Villain: I Can See Destiny

54: Chapter 54: Partial Setting and Plot AnalysisIn this chapter, I will explain some of the settings of this book to everyone. (Readers who do not like reading these can skip to the second half of the chapter, where there is a plot analysis.)

1. Faction Ranks:

Immortal-grade (Ancestors produced an Immortal, and Immortals are Immortal, so they are generally referred to as Immortal Clans in the book)

Longevity-grade (Ancestors produced a Great Emperor, and Great Emperors enjoy longevity)

Even if the above two decline, they still retain this title.

First-rate Factions (At least one active Great Saint Realm Peak)

Second-rate Factions (At least one active Great Saint Realm)

Third-rate Factions (At least one active Saint King Realm)

All others are unranked.

2. Territory Ranks:

xx Primordial Ancient Territory: Territories that existed in the Upper Realm from the very beginning.

xx Ancient Territory: Those added gradually later on.

xx Domain: Formed in modern times.

Except for the primordial-grade ancient territories, the subsequent domains were all formed from higher worlds.

Higher World: Great worlds located within the endless Void Realm (the size of a domain), where cultivators can Cultivate up to the Great Saint Realm.

Higher worlds hidden in the Void Realm are often the targets of some powerful Immortal Clans. {The Emperor’s Path has been closed for a hundred epochs, making it difficult for Immortal wars to occur, and the territorial division is already saturated (one epoch = 100,000 years).}

After the Immortal Clans conquer a higher world, they use spatial Magical Artifacts to pull it into the Upper Realm, forming a new ancient territory.

Those crowned with the name of the Lower Realm are middle worlds and lower worlds. Neither can stray far from the Upper Realm, otherwise they will be annihilated by the Void Realm. (The two have different Cultivation limits; lower worlds can Cultivate up to the Void Shattering Realm at most, while middle worlds can Cultivate up to the Saint Realm at most.)

Because they are closer to the Upper Realm, one can see the Upper Realm as soon as they enter the Void Realm, which is why there is the concept of Ascension.

Small World: A general term for special worlds (ranging from as small as a province to as large as the Small World where the Heavenly Dao Academy is located).

The Upper Realm is composed of countless domains (having three or more provinces can be called a domain), domains are composed of provinces, and provinces are composed of numerous cities.

Immortal Clans: Control several major domains. (Except for those that have declined.)

Longevity Families: One major domain (for average ones; stronger ones have three or four, while weaker ones have none).

3. Treasure Ranks:

Mortal Weapon, Spiritual Artifact, Treasure Artifact, Dao Artifact, Sacred Artifact, Divine Artifact, Great Sacred Artifact (Medicinal Pill, weapon, Artifact Refiner Ranks, Alchemist Ranks).

Emperor Weapon, Jidao Emperor Weapon, Immortal Artifact, Immortal King-grade, Immortal Emperor-grade.

Upper Realm: Above Emperor Weapon: Cannot be refined (naturally formed or nurtured by humans).

Immortal Realm: Can craft Immortal weapons; above Immortal weapons: (nurtured by humans).

Special Magic Treasures: Such as the heavenly dao token (requires cooperation with Formations).

Formation Masters, Formation Ranks (these two things have no presence; when the time comes, just listen to me talk nonsense—however awesome I say they are, that’s how awesome they’ll be).

4. Child of Destiny:

Red (Great Emperor), Orange (Great Saint), Yellow (Saint King), Green (Saint Realm), Cyan (below Tongyou Realm).

The protagonist cannot absorb those with a Cultivation base higher than his own, and for those lower than his, the protagonist’s Cultivation base increases very little.

Ordinary people: Blue, Purple, Gray, White.

Question 1: Must the protagonist constantly lower the Luck of a Child of Destiny to absorb it?

Answer: ”No. As the protagonist’s Cultivation base increases, directly killing a Child of Destiny will also allow for perfect absorption.”

Question 2: Why is there no introduction to the power of Luck above the Immortal Realm?

Answer: ”1. The power of Luck of Immortals is entirely golden (since ancient times, those who can achieve Immortal Ascension are all people of great Luck).”

”2. After the protagonist achieves Immortal Ascension, he will no longer need the power of Luck (the reason will be written later).”

5. Determination of Peerless Prodigies and Division of Realms (Basically all peerless Prodigies progress at this speed! Only their combat power differs; going any faster is impossible unless they have reached it before!)

Body Refining, Qi Entry, Spiritual Realm (for great forces, they are born at this Realm), Earth Realm (6 years old), Heaven Realm (8 years old), King Realm (10 years old).

