow members while Favan attempted to escape the scene since he was perfectly healthy.

While Favan was toiling inside Panagea, Aakesh had no choice but to continue to relax since no second customer arrived after Favan.

Aakesh then began to think about the battle he had gone through in the training area yesterday. He had won one hundred and six matches while losing the 107th fight with the spear.

Aakesh needed more than one battle with one opponent to see the extent of his strength at the moment since he could only use the skills prepared by the weapon in each match.

Aakesh then made the decision to do a second training where he could fight with all his power and check where the limits lay for the current him.
