I AM the Football Star

Lu Yang shook his head: “I don’t mind you talking to me about basketball jokes, but I mind when you mention my family.”

“Likewise. I don’t mind being hit by a ball during a match, but outside of the match, I mind a lot!”

With that, Lu Yang flipped his hand.

The soccer ball fell to the ground.

But with a sudden flick of his instep.

The soccer ball flew sharply towards Mebarak.

Bam!

Although there was no exaggerated power movement.

But Lu Yang was someone who could shoot a powerful goal with just a standing leg swing!

The soccer ball struck Mebarak’s face.

Mebarak was hit hard, stumbling backwards with flailing arms.

“F*ck! I…”

Bam!

Mebarak didn’t get the chance to finish his curse.

Because Lu Yang had already charged up and punched him in the abdomen.

As he was leaning back, he naturally curled up due to the physical reaction.

It was as if in the process of falling backward, he voluntarily brought his face forward again.

Bam bam bam!

Lu Yang delivered a series of punches, finishing with one uppercut that helped Mebarak complete his fall.

Canisell swore he thought Mebarak was lifted off the ground by Lu Yang with the last punch.

Both feet left the ground like that!

Only then did some of the Barça players realize what had just happened.

But Lu Yang didn’t stop, he kicked the fallen Mebarak twice, and was only pulled back by four or five players dragging him away, separating him from Mebarak.

Mebarak kept screaming, unable to get up.

Lu Yang hit too hard!

And only after being dragged back some distance by teammates did Lu Yang speak: “Bro, let go of me, I am very calm now, I promise I won’t continue to fight. But if you keep restraining me, I will retaliate!”

The guy behind immediately let go.

Lu Yang turned around to see.

It was Burgos, the team’s defensive midfielder.

This scumbag.

Lu Yang remembered this guy.

It’s okay to pull people to stop chaos.

But the way of holding Lu Yang’s arms tightly together is definitely not a normal pulling-apart action.

On the contrary, this is a signature move for partiality.

If Mebarak had not been completely knocked down by Lu Yang and had a chance to fight back, Lu Yang, with restricted movement, would have inevitably taken a few punches to the face.

Lu Yang’s gaze scared Burgos, he raised his hands and stepped back immediately.

He was a technical midfielder, not one of those bulky and strong tough guys, absolutely no match for Lu Yang.

“I hope you can be this brave on the pitch in the future. Otherwise, I will find it hard not to remember today’s incident.” Lu Yang said, then glanced over at Mebarak.

Mebarak still hadn’t been helped up by his teammates.

He looked pale, curled on the ground, even spitting something like saliva… gastric acid.

It proved that this big guy was indeed not good at fighting.

This also corroborates Lola’s previous analysis of Mebarak based on data and performance, that the player’s ability to confront and core strength are not among the best in his level.

Hence, his defense is relatively soft and can be understood.

Material defines the foundation.

Most hard defenders must have physical attributes far stronger than ordinary people.

A few might have decent body and exceptionally strong spirit attributes.

Mebarak belongs to neither.

One by one, the local Barça players glared fiercely at Lu Yang, but no one dared to make the first move.

“What’s going on, this is the training ground, what do you all think you’re doing?” Gudiola rushed over, looking anxious but not really moving fast.

Maybe he’s been waiting for this day for a long time.

After all, how could someone as smart as him not know who’s most benefited when words like ‘a dog on the coach’s bench would do’ spread around?

Of course, it’s anyone with control over the team except for the head coach.

The local faction, right?

Player autonomy?

This is the most absurd demand Gudiola has ever heard.

Sure, great players can lead or even manage a team well.

But that’s limited to truly great players.

Most players proposing autonomy essentially want to seize power.

No, it should be called stealing power.

“He started hitting people! He insulted our Barça, he…” Ava was indignant.

But Gudiola immediately interrupted Ava: “What do you mean he insulted our Barça?”

Ava was taken aback.

“Look at the emblem on his training jersey, he is also a Barça player now. If I refuse to accept foreign players from the bottom of my heart, then who among us would sincerely contribute to Barça?” Gudiola looked at everyone, “I know besides playing, you might have other demands.”

“But we must understand one thing: playing is our first priority. Achievements guarantee everything else!”

“First, we must be able to win, then we can pursue other things!”

“Mebarak is the team’s captain and defensive gate, and Lu Yang is a very important forward in the team’s plan, we should cooperate, harmonize, and be peaceful!”

“Mebarak, you didn’t do what a captain should do and actively threw a ball to provoke conflicts between teammates, now I penalize you with a two-game suspension inside the team!”

“Lu Yang, you’re not fully recovered, banning you from games has no impact, so I fine you thirty thousand euros, are you willing to accept this?”

Lu Yang smiled: “Of course. Oh, remember to get Mebarak the best hospital, all medical expenses are on me, I want him to return to the field for Barça as soon as possible!”

Gudiola ignored Lu Yang and continued: “Alright, the rest of you go do your cool-down exercises, today’s training is over.”