Emperor Realm (15 years old), Void Shattering Realm (20 years old), Dao Heaven Realm (30 years old), Tongyou Realm (50 years old), Saint Realm (100 years old).

Saint King (500 years old), Great Saint (1000 years old).

For Realms further up, it is not something that time can bridge; it depends on Comprehension Ability and Opportunity.

Half-Emperor, Great Emperor, True Immortal, Immortal King, Immortal Emperor.

Emperor Realm: Divine Sense begins to emerge.

Void Shattering Realm: Can barely step into the Void Realm.

Half-Emperor: Requires the assistance of a living Great Emperor to be achieved.

Great Emperor: Requires Emperor Source.

Immortal: Masters the power of Law.

Immortal King: Can alter Law.

Immortal Emperor: Controls the Great Dao, imprinting Dao patterns.

Half-Step Transcendence: One Great Dao, imprinting ten Dao patterns.

Transcendence: Masters all Great Dao, becoming the Heavenly Dao.

Personally, I feel that this type of novel is different from traditional Xuanhuan novels. There is no need to divide each Realm too meticulously, as that would restrict things and make it hard to show off.

Same level? My strength is invincible; I’ll slap them to death.

You’re stronger than me? My background is invincible; I’ll just call people to take you down.

I think this is what an invincible villain should look like.

I believe most people probably don’t care about these Realm systems, right? You probably came to see how bad the villain is, how he kills the male protagonists, and takes the female leads. Well, some might get killed off. Of course, once they get killed, they definitely aren’t the female lead anymore.

Finally, I want to say that this book does have an outline; in fact, I have basically settled on the ending.

The main storyline won’t change—it’s to slaughter the Children of Destiny and bully the protagonists. Of course, it’s not all about bullying the Children of Destiny.

Lastly, the protagonist is decisive in killing in the ”early stage.” Although he seems nice to the female leads right now, his heart is actually very dark.

In his previous life, Young Master Xiao Zimo, who had fallen into the demonic path, personally killed the woman he loved most. (She was the last to die, so what about the others? Of course, this time will definitely be different.) For him, the Great Dao is supreme!

Also, it’s not like foreshadowing only gradually appeared after the Empress showed up; there was actually a lot of foreshadowing before! It just wasn’t as obvious!

① Will the purple extreme sword return? Actually, the answer is already in the chapter about Luo Cang’s Rebirth.

② Why is the heavenly dao bead inaccurate? Because someone reversed the world. In this lifetime, Young Master Xiao Zimo has changed—he has become more cold-blooded yet more passionate.

③ Why is Luo Cang’s Rebirth only fake, yet he has a thousand years of memories that are very real? Because his memories are real! It happened in his previous life. His Soul didn’t change, but the heavenly dao bead brought along a segment of real memory. (The heavenly dao bead returned from the future. Except for him picking up the heavenly dao bead, all of Luo Cang’s memories are real!)

④ Why does Luo Cang have the heavenly dao bead? Because someone who took the heavenly dao bead in the previous life regretted it, which is why Luo Cang has it. Otherwise, the heavenly dao bead can conceal Luck, so why would it deduce the most suicidal choices? It was just that someone wanted to use his hand to deliver the heavenly dao bead.

⑤ Why did Luo Cang insist on staying in the Imperial Capital? According to the heavenly dao bead’s deduction, wasn’t there a way to survive? That’s because someone attached Luo Cang’s future memories to the heavenly dao bead!

⑥ Why did the Great Reckoning happen ahead of schedule just because Luo Cang wanted to tail his sister? Because Young Master Xiao Zimo didn’t want him to cause trouble, and it would also throw Luo Qing’s mind into chaos, giving him the chance to ask what he wanted to know.

⑦ Why can’t Young Master Xiao Zimo use the heavenly dao bead? Why can the heavenly dao bead help him achieve Immortal Ascension? (Can’t spoil this.)

⑧ The reason for Young Master Xiao Zimo’s Transmigration will be explained later (those who read carefully might have already guessed).

Why would the Empress love Young Master Xiao Zimo to death? I don’t believe in love at first sight; all love at first sight is just a euphemism for lust (except for the little fox...).

Since the Empress is like this, could there be some deeper reason?

Some people can’t figure out whether Young Master Xiao Zimo is a reborn person or a transmigrator. You can understand it as: after his Rebirth, Young Master Xiao Zimo first reincarnated on the Blue Planet, and then reincarnated back.

Actually, there are still over a dozen pieces of foreshadowing corresponding to the later plot, which I won’t mention here since the corresponding plot hasn’t come out yet.

Of course, everyone probably doesn’t care about these minor bits of foreshadowing either; after all, it’s just an invincible-style feel-good novel.
