Beneath the Red Dragon

”You have been blinded by evil, and I cannot persuade you, young kin,” said Bronze Dragon Gross, shaking his head. ”As for justice, it often comes with unspeakable sacrifices and pain.”

”Ha ha, no need to say more to them. In honor of the Metal Dragons, when I’ve trampled that Red Dragon underfoot, I will let you leave. The other Giant Dragons can serve as my loyal slaves.”

Golden Dragon Oblash laughed loudly, his eyes like twin orbs of gold, radiating a blinding spiritual light, which is the authority of pride, silently exerting its influence.

The oppression of his Ancestral Dragon’s aura showed no concern for the populace below, now displaying an unmatched power and pressure, vast and incomparable, his voice echoing all around with the support of magic.

”Come out, Karon Gogomola, do not hide because of cowardice and fear of failure. In light of your wise governance, I permit you to become my trusted assistant in the future, as long as you submit at my feet, hahaha.”

Dong, atop the mountains, the Giant Dragon Hall tolled, with a deep bell pealing through the heavens, surprisingly suppressing the conceited laughter of the Golden Dragon.

A low and grim, yet more intimidating than a roar, voice in Dragon Language resounded heavily, echoing through every corner of the city, beside every Giant Dragon and in every citizen’s ear.

Like the sacred words of a Divine Spirit, like the prayers of angels, it brought Golden Dragon Oblash, Silver Dragon Chris, and both Bronze Dragons incomparable pressure, dispersing the fear from every citizen, reigniting courage.

”Who gave you the courage to challenge me!”

Golden Dragon Oblash turned his head, Silver Dragon Chris turned her head, and the two Bronze Dragons turned their heads. Every Dragon Lord turned to look at the silent volcano, and every citizen’s gaze converged there.

That was the source of the voice, and the owner of the voice had finally awakened.

That was an indomitable will awakening, a boundless momentum rising, an unparalleled majesty unfolding.

Even the grandeur of an Ancestral Golden Dragon seemed feeble and absurd before it.

It was flame, sky-filling flame, illuminating all clouds and sky with its blazing light.

In that cone-shaped, smoke-filled volcano mouth, came a violent rumbling, as if a colossal beast was climbing out of the purgatory-like crater.

Crack, crack,

Visible fissures rapidly spread across the volcano’s mouth, countless boulders rolling down, and in the smoke, a massive Dragon Claw covered the volcano’s mouth, like a Demon from the depths of hell, climbing, ascending into the world.

Everyone’s breath quietly ceased at that moment. They saw six enormous, demon-like, sinuous horns and a head with a majesty surpassing that of all other Giant Dragons, shining more brightly than the sun above.

Like a Demon God from the Abyssal Hell, it finally descended upon the world. This majestic and savage power simultaneously coexisted in the Red Dragon, collapsing an entire mountain to reveal its enormity.

Its body, its crimson scales emitted a brilliance surpassing even the Golden Dragon, representing nobility and elegance. It was like a steel-forged body, beyond the sculpture of any Divine Spirit, signifying savagery and strength.

Karon Gogomola, the supreme Monarch, at this moment unfolded those massive flame-like wings that could overshadow the sky, gazing down at everything on the earth, releasing a voice like a Demon God questioning souls.

”Who gave you the courage to challenge my will!”

”Who...”

The layered, echoing Dragon Language, flat and unvaried, yet the Female Red Dragon Kleyna, the Dragon who understood the Red Dragon Monarch’s tonal shifts the best, turned her roar into a scream at this moment.

”Open the Magic Defense Barrier! Open the Magic Defense Barrier immediately!”

Roar, the mountain collapsed, the sky trembled, thunder rolled overhead, the clouds dissipated, and the booming and erupting sound waves rushed in like the divine light of the end times.

On the dome above, the sky seemed ready to burst into flames, an irresistible ember with an absolute domineering will swept through the Royal Capital.

The waves of fear from the air crashed like tidal waves, the scorching deep crimson blaze now became the singularity under the dome.

The speed of that deep crimson blaze was unimaginable even for a Giant Dragon, the cascading Dragon Language couldn’t keep up with the Red Dragon’s assault.

In the next second, at the moment the Magic Barrier freshly rose, the comet-like blaze with an unchecked momentum arrived with a roar, slamming into the unprepared Ancestral Golden Dragon Oblash.

Roar,

The world shook, the sky trembled, even Silver Dragon Chris, adept at navigating the clouds and the most agile in the air, couldn’t respond in time, only feeling as if a thunder weighing thousands of tons exploded in his ears.

The brightly shining Magic Barrier, capable of withstanding countless rounds of heavy cannon fire, now violently trembled, seemingly on the verge of breaking apart.

In the overbearing deep crimson blaze, the tyrannically unparalleled Red Dragon extended its massive claw, with an overwhelming force grasping firmly onto the head of Ancestral Golden Dragon Oblash.

Karon’s giant claw, like an unshakeable chain, penetrated between Oblash’s upper jaw and lower jaw, clamping onto the front of the Ancestral Golden Dragon’s skull, then pushing the Golden Dragon forward with a mighty force.
