Urban God of Rebate: Infinite Returns Of Women And Powers

Sean walked down the apartment stairs, his phone showing a balance of $4,000. The rebate from paying Makima had given him some breathing room, but he needed to test this system more. Make sure it wasn’t a one time thing.

Sean saw an old man sitting against a building wall. His clothes were dirty and torn. A cardboard sign sat in front of him.

Please help , i am starving and hungry was written in the cardboard sign.

Sean stopped. He remembered what it felt like. That crushing weight of having nothing. Being looked down on. Being invisible. He pulled out his phone and walked over.

”Hey, do you have Cash App or any bank account i send money into?” Sean asked.

The old man looked up, surprised. His face was weathered and lined with years of hard living.

”I have Cash App, but the phone barely works. Battery’s always dying.”

”That’s fine. Just give me your username.”

The old man’s hands shook as he pulled out a cracked phone.

”It’s $Bob419. But son, you don’t have to...”

Sean was already typing. He sent five hundred dollars.

[500 dollars sent]

[Balance: $3,500]

[1,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $4,500]

The old man’s phone buzzed. His eyes widened.

”Five hundred dollars? Son, is this real? Did you mean to send this much?”

”Yeah. Buy yourself some food. Get a room for the night. You deserve it.”

The old man started crying.

”Thank you. God bless you, son.”

Sean walked away before the man could say more. His chest felt tight in a good way. Like something inside him was healing. And he had just made five hundred dollars profit while helping someone.

The system was perfect.

He kept walking. A few blocks down, he saw a woman sitting outside a fast food restaurant with two small kids. The children looked tired and hungry. The woman held a sign.

Single mom. Anything helps feed my babies.

Sean walked over.

”You have Cash App?”

The woman looked up. Her eyes were red from crying.

”Yes, but I...”

”What’s your username?”

”It’s $Momalisa. Sir, I don’t want to be a burden...”

Sean sent one thousand dollars.

[1,000 dollars sent]

[Balance: $3,500]

[2,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $5,500]

The woman’s phone buzzed. She covered her mouth.

”One thousand... Oh my God...”

She started sobbing. Her kids hugged her, confused but sensing something good had happened.

Sean kept walking. Each step felt lighter.

Next was a young guy, maybe Sean’s age, holding a sign.

Need bus fare for job interview. Please help.

Sean stopped.

”Cash App?”

The guy looked hopeful.

”Yeah. It’s $unemploymentkills.”

Sean sent two thousand dollars.

[2,000 dollars sent]

[Balance: $3,500]

[4,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $7,500]

”Holy shit!” the guy shouted. ”Two thousand? Bro, I can’t accept...”

”Buy a suit for that interview. Get there early. You got this.”

The guy’s eyes watered.

”Thank you, man. I won’t forget this.”

Sean spotted a disabled veteran in a wheelchair near the subway entrance. His sign read:

Served my country. Lost my legs. Lost my home. Anything helps.

Sean’s jaw clenched. This man fought for everyone to live comfortable lives, and society had thrown him away.

”Cash App?” Sean asked.

The veteran nodded.

”It’s $VetJohnny82.”

Sean sent three thousand dollars.

[3,000 dollars sent]

[Balance: $4,500]

[6,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $10,500]

The veteran’s phone buzzed. He looked at the screen and froze.

”Three thousand dollars? Son, is this a mistake?”

”No mistake. Thank you for your service.”

The veteran saluted him, tears streaming down his face.

”God bless you, young man.”

Sean turned a corner and saw a homeless shelter. The building looked old and run down. A sign on the door read:

Fundraising for new beds and winter supplies.

He walked inside. The woman at the front desk looked exhausted. Her name tag read Margaret.

”Hi. I’d like to make a donation.”

”Oh, that’s wonderful.” Margaret smiled, though it barely reached her eyes. ”Every bit helps. We’re trying to raise money for new beds and winter blankets. We have fifty people sleeping here every night and only thirty beds.”

”I’ll give you ten thousand.”

Margaret froze.

”I’m sorry... what?”

”Ten thousand dollars. What’s your organization’s account info?”

Her hands shook as she pulled up the information.

”Sir... I don’t know what to say. Are you serious?”

Sean transferred the money.

[10,000 dollars spent]

[Balance: $500]

[20,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $20,500]

Margaret stared at her screen. Then she burst into tears.

”We can buy beds. We can get blankets. We can help so many people. Thank you so much.”

Sean left before she could ask his name. His balance now showed over twenty thousand dollars.

He was getting richer by being generous.

The irony was beautiful.

Two blocks later, he found another charity organization.

City Food Bank. Feeding families in need.

Sean walked in.

A young man at the counter looked up.

”Can I help you?”

”I want to donate ten thousand dollars.”

The young man blinked.

”Ten thousand? Sir, are you sure?”

”Completely sure. What’s your account info?”

The transfer went through.

[15,000 dollars sent]

[Balance: $15,500]

[30,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $45,500]

Sean kept walking.

He passed a community center with a sign asking for funding to keep kids off the streets.

He donated fifteen thousand.

[15,000 dollars sent]

[Balance: $30,500]

[30,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $60,500]

Then he saw a children’s hospital fundraising booth. A nurse stood there looking discouraged.

Probably hadn’t received many donations today.

”How much do you need?” Sean asked.

The nurse looked up, surprised.

”We’re trying to raise money for the pediatric cancer ward. New equipment. Toys for the kids. Anything helps, really.”

”I’ll give you fifteen thousand.”

Her eyes widened.

”Fifteen thousand? Sir... that’s incredible.”
