Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

The Alchemy God appeared on stage, denoting that the start was close by. He spread his arms to everyone in the stadium and began speaking.

“To anyone unaware, I am the Alchemy God. And today, on the day of the final competition, I shall be your one and only host.”

“Precisely a century and a half ago, when the tomb in the Three Jewel World opened, I had a thought. Because so many incredible individuals gathered in that place, I thought of gathering all the incredible alchemists in one place as well.”

“At first, I had merely thought of a meeting between the great alchemists. But as my thoughts evolved, I realized that while we knew who the incredible alchemists of past generations were, we did not know the alchemists of the current generation.”

“The Medicine World has produced many alchemists of its own in the current generation, and many have already made their names. However, I did not know anything about the alchemists from the other worlds. As such, that was when I first conceived the idea of this tournament.”

“That was the day I announced the Grand Alchemy Convergence.”

“Only a hundred years after my announcement, nearly a hundred thousand alchemists gathered for the tournament. And since then, they have been filtered so only the best of the best would survive throughout the tournament—the cream of the crop.”

“And today shall mark the day that separates the best from the best.”

“Today, I welcome you all to the finale of this tournament that will go down in history as one of the greatest alchemy tournaments to ever be held.”

The completely filled stadium, with over 50 million watchers, shook the ground itself as they cheered. Their combined applause was like the rumbling after the thunder—something that could likely be heard from miles away.

The Alchemy God gestured for the people to become quiet before he began speaking again.

“This is a tournament, and we have over 100 participants today. But there has been something missing this whole time—something many of the participants have likely thought about but never asked.”

“The Reward.”

“The reward for winning this tournament, the reward for being better than every other alchemist out there.”

“Everyone must be curious about the reward, and certainly, I cannot lie that the reason we haven’t announced the reward yet is that there is no greater reward than the recognition they shall receive just for participating in the final competition alone.”

“However, that is not to say that there is no reward.”

“For everyone who has entered the final competition, they will be given the chance to join my cult and learn from me or the people under me. Even if they choose not to, they will be under my protection. Should any harm come to them, the perpetrator will have to answer to me, the Alchemy God.”

“And that is just the start.”

The Alchemy God gestured to the side, and dozens of people walked up to the stage. Upon arriving, they began pulling out storage bags and bringing items out from within them.

What was inside these storage bags was enough to drive most of the audience members mad with pure envy.

“As you can see, there are hundreds of incredible treasures, thousands of incredible books filled with profound knowledge. There are rare pill ingredients, rare recipes. There are cauldrons, different alchemy fires, and many unique artifacts. There are techniques that would be kept secret by any sect or family. There are ships that can travel through space. There are rare treasures that have been gathered for thousands of years—so many things that I cannot explain them all right now.”

“And the ones who will receive all of these will be only those within the top 16. I am sorry to say that no one else will receive anything, as that is the essence of the tournament. These treasures will be divided properly into 16 equal sections, and what one receives will depend on their own luck.”

“Aside from that, the Top 8 will have a chance to become my disciples, should they choose to do so. Even if they do not wish to be my disciples, I shall still personally tutor them in three separate alchemy lessons.”

“For the one who ranks 4th, they will receive one month of unobstructed access to my personal treasure, the Book of Endless Recipes. They may use it as they wish for that time.”

“For the one who ranks 3rd, they may use the book for six months. On top of that, they shall also receive a copy of this.”

The Alchemy God brought out a thick book from his storage space. “This is a book I wrote, and it contains all the knowledge I have gathered throughout my lifetime. I have lived over 200,000 years, and of those, I have been the Alchemy God for 40,000 years.”

“All of my understanding of alchemy, all of my deep research, all of my shortcuts—I’ve put them all into this book.”

Those words caused quite a stir in the audience, as no one expected the Alchemy God to give away so much of his own knowledge in the competition.

“For the one who ranks 2nd, they will also receive a copy of my book of knowledge. Alongside that, they will be allowed to use the Book of Endless Recipes for a whole year. On top of that, they will also receive this.”

The Alchemy God pulled out a large wooden box, the image of which was enlarged on the floating panels in the sky for everyone to see. He opened it, and inside were two pills, both golden in color with black pill veins surrounding them.

“This is an immortal pill made from a very rare ingredient that many of you likely don’t even know about—the Phoenix Egg Fruit.”

“This fruit has nothing to do with phoenixes, but it does have one property similar to them. It can help you rewind your body’s time.”

The world remained still, waiting to hear more from him.

“Eating the pill will decrease your cultivation base until you are at the start of the Immortal realm. Everything you gained alongside your cultivation base within the Immortal realm drops as well. The only things that don’t change are your body, blood aura, and your spiritual energy.”

“You may all be wondering why anyone would want to reset their cultivation base, but the idea is very simple. With this, you can restart your cultivation journey once again, and this time, using all the fame and fortune you have received, you may choose a better Creation.”

“That is the gift of this pill, known as the Second Chance Pill.”

“In my life, I have only managed to find two Phoenix Egg Fruits, and I turned both into these pills. And both of them, I will be giving away today.”

“Speaking of which, for the one who wins today’s tournament, they shall receive everything I have mentioned so far.”

“But, on top of all that, they shall receive one more thing. A wish.”

“The winner of today’s competition may make a wish upon me for anything they want. Should it be within my power to fulfill it for them, I will.”
