Chapter 122: Mayhem (End)

It took several minutes for Aakesh to kill the converts in the crowd. When he killed every single of them, he looked at the corpses and saw a mountain of them. He had killed more than 500 converts in the current fight.

Aakesh then decided to rush in the direction from where the converts came as the time to search for radicals had ended. Aakeshʼs steps suddenly came to a stop, as a red window appeared in front of him.

[Adventurer, youʼve brought this town to doom due to your actions,

The town has already lost more than 5,000 lives, while the converted army has grown to 10,000. The number of innocent casualties has been increasing with every passing second.

To stop the casualties from further increasing, you need to kill the mastermind before the fatalities of the town exceed 10,000.

If you fail to do so, you would fail the quest and lose all the levels you had gained until now. If you succeed, your reward will double. May you be victorious!]

”Punishment for failing the quest!” Aakesh murmured as it was the first time a quest had appeared which gave punishment to the adventurer as the system of the Panagea had been helpful to the adventurer until now.

The next moment, a red window containing the number 5023 appeared in front of him. The next moment, it turned into 5027.

It was the number of innocent casualties the town had faced due to the riots. Aakesh didnʼt want to fail the quest, so he rushed in the direction of the converts.

He killed every convert he found in his way. Around an hour passed, the casualties had exceeded 5472.

Aakesh was rushing randomly when suddenly the casualty count changed 5946 from 5472. Aakesh stopped in his steps as a surprised expression appeared on his face. The next moment, the casualty count changed to 6732.

Aakesh finally had an idea about the location of the leader of the radicals. Only the leader of the radical could kill so many people in a single second.

Aakesh rushed toward the busiest locality of the Wolfden. This time he didnʼt stop to kill any converts. When he reached the area, the casualty count had already turned into 8245.

When Aakesh reached the area, he found a man giving around two hundred people a choice whether they would convert or die.

Around 20 of them refused to convert right away, while the other 180 chose to convert to save themselves.

”You people,” The man then looked at the twenty who refused to convert and shook his head disappointedly as if he was sad to kill them.

”So, youʼre the leader!” The man was going to kill the group when he suddenly stopped as he heard an unfamiliar voice.

The man turned around and saw Aakesh expressionlessly staring at him. A smile appeared on his face as he commented, ”Adventurer!”

The man then turned around, and suddenly the group of 20 people split into several pieces. He then looked at Aakesh with the expression that even if youʼre here, you canʼt do anything to me.

Upon seeing the groupʼs corpse, Aakesh glanced briefly at the casualty count, which reached 8265 after the killing of twenty civilians. The next moment, he jumped forward and reached in front of the leader of the group.

”Despite being a human, you joined the hunt of humans by your religion people,” Aakesh shook his head disappointedly as he raised his hands, aiming to grab the head of the leader.

”Because itʼs fun to kill,” The leader responded with a smile as suddenly his eyes flickered.

After evolving from Level 25, the beings get the ability to manipulate the elements. The leader of the radicals was a Level 26, so he also had the ability to control elements, and his affinity was with the air element.

Aakesh suddenly felt a blade attempting to cut his hands into pieces. He suddenly closed his hands, and the next moment, the sound of something cracking rang into the area.

The smile on the leaderʼs face froze as his air blade didnʼt do anything to the adventurer. He attempted the attack again, but the result was still the same.

”No point in attempting. You canʼt defeat me,” Aakesh commented as he suddenly punched the man in his gut.

The punch had enough force to throw the man backward, but before it could happen, a hand came and grabbed the scruff of his neck.

”Call all the radicals and the converts here,” Aakesh said as he raised up the man by the scruff of his neck.

”Haha, do you think Iʼm a fool?” The man laughed in response.

Aakesh didnʼt speak anything in response and grabbed hold of the manʼs legs by his other hand and snapped it right from its joint.

”Aagh!”

The next moment, a heart-rending scream echoed in the area. The group that had chosen to convert a moment before had already escaped the area. Since the ritual of conversion hasnʼt been done, they still werenʼt part of the religion.

After the man stopped screaming, aakesh looked at him and ordered, ”Call all the radicals and the converts here.” He didnʼt forget to warn him for the last time, ”If I need to tell you this again, you wouldʼve to pay a pretty price.”

”Isnʼt the destruction and killing beautiful?” The man replied, laughing in response. Aakesh, this time, didnʼt snap his other legs, and instead, he crushed the foot. He didnʼt stop at that. After the feet, he squashed the knees of the man.

Aakesh then grabbed hold of the manʼs right hand and crushed it into pieces. He then went up to the elbow and squashed it.

”Plea...please stop!” The man screamed, seeing Aakesh still not stopping, and trying to poke a hole in his gut using his index finger.

Aakesh didnʼt stop, and the next moment, his finger passed through his gut. He then grabbed hold of his intestine and started taking it out as if it was a rope.

”Ple...please st...stop! I would c...call,” The man screamed. Aakesh stopped right away and then looked at the man.

The man tapped on the emerald bracelet in his hands, and the next moment, blue light emanated from it, which stopped at his mouth.

”All of you arrive at street no. 17,” The man ordered.

Every radical and convert in the town stopped whatever they were doing and rushed to the location told by their leader.

While Aakesh was in the midst of waiting, the system informed him that morning had arrived in the actual world. Aakesh decided to return to the real world only after completing the quest.

The quest could be completed at any moment by killing the leader. But he wanted to finish it by eliminating every radical and convert in the town, so he waited until everyone arrived.

It took around an hour for everyone to gather at the area their leader had called them since they were spread throughout the town.

Radicals and converts had already lost their sanity since the start of the riot, so even when they saw Aakesh holding their leader by the scruff of his neck, they didnʼt care and continued gathering.

After everyone gathered, Aakesh activated the skill Ability-Learning for the first time in Panagea, and every convert and radical split into two pieces.

Aakesh then looked at the leader, who had a wide-open mouth, seeing Aakesh using his skill.. He then crushed his neck and threw him away to die while suffering.
